Mountain Mike's: where the mountains are high, the wait time is higher. Ordered a pizza, and they did not hold back on the toppings--seriously, I think they just dumped the whole kitchen on there. Props for generosity. The crust, unfortunately, tasted like an oversized frozen pizza, so maybe the toppings were just there to distract me. Also ordered traditional KC BBQ wings... and got boneless wings instead. So basically, chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce. At that point, I wasn't sending them back because I didn't have another lifetime to spare. The service was super friendly, though, probably because they knew we had been there long enough to start getting tax bills. The space is tiny, so expect to get real comfortable with your neighbors. Three stars for the nice staff, the effort, and the sheer commitment to topping overload. Hoping they work out the kinks before my next visit--preferably sometime this year!

This location has a sports bar-ish feel with the multiple tv's and the layout of the seating. The staff was super friendly with awesome service. We ordered the pikes peak pizza and garlic not-knots. The garlic not-knots were a surprise to use as they are as the name suggests, not your average garlic knot. They have cheese in the center and the "bread" is a different texture (I didn't get to ask what they use) but the flavor was very even with the butter, garlic, and cheese mixture. The pizza was very good, evenly portioned with lots of toppings as you can see. The crust was a little on the thick side for me but that's only because I prefer thin crust but it was really good. They have a salad bar, wings, and even mini churros. I would recommend trying this place out for some pizza and things.

**DO NOT GO TO MOUNTAIN MIKE'S PIZZA LUNCH BUFFET!!** Up Front Summary for those not wanting to read a longer review: - Very poor selection of pizzas offered on the buffet - Pizzas were left on the buffet for over 1hr 10 min (some of the pizzas were there when we arrived and still there when we left 70 min later) - Extremely rude service (or rather lack thereof) Details: My family has enjoyed Mountain Mike's Pizza a multiple times over the last few months. We live in Flying Horse and their restaurant is located about six minutes from our house, plus we thought their pizzas had been a good value (the amount we pay for the quality of product we receive). Today I took my son on a lunch date to try out the Mountain Mike's Pizza lunch buffet. I had just recently learned of the lunch buffet's existence, and probably hadn't been to a pizza buffet since "back in the day" at Pizza Hut. I have fond memories of enjoying those great buffets with my parents, so I was looking forward to sharing a similar experience with my son. Unfortunately...a pleasant experience did not occur. The MMP female employee who was in charge of the restaurant during our visit this afternoon, seemed to make it her personal mission to ruin our experience. I'm not sure if "Heather" (well, that is the name on my receipt) was just having a bad day, or if she is just genuinely an unpleasant person. From our initial interaction arriving and paying for our buffets, through the multiple conversations I had with her about issues with the buffet...she was simply rude and unpleasant. During my last interaction with her I said "Have I done something wrong that has upset you? Because you are being quite rude to me." She did not address my concern with any reply and just walked away into the kitchen. In the photo I have provided, you can see a few slices of pineapple pizza on the left pizza plate, the majority of some kind of a vegetarian specialty pizza in the middle, and a few slices of a pepperoni pizza on the right. The pineapple and vegetarian pizzas were obviously not desired since they sat uneaten for over an hour. When I requested for some other pizzas to be made, I was told (by "Heather") that until those were eaten, no new pizzas would be made. When I asked her "If nobody ever eats them, then how am I supposed to get different pizzas to eat?", she replied "You can purchase any pizza you want to eat." I explained to her that I had already made a purchase...that of the buffet, and that I should be getting the opportunity to eat fresh and different pizzas. She disagreed. Summary: My family has enjoyed their pizzas in the past. However, now that I have had an incredibly negative experience with them...it looks like it will be only Walters 303 pizzas from here moving forward!

I had this pizza in California when visiting my parents and I was super excited when I heard it was coming to Colorado Springs! I chose to go there on my birthday yesterday and met a friend for their lunch buffet, which is Monday-Friday from 11-2. I was treated so well by Kalie- I was really impressed. (Her sister was also really kind!) Kalie explained the pizza options and how the buffet works, and then gave us some super delicious churro bites too. I love their special cute pepperoni pizza. I also really liked their garlic not-knots which have really good flavor including a little Ranch inside! There was a sign when I was leaving that the salad bar wasn't included in the pizza buffet for the month of February- I was confused because the sign wasn't there when I ordered and I did get salad- oops! The buffet is simple with several pizza options (it's a softer thicker crust) and a dessert pizza too, along with the garlic not-knots. There is a lot of seating, including comfortable booths around the walls and then tables in the middle. They have Pepsi products. They have TV's with sports on them. They are offering some heart shaped pizzas and a heart shaped cherry pie pizza the month of February that are cute and look yummy. They have a good app and rewards program that I recommend you check out. The restaurant opened in mid-December and is right by the new Amphitheater- both my friend and I had trouble finding it even with GPS because it's off by itself next to an escape room. I highly recommend you give Mountain Mike's a try- it's tasty pizza with especially delicious pepperoni cups and great food and service all around!

With that said if you like fried chicken, if you like wings and you wanna try some thing different unique and delicious. This is your place. To my understanding, Korean fried chicken is fried twice, which gives you that extra crispiness and also locks in the chicken flavor and keeps it moist inside. They offer unique dishes on the Korean side, such as pickled radish, cucumber salad, Bulgogi over rice, and many other unique choices. Like many of the other places I go to this is a unique place to eat compared to all the generic places around here. I always look forward to coming. I ordered the mixed chicken, which includes six wings and three regular sized drumsticks. They have different flavors but they go to original is their soy garlic. I've tried their spicy. I've tried the occasional Korean barbecue flavor, but none of them compared to the original. It comes with one side, so I took the pickled radish, and I ordered a side of Bulgogi along with the cucumber salad. All of it was delicious. The outside is very clean and new. There's plenty of parking. Inside the restaurant is very clean and often busy, but I've never had a problem finding a table to sit at. The wait staff is very attentive as well. It is priced about what wings are at most places these days - $2/wing. The bulgogi was delicious, but a bit on the higher side, about $22 for what you get, was a bit lighter in the size of the serving. Will definitely be back, and highly recommend you give it a shot!

This was a terrible experience…read more The wings that I ordered had a small amount of sauce and the 'hot ones' were coated in crushed red pepper. See the picture below. Literally covered in crushed red pepper. But only some of them. The guy from Dickey's (there's no actual wing boss location...btw. More on that later) but the guy who I called and complained to about the crushed red pepper coating the wings said "that's how we do our hot". Huh?!? Nobody else in the world does 'hot wings' by coating them in crushed red pepper. Next. The fries were uncooked and the portions were tiny - $4.50. Again - see the picture. Oh. And the kicker? Wing Boss' is actually inside the Dickeys bbq. Nowhere is this mentioned in the ordering process or on the receipt I was emailed. I had to track it down as there's no sign for 'Wing Boss' or is there an actual wing boss business location. What poor food and an even worse run business. Do NOT order from here.

If you love chicken wings, please don't get them from here…read more Wing Boss is located inside of Dickey's BBQ, which I thought the wings were going to be amazing. How wrong I was. The wings were flavorless and bland. The Cajun fries were soggy, didn't had any real flavor, and the Cajun spice tasted very old. I order two sides of blue cheese which were "combined" into this one larger container. No big deal, the problem was that they diluted the blue cheese to the point it was very watery, didn't taste like blue cheese, and it looked and tasted quite disgusting. For the chicken wings flavors, I got Buffalo mild, Buffalo hot, Parmesan garlic, and Lemmon pepper. Buffalo hot flavor is just the Buffalo mild with red crushed pepper which makes them hot for the sake of being hot and flavorless. The Buffalo mild wasn't really mild, but it was the closest to a normal Buffalo chicken wing, until you bite into it. Not much of a flavor on the wings. The Lemmon pepper chicken wings were dried and flavorless. I only could pick up the Lemmon pepper flavor at the extremities of the wing. The wings are not evenly coated on both sides. These were more of plain type of wing. The garlic Parmesan wings are more of a yellowish soupy dish. If you like wings swimming on a sauce, you might like these. The sauce had more flavor than any of the previous ones, but again, as soon as you bite into the wing, the dryness and flavorless of it comes back with a vengeance. Now let me tell you the reason for my 1 star. The only plus is that the wings were meatier than your average wing places. Have I mentioned dry and flavorless city? I made this order online and didn't taste them until I got home, otherwise I would have returned everything.
