There are no reservations and wait times can be long, but there is a small space with a counter where you can order drinks in the meantime. The bar, situated to the left, and the booths and tables to the right make for an intimate dining space. With one or two TVs, it feels a little more casual, but you can easily choose to not pay attention to the screens. Pear and gorgonzola salad: Would be too small for a meal in my opinion, but a nice starter to share if everyone wants some leafy greens. A light, pear vinaigrette coats mixed greens with equal amounts of walnuts, gorgonzola cheese and mixed root vegetables. If you're looking for a salad with some creativity, try it. Garlic knots: MUST get. It's like the savory version of the inside of a cinnamon roll. So doughy with a cheese crust and doused in butter and garlic, these knots sit on top of a light red sauce that can be used to enhance their flavor even further. They are rich and having one and a half was more plenty. Emma: Crust is so important to me in pizza, along with quality ingredients, and I think Mothership nailed it. The thin, buttery white sauce is not overpowering, and with a blend of cheeses, mushrooms and artichokes making up the bulk of the pizza, the hints of truffle honey, pistachio and basil can still peak through. The base of the pizza is thin with a Rosalia style crust - almost like naan bread - so doughy and soft. I think if you are prepared to wait for a table, it really is worth it. I can't forget the chocolate chip cookies and milk at the end too - I recognize a chocolate chip cookie is a chocolate chip cookie is a chocolate chip cookie - and these are just like the ones your mom makes!
