The "gourmet delite" crust - which is a thin crust - is way better to me. There is also stuffed, traditional, and gluten-free crust. Located on the Coast Highway in the Pacific Village plaza. Slightly pricey, but better than grocery store pizza. Online ordering available. I miss Papa Murphy's. June 2021 Before the pandemic this used to be one of the best Papa Murphy in the chain. Their expensive pizzas were a work of art. The taste was to die for. We live in California in the winter and couldn't wait to return to Newport for the summer and Papa Murphy's. What a DISSAPOINTMENT when we returned this month, we ordered the most expensive Papa Murphy family Chicago Stuffed Pizza. When we picked it up it looked like something done in kindergarten and very flat. When we got home to our guests we baked the Papa Murphy for the allotted time, let it stand for a few minutes and began cutting pieces for our guests. We immediately noticed something amiss. Looking between the crust we saw there was barely any pepperoni or any other stuffing. When eating it the pizza had an off taste not like the usual Papa Murphy. The only thing we could assume based on our experience is, this location was in Pandemic financial trouble and they were cutting back on the stuffing for their Papa Murphy pizza before going out of business as happened to the two Papa Murphy's that went out of business a couple of years ago in Temecula California doing the same thing. I hope the Papa Murphy parent company pays attention to what seems to be going on with the most expensive pizza of all the chains out there. At $22.00 for the family pizza you should get what you pay for. read more

June 8, 2019 Ordered their Family Chicago Stuffed Pizza, "GREAT" Forgot how much I missed it. Can't get it in So Cal. They're to lazy to bake their own pizza. They seem to love the box of grease pizzas. Most of if not all of the Papa Murphy's in southern California have closed shop because people want to eat their grease pizza walking out of the store or delivered ready to eat, they can't appreciate the taste and quality of a great pizza. A $21.00 pizza has a tough time beating out a $5.99 pizza but the QUALITY is in the Papa Murphy's and it's worth every penny. Last nights Chicago Stuffed was so fresh and full of pepperoni with an artful crust it was almost a sin to eat it, but we did with good friends. read more

After all, is there really any difference in the Take'n'Bake pizza from any of the locations? Bottom line: About like a grocery store pizza. Great papa Murphy's. I wanted a large thin crust Hawaiian, but cut down to a smaller size so it would fit in the RV oven. They were very accommodating. And it was a delicious pizza. I would highly recommend them. read more

Usually i have a decent experience. But my lady was directly lied to about the $5 favs. Which we didn't want. We wanted a regular pizza. We asked for extra pepperoni and was charged the standard $1.50. The lady goes to the back grabs a$5 fav and brings it to her. She ask did you put extra pepporoni and she is told yes. I get home and the pizza just looks horrible. All the sauce is glopped onto one side. read more

Ordered a Thai Chicken pizza never had a problem before but this time the chicken smelled awful like it had gone bad, it was disgusting. This isn't the first time there has been an issue. They are perfecto if you want to pay extra for toppings and then they don't put them on. So the first time the manager gave me a three dollar credit, yippee Skippy. Today I went in and ordered two pizzas one was a cowboy with added pineapple. After driving all the way home I realize there is no pineapple at all I even lifted it up to see if maybe it was stuck somewhere tiny underneath everything else. So I called Papa Murphy's and talk about rude. They said oh no we know we put it on where the place was packed so I doubt they remember. After arguing back-and-forth which never should be, I was asked to bring the pizza back in to drive all the way back 5 miles one way so they could look at it since they didn't trust me. We're talking $1.50 and they're worried over that. For the principle of it I was willing to drive all the way back but the more I thought about it I thought Yelp would like to hear what is going on there. Needless to say I opened up a can of pineapple & chopped it up and put it on. Future customers you need to either stand there and watch that they put things on like I say this is not the first or the second but the very first time I was standing there and I said wait a minute you're supposed to add oh I didn't see that was their response, so it's best to check everything out before you leave as I can understand why they are lowered to just a three star and it's probably do to the customer service or the lack there of.. read more

This may be a tad on the expensive side by cheap tourist standards, but the pizza is worth every cent. I am from Manhattan and very fussy. I ordered lots of toppings for a large pie that cost $20. After baking, I had the best thin crust pizza I have ever eaten. Anywhere else that pie would be $35 or more! I highly recommend. read more

We have gone here for many years and found the pizza great. Recently they remodeled and, evidently, the building interior isn't the only change. We tried twice and found both times, one time two pizzas and the next time three pizzas. They are. Not like the product we enjoyed. read more

I've loved the pizza and salad at this location for 8 yrs. Recently management made a decision to use less ingredients on both- much less. I spoke to the store manager about this and he stated that the previous manager, Matt, had used too many ingredients and was let go. Matt was an excellent positive influence in that store and the paltry salad that's now offered for $5 is hardly worth it. I let the manager know that they've lost my business over this. read more
