The pizza is very good. I haven't been disappointed by any pizza. Good crust, good flavor. I would love better vegetable options. The salad pictured was $16. It was good but shockingly small for the price. I did not eat any before the photo.

Went here with my son and mom, the pizza was good it was really spicy but good. The salad was delicious! I would recommend going here.

4 friends heading to the Foundry to watch a concert, but let's stop at this Michelin Star award winning pizza joint first, yes please! Don't be afraid of the hard looking alley you have to head down to get to this hidden gem. Before I tell ya about the food, let me tell you, Connor made this experience top notch and just a fun, great experience. We were seated at the bar and had a great time conversing and enjoying the great ambiance. Food is top notch and so flavorful. We went with just a plain old pepperoni pizza but it was a step above a great pepperoni pizza. Great portion size on the pizza and it will easily feed 3-4 people. Large slices and even larger pepperoni to clog your arteries. So good and so worth it! We also tried the tonewood "freshies" pale ale. Very fruit forward and fragrant bouquet finish. Liked it, but wouldn't order another. The ploughman "the birdwatcher" dry cider with peach was fantastic. Not as dry as you would think which was nice because I lean more on the sweet side selection. Definitely dry, but not Sauvignon Blanc dry. Overall great experience and would definitely come back next time in Philly. May even ask for Connor in the Hoagie Room!

Homely atmosphere with extremely pleasant staff. You can visit/ tour the kitchen if you want. The pizza was good. I enjoyed my meatball appetizer! It was made perfect and a lot of flavor! The basil made the dish pop! My wife got a salad. I tried it, and it wasn't too bad. The dressing and cheese were the stars of the salad! It was nice to visit, but felt the price was too high for us. Please come here and let me know what you think!

Perfect ratio of base, sauce and cheese. I get it now, lol. Angry Pizza - thai chilis came out with a bang. A must-try for spicy lovers.

We stopped in here a few Fridays ago and were so glad we did. The staff is wonderful. We got the burrata as the app and it was sooo good. We did the classic pizza with sausage. BEST PIZZA IN PHILLY!!! Crust is thin but cooked properly. We've tried a lot of pizza and my husband also said it's better than NYC. We can't wait to go back and try more!!!

Finally got to try the famous Pizzeria Beddia, and it didn't disappoint. I've had the Pizza Camp cookbook for years and on our family trip to Philly, this was a must try. We got the basic pizza and added sausage. It's just the perfect pie with no complaints. High quality ingredients, perfect amount of cheese to sauce combo, and a crispy yet fluffy crust. The inside of the restaurant is really nice and would be great for a date night. Service was helpful in suggestions and were attentive. Highly recommend this spot!

Huge pizza but super thin! No crumbs were left. I am usually a pepperoni kinda gal but this time we decided to try the special - a delicious combo of broccoli, smoked paprika and grana creme, lemon preserve, royer mountain. We got a beer and a wine as well as both the soft serve flavors: sweet cream and espresso. By the time we were finished with the dessert, I was so full I couldn't move. I blame the broccoli! The 16" pizza is no joke, we saw everyone who ordered more than a pizza going home with a box.

We enjoyed this unique pizza with a lovely crispy bottom although a thin crust, had a doughy middle and crispier top with perfect flavoring. This being said, it is more well done than we are used to, but not at all overdone, just perfect and packed with perfectly balanced flavor. The tomato sauce is bright, the cheese is profoundly deep and rich, and the crust is delicious. We shared a mushroom pizza that is extremely flavorful and delicious. The drinks and salad (lettuce with olives and what tasted like a light garlic lemon anchovy sauce with some heat) were also delicious. The service is warm and hospitable and the interior is modern and bright and playful (picture large a marshmallow like floating-cloud shaped lamp floating above the bar beneath the sizable sky light) with slightly industrial and modern interior finishes and large piping. These also an outdoor space with plenty of seating. Love the vibe.

Great place for a casual meal! Cute decor and vibes. Our server was very nice and helpful with recommendations. I got the spritz drink and it was very refreshing. We got the burrata and number 5 pizza. Everything came out promptly and tasted great! I just wish the focaccia that came with the burrata was warm. Would definitely come back!

I came here the other evening as I was visiting Philly for the weekend, and it was so good. I'd highly recommend making a reservation, as this place can get quite packed. The space is really pretty with lots of natural light, warm woods and earth tones. The menu is simple and straightforward with their pizzas being the star of the show. We ordered the pizza arrabbiata, which had quite a bit of kick to it, but was absolutely delicious. The service was pretty good as well. I'd definitely come back here again to try some of the other pizzas along with the soft serve.

Came here after getting a tattoo on Black Friday and this hole-in-the-wall pizza shop is amazing. It was packed but we were still able to get a seat outside for 2 with a headlamp on a cold fall day. The service was great and the pizza was some of the best I had. Can't wait to go back!

Okay...I love Beddia. I don't know why it took me so long to get here but I am now a complete convert. Delicious pizza, kind service, gorgeous environment with cozy outdoor seating and a posh bar/dining room setup. Tampa Bay CM Sky was in town visiting and we hit this spot prior to heading to a show at the Fillmore. This is a GREAT course of action if you're in the neighborhood for a show! Beddia is the ultimate family friendly, "see someone you haven't seen in awhile" watering hole that still feels chic - a hard combo to master. We went with the vegetable pizza and some caesar veggies. I think we both expected the veg to come warm but it is a cold salad style dish. Not my favorite but an interesting menu addition. The pizza is the shining star here of course. We split one and were unable to finish it - so a little will go a long way here. Perfect thin crust, high quality ingredients, highly creaveable. I will be back anytime I have a pizza hankering and will also plan to come back and sit at the gorgeous bar whenever I am in the neighborhood.

EXCELLENT LATE-NIGHT STOP! MUST TRY!…read more We walked in about an hour before closing on a Thursday night--never an ideal entrance. You know the look. The polite smile that says "it's fine" while the eyes say "it is absolutely not." Totally understandable. No one loves a near-close order. I even acknowledged it out loud--apologized, explained we weren't from the area, and that we were just trying to grab a quick bite because it was one of the few places still open. She said it was okay. Her face said otherwise. Fair enough. Here's where it turned around. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and legitimately impressive. Not "good for late night" good--just plain good. Every bite was fresh, the ingredients tasted clean, and the pizza clearly hadn't been rushed or phoned in despite the timing. Hunger probably helped, but even factoring that out, this was a standout. Honestly, I was kicking myself for not ordering an extra one to go before leaving the city. That's how good it was. We did try to get drinks, but were told the soda machine was down. The nozzles were off, so I'm guessing it was a cleaning/end-of-night thing. I won't ding them for it--though let's be real, tossing nozzles in sanitizer isn't exactly a marathon. Still, not a deal-breaker. Restaurant was clean, but of course, they were near closing. I tipped her a few bucks for staying late, and left genuinely satisfied. Bottom line: the food carried this experience completely. If you're visiting Philadelphia and need a reliable, fresh, late-night bite, &Pizza is absolutely worth the stop. Sometimes the places you expect the least end up delivering the most. I plan to 100000% return (and it'll probably be near closing time again, too)

Fortunately, I got booked on a flight out the next morning and found a hotel in the city. I was immediately seated upon arriving to Pizzeria Vetri. I was asked if I wanted to sit at the bar, at a table, or at the pizza counter. I chose the pizza counter so that I could watch staff making pizzas. As I was there on my own, the serving staff continued to stop by and check on me. Their plain pies strike a great balance between thin crust and traditional hand-tossed pizza. My wife prefers thinner pizza, while I lean toward something with a bit more structure, and somehow this lands perfectly in the middle. The large plain pie is also very fairly priced for Center City these days, especially considering the quality. A large plain pie with no toppings generally feeds about three people, depending on appetite size, maybe four if people are eating lightly. The garlic knots are excellent, pickup times are reliable, and the place always feels lively. They've clearly built a loyal neighborhood following. I look forward to trying more specialty pies, especially the Brooklyn Upside Down. What I appreciate most is that it feels like a real neighborhood pizza spot, not overly polished or trendy, just consistently very good. The pizza also feels a bit different from a classic New York-style pie in a way that's hard to describe but really works. While I can't speak for a bulk of their menu, I can say that I was left wishing I had ordered their pizza al' tagglio instead of the classic, "Queen Margherita." We arrived around 8:30 on a Saturday night, not realizing they close at 9, and were among the last customers to order. So, a little PSA!!! Get there earlier if you're out and about on the weekend. The cashier's energy made it pretty clear the staff was ready to wrap up for the night, and unfortunately, that seemed to carry over into the overall experience. Our order took about 20 minutes to come out, and while the crust was addictive, the pizza as a whole felt lackluster. The sauce was your rather basic crushed whole peeled tomatoes that seemed hand crushed and spread thinly over the perfectly crisp crust. And I do mean perfect folks. The blobs of half melted mozzarella were randomly scattered atop like a Dalmatian's spots and despite the menu stating parmesan was supposed to be there, I saw no trace. Same goes for the EVOO. Once fresh basil leaves were scattered atop but lost their vibrancy since the had obviously been added to the pie before putting it in the oven. Rating: 7/10 (the crust is the savior here) All in all, I would absolutely give Pizzata another go. The Roman-style pizza gets a lot of love, and after seeing photos of some of their other pies, they've still got me salivating so I am not writing them off just yet. The Margherita may not have wowed me, but that crust alone is definitely something worth coming back for.
