We parked in their lot and entered by that entrance on a rainy day. Down a few steps to the cashier, seat yourself. A member of staff showed up quickly with menus and we asked for water as we had been on the road and never seem to drink enough water when we travel. The menu had a selection of entree salads and we both chose one. The produce was fresh, plenty of protien on there and tasty. I chose the house made ranch dressing and it's a tasty buttermilk recipe I definitely recommend. We asked for the check and went to the cashier to pay. No one rushed us out the door. Definitely the type of place you can stay awhile. Restrooms are clean, the staff are all very nice. Food quality is good and our meal tasty. Would return if we find ourselves in the area again.

They have the usual suspects: Chopped Pork, Brisket, Pulled Pork & Sausages in sandwiches or plates with 2 sides. I got the 2 meat plate ($21) with sliced chunks of Brisket which was very good & the chopped pork which was also good. Wifey got the brisket as well and our 3rd wheel had the brisket burnt ends which she loved. My sides of Mac & cheese was excellent & the coleslaw was fine. Seating is both available indoors at picnic tables or outside as well. Overall a very pleasant experience and worth trying if you're in the area.

We arrived together in time and were promptly seared in a private room. So far, so good. From there the service became glacial. The meals we ordered arrived after 8:00 PM and the checks after 9:00 PM. Two and a half hours involuntary incarceration Is just too long. The three young ladies serving our tables were gracious, industrious, and determined to treat us well. Admittedly, the main saloon was also packed with raucous inebriants wanting food and drink.
