Kind of overwhelmed by this location. I've been to anther location which had the assembly line pizza snack system down pat. This location had 3 employees behind the counter running all over the place, multiple ones asking what we wanted and not sure who was supposed to be working on what. For it not being busy, it seemed chaotic and more time consuming than it should be. Multiple people were checking on their orders, so there wasn't a good number system/time estimate in place. We got the gnarlic knots which were decently tasting, but since it was to go, we didn't check it before it left. They didn't put on the parm-romano cheese and they didn't include the garlic dipping sauce. It just seemed like the running around not knowing who was going what led to oversight. There are tables to dine in, but it's not too much to expect not to inspect food to go to make sure it's as ordered. While they have some fun styles and flavors, there's nothing better than their "lil roni" a double pepperoni pizza that is better than anything you'll find in sates to the left of Philly. I'm a native NYer who loves his pizza and living in SF, really good, NY style pizza is hard to come by. While this place is "fast food," it's always hot and fresh tasting and exactly what east coast pizza should taste like. After a long day of working in Philly, this is one of my go to cravings. This place is large. Pretty good pizza. I've been 5-6 times and this place have never disappointed. Also brought friends out of town and they liked the pizza very much too. Pizza was not too greasy and the dough was very natural and bread like. The best kind of pizza to be considered "healthy-ish". Elote pizza was my favorite of the two with its creamy and comforting savoury corn toppings. EXCELLENT LATE-NIGHT STOP! MUST TRY! We walked in about an hour before closing on a Thursday night--never an ideal entrance. You know the look. The polite smile that says "it's fine" while the eyes say "it is absolutely not." Totally understandable. No one loves a near-close order. I even acknowledged it out loud--apologized, explained we weren't from the area, and that we were just trying to grab a quick bite because it was one of the few places still open. She said it was okay. Her face said otherwise. Fair enough. Here's where it turned around. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and legitimately impressive. Not "good for late night" good--just plain good. Every bite was fresh, the ingredients tasted clean, and the pizza clearly hadn't been rushed or phoned in despite the timing. Hunger probably helped, but even factoring that out, this was a standout. Honestly, I was kicking myself for not ordering an extra one to go before leaving the city. That's how good it was. We did try to get drinks, but were told the soda machine was down. The nozzles were off, so I'm guessing it was a cleaning/end-of-night thing. I won't ding them for it--though let's be real, tossing nozzles in sanitizer isn't exactly a marathon. Still, not a deal-breaker. Restaurant was clean, but of course, they were near closing. I tipped her a few bucks for staying late, and left genuinely satisfied. Found this place via Yelp. Was walking distance from my hotel. I say it's a similar vibe to blaze pizza where they make your pizza to order. It's like slow fast food. The pizza isn't bad though. It used to be good...but there has been a drastic decrease in quality. I suggest you don't order from this location bc I always have something missing in the delivery from Uber Eats. The pizza itself is not up to par..they are very stingy on pepperoni I think I had 8 slices in the whole pizza and I asked for extra. There is a gluten free crust option. Vegan Cheese: Follow Your Heart Brand 2 vegan protein options: Daring chicken & Finely grounded Beyond sausage. I am puzzled as to why only a few crumbs of vegan sausage are provided on a pizza which is nowhere near a portion or adequate serving of protein. Also the very small bits of sausage are not that flavorful after being placed in the pizza oven. If I am paying $18.50 for this personal pizza, I should not still be hungry do to insufficient protein. (Picture on the right has vegan sausage or lack there of) Regular meat options are bountiful. I came here a few years ago in the DMV and decided to try it again with friends while visiting Philadelphia. Upon arrival the service was a little slow and the the workers took a while to get our attention. Also I noticed the tables needed to be cleaned as there was oil and pizza crumbs everywhere. The trash was overfilled and when I went to used the restroom it could've been a tad bit tidier. So the service and cleanliness is a 2.5/5 But on to the food. It's basically like chipotle, where you go down the line and add whatever toppings you want to the pizza and they cook it at the end for about $12. I got a mix of the white sauce and spicy tomato sauce, added sausage, pepperoni, cheese, onions, jalapeño peppers, red peppers and truffle ranch sauce. Because they cook it right then and there it comes out so fresh so that makes it more delicious. I expected it to be a bit more spicier since I added spicy tomato sauce but didn't quite get that. My friend got pesto sauce added to hers which tasted delish so I'll probably add that to mine next time. I also got the ginger lemon berry drink in the can which tasted like a nice light ginger ale soda with blueberry. Overall this is a great spot to grab a pizza besides your traditional Pizza Hut/dominos type of restaurant so give it a try if you're in a city that has one. read more

It's been a while since I've had to leave a poor review but was disappointed after ordering 2 pizzas via delivery. Pizza came out cold and soggy after talking about an hour since ordering. Although it can get a bit cold, the quality of the pizza was really lacking and the fact that it was soggy was the alarming part. I like this chain overall. There are a few in the city, which is helpful. Did you download the app you get a lot more dollar to all things, free drinks, even buy one get one free pizzas, you can order ahead and pick things up or you can go directly to the store and order. They have some casual seating and your order at the window. There's a good amount of pizza to choose from. You can also create your own if you're gluten-free or vegan there's lots of options for you as well. Overall, the pizzas are about 12 bucks the basic ones are 10. I usually wait until there's a deal to go because the pizzas are much smaller than your traditional pizza and there are a lot of places around the city that you can get a 10 or $12 hand past pizza. Whereas, this place is more of a personal size pizza, although it might be able to be split with somebody else but you probably wouldn't want to. read more

To be honest, the first time I had &pizza I didn't really like it and preferred more traditional pick-what-you-want like Blaze, but after eating at the one in University City often, it started to grow on me. One personal note is that while I love pineapple on pizza, the pineapple at all &pizzas are more... sour? tasting than other pineapples from other pizza stores.
