They have gluten free buns, and they are delicious. Makes me so happy. They also have a vegan option. I've had both and both are yummy. Hands down - best milkshake ever!! Had the "Purple Peanut," comprised of vanilla ice cream, Marionberries and peanut butter. Their smash burgers are pretty doggone good too. Fries are served hot & crisp! Limited area for dining. We noticed many to-go orders which keeps Skosh hopping! We dined at the counter and saw many, many milkshakes getting made. We placed a to go order. For some reason I got a bun with two patties and nothing else? I ordered a double cheeseburger with everything. The milkshakes are pretty solid. Burgers are dry and over cooked and the fries are decent. I'll go back for a milkshake and make my own burger. read more

This has happened twice now, and I truly do appreciate this place but my last encounter was not very good. First time, I asked for no sauce, no cheese(weird I know but that's my request) It came with cheese. Upon returning it, there seemed to be some quiet mumbling from the cooks, I felt bad, but I was super clear. 2nd time, I stressed please no sauces, no cheese, make it dry. I get it, and it had mustard on it, they say that's the way we cook it, and I say, even if a customer says make it dry???? They redid it, but not before some more mumbling that i couldn't quite make out. I said, hey I don't enjoy asking for a refire, and the owner guy says, hey man, don't put that on me, I had 2 people call out this morning. SO, you are gonna put that on me??? Anyways, they had always been nice, I enjoy the food but I don't know that I'd go back which really sucks since I am local and there isn't much around. I just don't understand how they did not understand my order... I said it like 3 times before I left, please make it dry, just lettuce and pickles... anyways I wish no ill will, it's solid fast food and I would recommend it but I would not expect that they will actually listen to your order, that has not been the case so far. read more

Skosh has been on my radar a while cuz people keep recommending the burgers to us. The kid and I had just wrapped up an exciting laundry adventure in Waldport, and we needed a vanilla shake to commemorate my moms birthdayaversary ( vanilla shakes were her fav) and this worked out. Not in a burger mood today ( we will totally have to go back to try them) we went to the tiny little cute building I remember getting ice cream from about 10 years ago, and ordered curbside delivery through square ( I know, we are tired and sick, I don't know what to tell you) while sitting in the tiny parking lot. Our yummy blackened cod tacos, smoked chicken quesadilla, fries, and vanilla malted milkshake showed up at our car in about 15-20 minutes. Everything was very delicious. I really liked the smoked chicken in the quesadilla (my kid kept swiping pieces of it) and overall this was a delightful late lunch/early Friday dinner and priced around the usual coast prices. Kid loved the tacos and let me try the fish, it was really good! My only wish was for ketchup for the fries and maybe salsa, guac, or sour cream for dipping the quesadilla. A mango salsa would be good. But. Still a 5 in my book. read more

Exactly what you would expect from a top tier smash burger. My daughter and I both got smash burgers, and we shared some fries, a drink and a milkshake. The burgers were excellent and fairly well contained on the bun.....not too messy ! The shake was good but honestly I would probably pass next time. The portion wasn't very large and for seven bucks I'm too much of a cheapskate to enjoy it. The service was friendly and attentive and the place was clean and the music was too notch. Overall value was just ok. Next time I would skip the shake and just go with two burgers and shared fries and drink which would make the meal for two about forty bucks. This spot is absolutely amazing! Best burger I've had in a long time! The patties were perfectly done, the bacon was thick and crispy, oozing with flavor, just so impressive! We passed by so many 3 star tourist places to get to this hidden gem. Skosh is vegetarian friendly!! My mom is vegetarian and she was blown away too! She got the mushroom Swiss impossible smash burger and said it was seriously perfect. They have a bunch of veggies burger options and veggie quesadillas. Everyone working there was super friendly and the service was excellent. Food came out unbelievably fast. They don't have much indoor seating but there are picnic tables outside that you can see the water from. I will 100% be back next time I'm on the coast. Amazing burgers. I inhaled the tidewater burger - it's a gooey flavor bomb of sweet, salty and sour with its garlic mayo, bacon, melted cheese, pickles and BBQ sauce. Thin onion rings balance it out with a nice crisp. Their brioche buns are soft and perfect 'wrapper'. Their fries are seasoned and served with a special sauce. I also recommend the chitwood salad. It's very much a meal with crispy (or grilled) chicken, bacon, and nuts for protein. Julienned apples add a tart sweetness to the other veggies. Great food and great service! We were warmly welcomed into their small space and offered immediate assistance. Everything on the menu looked great, but we opted for a chicken wrap, burger, and chicken sandwich with shakes. The Oreo and berry shakes were amazing! Our food came out shortly and everything was delicious. We were particularly fond of the fries: crispy on the outside with fluffy middles and tasty Skosh sauce for dipping. The homemade ranch is also fantastic. We will be back again and are so glad there is such a great spot in Waldport! read more

We're newish to the area, and have been wanting to try this place for a long time. I am so glad we finally did because nothing about this place is disappointing! The fried chicken sandwich was bomb, the burgers taste just like they should, the milkshakes are real, and the service was fast, friendly, and happy to help. The only thing I could possibly complain about is that the sandwiches/burgers are a little messy to eat. However, there are plenty of napkins around and as it's said, "if it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face." Well worth any mess and I can't wait to go back. No-frills but all flavor, Skosh is easily the best burger option between Yachats & Newport. We get takeaway burgers from here most times we are in Waldport for a day or two. But have a spot to eat in mind because there isn't much space (in or out) to consume them here. Maybe Gov Patterson wayside - just a mile S of town on hwy 101 (with good beach access) is a good option for that! read more

Food is good and I get that prices are crazy for restaurant owners. We really try and support businesses we like but we had to look several times to make sure our bill was correct. $46 for two burgers , one side salad one side fries, one beer and a can of pop. The can of soda was $3.50. Put down a tip you are well over $50 for burger meal. We will still go because the food is YUMMY but it's going to be less often and no $3.50 single can of pop. read more

Last stop and for the gold winning first place is Skosh The others are good too so not naming them but Skosh was fantastic. Also had their chicken salad and pulled pork sandwich. This was the best food we had here on the Oregon coast hands down. The portions were massive. The ingredients were fresh. The service was great. All of the employees seemed happy and like they enjoyed their job. The seating was really limited inside and seating outside is right on the side of highway 101.
