I've been a customer of Papa Murphy's since the late 90's! Whew, that's a long time. Of course that is not only the Eagle River location.... obviously... but it is where we go, since we are back in the area. It's by no means the only pizza we buy or enjoy but when we do, we are always satisfied. I'm also not a pizza snob and I freely admit that. It's a nice option too, when you aren't quite ready to eat, but don't want to go back out for take out. The disposable, single use pizza pan is nice... simply bake your pizza and throw it away. I feel like I personally have perfected baking a PMP and after the allotted baking time, I turn the broiler on low and brown the top, rotating and moving the pizza in the oven. It takes a few extra minutes, but it's worth it. I've never experienced raw or undercooked pizza... even when following just the instructions. I do find that a full price pizza is a bit spendy, but there are sooooo many coupons out there, it's kind of your own fault if you pay full price. A simple look in google and it's pretty easy to get a nice coupon code to order online. I like to order it to be picked up at a certain time, like when I'm on my way home from work, I know what time I'm going to be in the area. When I've decided on a whim to stop in, I've been offered a discount automatically and I've also asked if there are any specials... There are ALWAYS specials. They're generally pretty busy making pizza, and yes, it takes time to make pizza, even if they don't cook it. If I order and wait, they have always stopped and made mine. Within the last week, I've ordered twice online... once to drop a pizza, cookie dough and soda off at a friends house because he had just moved and I got a great deal! The toppings were plentiful and exactly what I ordered and ready when I arrived. The second time, a modified pizza for us to pick up on our way home... when I got to the car, I noticed it was missing a topping. I verified my order via email and walked back in. The young man was extremely apologetic, did not make excuses, a corrected the mistake quickly! Again, stopped making the two that he was working on, added my missed topping and I was on my way. The people work there are all under age according to the manager and very rude. I will no longer be buying pizza from them.

These folks make my favorite pizzas! My family is very spoiled with the Cowboy, Papa's Favorite, and Murphy's Combo. AND the salads are super fresh and clean and taste very good. Very good service and super easy app. read more

Papa Murphy's Eagle River is our go to pizza - super convenient being right next to Fred Meyer and on my way home from work. We generally order the thin crust large size. What works for us is to pre-heat as directed, we have our pizza stone on the bottom rack and the papa Murphy's on their paper tray on another rack. We cook for 12 minutes and pull both the pizza stone and pizza out and then we slide the pizza off the paper tray onto the stone and let it finish on the hot stone. This trick works good for us. My only reason for a down grade, is that it feels like work to get them to add extra pineapple - even when we pay for the extra topping. I have never said "wow that is a too much pineapple". read more

Bacon bacon bacon pizza!!! OMG! I've always thought of buying a fresh made pizza RAW to take home and bake myself a kind of scam. I admit it probably comes from growing up on frozen pizza, pop out, bake, eat and cheap, BUT I enjoyed buying a fresh made pizza here and baked it at home. Big! Bacon! More bacon! I've never heard of Papa Murphy's until I moved here but the thought of grabbing your pizza and taking to home interests me. I downloaded the app and browsed what they had before making my selections. Seemed pretty basic and similar to the other pizza ordering apps. The wait time was about 20 minutes, again about the average for other pizza joints. When I walking the in joint I was unsure of how it worked but was directed by the guy behind the counter to check the racks for my name. There I found both pizzas I had ordered. They were on some type of paper type pan and wrapped in clear plastic wrap. There was a sheet of directions on one of the pizzas as well. We got home and decided to go ahead and heat the oven and pop them in once the temp was up to the recommended heating temps. After about 18 minutes we had hot pizzas right out of the oven. That's pretty much where the fun ends. The taste was just okay, nothing to write home about. The crust lacked any real taste and it didn't have the crunchy outside soft inside like others have. The crust was actually thin and kind is soggy, even after I followed the directions and removed from the pan half way through the cooking. The difference is the over doesn't got hot like a pizza over would. For the price of the pizza and the time it takes, it's almost be faster to order another pizza and have it delivered hot to the door. Not horrible, but not worth the money for what you get. read more

This is by far the WORST Papa Murphys - we ordered two pizzas which online said they were $14 each and were told it'd be ready in 15 minutes. When we arrived we waited an extra 45 minutes and they were $20 each. The guy working was the rudest person ever and we will not be giving them our business ever again. DO NOT GO HERE. Wow... these guys can't read a ticket. The last few times I've ordered I've ordered pizza's with extra cheese. When they give me the pizza I ask them if added extra cheese like I was charged. They said 'no'. I ask them to remake it correctly and they just say 'It's already made, deal with it.' When I ask for a refund, they say no. I went to corporate and corporate doesn't care. I had to dispute the charge on my card each time. The owner just straight up doesn't care. read more

They lost my online order, a pizza and 2 salads. I had to wait 20 minutes in the parking lot for them to get it ready. Not until after the wait they informed me that the lettuce wasn't defrosted so they couldn't provide me with my two salads. They offered me healthy alternative though... s'mores bars. With pizza already in hand I had no choice but to accept, I was ready to go home. In total I spent $16 on two salads, $23 on a specialty pizza, plus I tipped 25%, so 48.75$. The s'mores bars online are only $6. I drove home feeling completely ripped off. read more

I also thought the take and bake thing was a bit odd but one day a few years ago I tried it and was just as surprised as Cherie. The pizza is just as good if not better what would you would get from many of the local pizza joints in town and absolutely better than frozen. The unbaked pizza will keep in the fridge for a few days before you need to bake it. Try throwing a couple in the RV before you go hunting or camping. read more

One word defines Papa Murphy's Take N Bake: terrific. I loved the experience. Every menu item that we have purchased was really fresh and yummy. Everyone that works there is always very friendly. I don't really have any complaints about Papa Murphy's Take N Bake. read more

Dear Owner/Manager/Investor of Papa Murphy's of Eagle River, I never really understood the concept of Take-N-Bake pizza but decided to give it a shot one night. I have to say it's not a bad idea. Fresh pizza that you take home and bake yourself so you can enjoy it fresh out of the oven. Sounds simple enough, right? Well then how come you guys can't get it right? All you need to do is be well prepped, have enough staff to crank out raw pizzas, and someone to ring up the customers. Instead, the place is filled with 5-7 teens all goofing around. Manager-where are you? I know this is an investment but come by every now and then. Take a look at how the staff YOU HIRED is treating their customers. Take an interest in what your customers want. No, I don't expect a red carpet rollout for this place-but I do expect the basics. Please and thank yous. Pizza and all the basic ingredients. Cleanliness. How about that salad cooler that is NEVER stocked? If you know they are going to sell out by 4pm then have them prep more to meet the demand? Or maybe one of the 5 kids working the pizza line can jump in the back and prep another one? They are making raw pizzas. That's it. It's not rocket science. Remember what happened to Quiznos in town? People stopped going because they got sick of sub-pair service and food. read more

Waited for almost 30 min to pickup 2 pizzas that were ordered online 2 hrs earlier and no apology given. online ordering is a joke at this place. The store recommends putting a pickup time multiple hours before the desired pickup time in order for them to have it ready (obviously this does not work, there has to be a better way). read more

What happened to the manager Elizabeth? Got a pizza yesterday and it was made like crap. She knew everything about making a great pizza. Everything on her pizza's where perfect, evenly done. This pizza had to much veggies one side and meat wasn't even on the other side. Whats happened? Long time customer gone. read more

So I have frequented this Papa Murphy's (Eagle River) for years. Within the past couple of months it has gone down hill. This is the third time in a month that my order has been wrong. They consistently forget to add the garlic to the sauce on the specialty pizza. When I called and explained this to the manager I was told, "It is an extra step and sometimes they forget it". Excuse me, but it is their job. Not to mention that this wasn't the first time, nor was it the last. Again tonight they forgot it. Also I asked for beef on my second pizza tonight and they put chicken on it. I am sad to say that I enjoyed the convenience of Papa Murphy's, but this will be the last time I order from them. One mistake too many and they only thing I, the paying customer is told, is that sometimes the steps to making the pizza get missed. That is unacceptable. read more
