Plastic inside the dough of the pizza.

Daughter was choking and pulled a piece of plastic out of her mouth. Found the pizza was filled with plastic inside the dough. This is the 3rd issue in a row with them.

It's been couple weeks since I've visited Philly and had the amazing Philly cheesesteak and Italian hoagie from here. My cousin called in an order and picked up, the food came home pretty quick. I have no words to express how amazing the cheesesteak was since I had a not so good experience earlier in the day with cheesesteak from another well known location. Hands down one of the best cheesesteaks I have ever had. It had Cooper American cheese and it was my first time having a cheesesteak with that cheese. Every bite was worth it. The Italian hoagie was great as well. It had Cappicola, Ham, Pepperoni, Genoa Salami, Provolone cheese and all the fixings. The hoagie was delicious but my vote goes to the cheesesteak. If you are in the area definitely check out this place.

This is a hidden gem in the northeast section of Philadelphia. I got the grandma pizza here and it so good and flavorful. Nice char on the crust and the tomato plum sauce is fresh. My next time is the cheesesteak I been hearing nothing but good things about it. Overall this is becoming my regular spot for pizza

Never a disappointment always very tasteful and great quality personality I think Stela's has the best in Philly! Only negative is no diet soda lol

One of the best cheesesteaks I've had so far in the city and look forward to going back to try their other selections

Had a friend give me a gift card to Stella's Pizza. I've known of it but I've never tried it so it's excited to have something new. The upside down pizza with added pepperoni was a very well balanced, tasty and nicely crisp. The sauce was excellent and the cheese and seasoning was superbly balanced. What would pizza be without a cheesesteak, so that's what I did. I got extra cheese (amercian & cheddar, no copper here) and double meat because why not. Very fresh roll, nicely chopped meat with a good balance of onions and cheese blended throughout. Perfect flavor of the steak, very solid here. The extra meat really made it very hearty. Happy I tried it and would definitely come back.

    Cheesesteak

When I tell you the cheesesteak was worth the drive! The amount of cheese, steak, onions, mayo, and peppers was on point. The sub was huge and I ate almost half of it in the car. The service was fast, they get a lot of orders, and the establishment was super cute. I loved that you can see them make the cheesesteaks and how passionate they are with every chop! 10 out of 10, leave a comment and check out Stella's Pizza in Philadelphia!

I love Stella's cheesesteaks. they are so huge. You can make two steaks out of one. The bread is seated and the cheese is Cooper. Awesome! The wings are great as well. Today I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and it was so dry I couldn't even swallow it . They don't use real chicken breast so it's turn off . Other wise food is great zzz

Absolutely the star of the show--fresh, soft, and delicious. Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ended for me. The steak itself was surprisingly bland and severely underseasoned, lacking the flavor and punch I was expecting. After just two bites, I was completely done. I came in expecting an iconic food experience and left disappointed. If this is considered one of the best, then Philly cheesesteaks might just not be for me. Very glad I did. I had the The Classic ($19.95: Prime Rib, Cooper Sharp Cheese, Buttery Steakhouse Seasoning, Sautéed Onions). Great seeded roll, perfectly melted cheese, and grilled onions. Service was great. Went to the shop off-hours / around 2:30 on a Friday. Probably 10 people there, so my steak was served up quickly- maybe 5 minutes max from order to handoff. The staff was helpful and patient walking through a rookie on what to order. The shop is un-assuming. Not tons of signage, not a lot of quirky decor on the walls. I visited on one of the first very hot days of the spring. I decided to get the sandwich to go and devoured it at my hotel. Best Cheesesteak is a hot topic in this town. No real point in trying to say one's the best but some food for thought from an out-of-towner: 1) Research. Ask around. Listen to the passion with which they offer their recco. 2) Highly consider Shay's. I really enjoyed the Cheesesteak and the entire experience.

Being that I'm not from the east coast, and these are known as Philly cheesesteaks, I was super excited to try the food and even more so when I saw that the restaurant was Michelin rated. 100% I would rather have hunger pains than eat another meal here. The meat was bland and mushy. The fried onions were undercarmelized. The peppers were non existent. The sesame bread was tougher than I expected and super heavy on the sesame... which could've been ok, but because of the blandness of the protein... really dominated the taste profile of the hoagie. I feel like west coast people just have different expectations when it comes to what we expect from our food. I am a foodie and we have such a high standard as a baseline and this was not it. Sorry Philly... we got better cheesesteaks out here. You all should come visit.

My family and I thought it was good and was our intro to a cheeses steak in Philly. Fast forward to 2026 I was now visiting in from Los Angeles. I did a ton of research prior to my visit and almost everyone on social media said to avoid Pat's. Well, just for the nostalgia and respect to the originator, I took my wife and unfortunately Pat's was not good at all. Maybe if we were very hungry, stoned or drunk it would justify a visit, but even then I'm not sure it would satisfy. We ordered what they recommended, a cheese steak with onions and wiz. Compared to what we had earlier that day, which was Uncle Gus' at Reading Terminal Market, this sandwich paled in comparison. There's no need to ever come back here.
