My new favorite I Brevard County. Went on a Friday and they were packed, so we sat in the wine cellar. Comfortable decor and felt like family. Jess started with lobster bisque and loved the chunks of lobster. I had the wedge salad and it was perfect. We shared the lobster Mac and cheese and that was the star of the dinner. Absolutely delicious. A must try!! Dinner was excellent, although we were both pretty full. Jess had veal franchaise and I had chicken parm(of course). Both were excellent. We dined as a party of 6. We were Putin a rounded booth but the seating was still very tight. Not all of us could open our menus. Bread and oil was delicious. I got the lobster ravioli and enjoyed it, however, some other party members complained that their noodles were significantly overcooked. The mozzarella sticks as an appetizer were pretty good. 3/5, however the mariners dipping sauce was a bit bland. Our waitress was fine at best. We have been to dinner here with family and friends a few times and the service is amazing and the food is authentic and delicious. The ambiance and lighting is cozy and romantic (but still enough light to view the menus!) every dish we have tried has been fantastic - from bolognese to classic chicken Parmesan and penne ala vodka. The bruschetta is to die for - so herbaceous and the perfect portion for 4. They have a bakery, wine cellar (with exclusive wines) and cafe, so plenty of seating for whatever your vibe may be. The lighting is not great, the feng-shui is poor, there were 2 servers and we got the one that seemed rather miserable (not mean, just felt like she wished she wasn't working there [today?]) Prices were very high for what we got. Don't order milk for your kid; they'll give you a large glass but charge you for a whole gallon as if it were organic. Small pizza the price of a large and upward from there. Simple coffee pretty good with actual half and half cuplets, fine. Just whatever. Felt like I could have gone to any average restaurant or made it at home. I don't really get what people are so excited/about this place to rate it so highly on Google reviews but the Yelp reviews tend to be more on-point for some unknown reason so I always start my reviews with those, now. The other waitress seemed warmer and friendlier, kinda wish we got her instead. This place- you are charging too much. If you want to charge this much, please fix your layout, lighting, make the food a little fancier like some garnish or something, maybe make it so I don't have to wipe crumbs off my seat when I come in, stock some kids cups, don't charge me a gallon of organic milk price for a kids cup of milk (just wow), and bring me the bill at some point - waiting forever for the bill seems to be a thing these days, not only here but other places too. People, please- customers do eventually have other places to go, we're not NPCs (lol). I'm pretty patient, but even I have my limit. Meh. ! I don't hate the place, but... This is only our second time here even though we live minutes away. We wanted Italian and didn't want to travel far so we came here early on a Saturday night. I heard that they had call ahead seating so I called ahead (around 4:30-4:45) I was told they wouldn't have any tables until around 7:30. Few minutes later my husband called and they said that they would be able seat us. A little odd, so we went. It's very dark in there. Busy for being there early but some open tables so I'm not sure why we were initially told they were too busy. Salads came out. Just your basic iceberg lettuce which is fine. Comes with the meals. However the lettuce was bad. Iceberg is cheap, at least make sure it is fresh and not spoiled. Anyway, we ordered chicken parm, shrimp Alfredo, veal francese and penne vodka with chicken. For the price, we were disappointed in this meal. Food wasn't bad just very bland and lacked seasoning. I only tasted the Alfredo and the penne vodka with chicken. My daughter's Alfredo had absolutely no flavor at all. The vodka sauce wasn't bad but there wasn't much of it while the chicken parm was drowned in red sauce. The chicken had no flavor whatsoever. Again the food wasn't bad but just not consistent with the price of the meal. Not sure we will be back. Maybe to try the pizza. read more

This place is very dated. The only thing good about it is the twin towers poster and the NY Yankee banner inside. Food was mediocre- had the Chicken Francese and it tasted like nothing. Bread wasn't homemade. No variety. Wait was very long- they don't have enough tables and keep sending people to the Wine Cellar next door. They say they don't take reservations to some people and take reservations for people who called ahead. Make that make sense. Place is not "old Italian" - it's only popular because there is nothing else in the area. Nothing like a NY Italian restaurant. Disappointing. Wont be back. read more

Amici's is one of my Favorites. You have two restaurants on the same property...Amici's Italian Bistro is on a first come/first serve basis (no reservations in other words). Great and authentic Italian Dishes that are always yummy! Then there is the Chef's Table which is higher end & does take reservations. More of a Chophouse environment! Food is always great & service the same! Worth your while to try at least once (because you will go back). Look for their Special Wine Dinners, again, worth the extra $$$ for both the food & dining experience and! read more

My friend and I ate at Amici's on N. Wickham Rd. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious tasting sauce. I had the calimare with linguine and it was very good. Went to dinner with friends last night. Just wasn't a good experience again. We've tried to like this place but this was the last straw. My wife starts with a glass a Cabernet that was served in a completely disgusting glass. We tried to over look that as she brought another one. Both glasses were very weak pours. Upon getting our salads my wife's first bite she has a very large piece of hair. Told our waitress again. She brought another. But where's the manager. Where's the owner. Just piss poor. Clams were very light on the seasoning. Beef tip special was over cooked and chewy. The time before this I went and order the chicken parm. It came out ice cold. Told the bartender and they stuck it in the microwave to warm it up. Gross. Didn't see a manager that time either. Over priced drinks. Weak pours. Mediocre food. No wonder they weren't near as busy. **Restaurant Review: Amici's** I recently dined at Amici's, an Italian restaurant that I have frequented numerous times and that comes highly recommended for its ambiance, food and service. While all of my dining experiences have had their highlights, there always are a few disappointments that I have always experienced and that I finally feel are worth mentioning, if only to let them know. **Service:** The standout feature of Amici's is undoubtedly the service. From the moment we walked in, the staff was attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Our server was friendly , attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our meal. **Food:** Now, onto the food - and I know Italian food. While the service was excellent, the food was rather average. The pasta dishes we ordered were decent but lacked the depth of flavor that one might expect from a traditional Italian restaurant. They were well-prepared but didn't leave a lasting impression and somewhat lacking in all of the wonderful Italian herbs and seasonings that Italian food is known for and that sets Italian food apart from other culinary experiences.The meatballs especially for example, ordered ala cart, while of ample size, are sufficiently bland and devoid of any memorable taste or seasoning to make them stand out as a signature dish despite being drenched in red sauce. A little Parmesan or pecorino included in the meat would go a long way to help making them a memorable dish. It's that easy, just ask my Italian Aunt. **Salad:** Unfortunately, the salad was a significant letdown. It was bland and uninspired, with normal greens and a dressing that seemed to be an uninspired afterthought. For an Italian restaurant, I expected a fresh and vibrant salad, but this one missed the mark entirely. **Drinks:** As for the mixed drinks, they were quite expensive, and the pours were disappointingly small. For the price, I anticipated a more generous serving, which left me feeling a bit shortchanged being served a drink only 2/3 full. While the bourbon cocktails were tasty, the value just wasn't there. **Overall:** In summary, Amici's has a lot to offer and I have enjoyed some nice meal experiences, especially with its fantastic service. However, the food, particularly the salad, and the small pours on drinks detracted from the overall experience. If you're looking for a place with great service and a pleasant atmosphere, it might be worth a visit, but don't expect culinary fireworks. This place is amazing , we ate here tonight for our 36th anniversary and the waiter Joe was amazing. Stayed on top of our drinks very pleasant and everyone around us was very friendly. The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion and our food was on point. I had the Chicken Parmesan and shrimp cocktail and it was very flavorful. Definitely got a 5 star service tonight and the food was for sure a 9 out of 10. we will be returning here soon. I stopped by while in town for work. I only had time for a quick bowl of pasta fagioli soup. The staff weee friendly. My soup came out very quick. It was very good as well... I went to Amici's upscale traditional Italian section of the plaza. There is a steak house version for dining next door . There is also a separate Italian Bakery in the same plaza. It is all side by side. I will definitely be back for a sit down dinner after visiting the zoo which is very close by... Worth a look... go check them out.... read more

I am extremely disappointed with my last visit to Amici's. But this last time after conversing with the owner, I will never return. While the service was excellent, the portion of simple pasta I received for a $15 price tag at lunch, was barely enough to consider a kids meal. I'm not a big eater, but it was gone in nine bites. Even the waitress commented she was very surprised at how small the portion was. After all, it was about $.25 worth of pasta noodles with some sauce on it. The owner came by and said that they measure out the portion. Obviously somebody got something wrong. You would think for an extra $.25 worth of noodles, he could put a portion on the table that at least looked more than an appetizer version. Very disappointed. Especially considering his main competitor in the same plaza provides a huge bowl of pasta for the same price and frankly is every bit as good if not better than Amici's. read more

My family and I have been coming here for years. This review is long overdue. I can't put into words how much we enjoy this restaurant. It is authentic, and it is absolutely phenomenal. This is a very nice, sit-down restaurant with a beautiful interior and welcoming staff. The owners are present and take pride in their restaurant. I've only met them a few times, but they are present often. It's evident they care about their customer's experience. Our county is a better place because of this establishment. I regularly bring guests here from out of town. They do not currently have sweet tea, which we love LOL but the servers are kind to bring us simple syrup when we ask for it. Thank you guys for that!! Today, Anne was our server and she is always personable, pleasant and professional. Joey has also been our server on numerous occasions and is excellent as well! They have a great team here. * The tomato bruschetta is delicious. * The calzones are terrific. * The grilled chicken is amazing. You can tell the chicken is high-quality and sautéed to perfection. * The Alfredo sauce is my favorite. They have light jazz music playing in the background, which is pleasant. There are many more things I could say about this restaurant from the great food to the beautiful interior and high back booths. We love the corner booth which I call the mafia booth LOL. The bar is full often. It looks like a cool place to hang out and I don't even drink alcohol ha ha. It's always busy at night and on the weekends during peak hours. We love to come here for lunch during the day. I also have staff meetings here with my team. If you want great Italian food, get here as fast as you can! My husband and I recently met up with his unit and uncle at Amici's, none of us having been there before. Overall, the experience was quite pleasant -- we were seated right away (note: we'd called to get on their call-ahead list), the host was friendly and welcoming, our waitress was warm and made great appetizer recommendations, their wine list was impressive, and the food was tasty...well, at least for the most part. While my husband and the other two members of our party enjoyed their entrees, my experience with my entree was less than great. I excitedly ordered the carbonara (without meat as I'm vegetarian) and, although the menu didn't mention onions, it came absolutely drenched in onions, which I can't have. When I brought this to our waitress' attention, she told me that the dish doesn't come with onions so I tilted my plate to give her a good luck and she noticed the onions right away. In its place, I opted simply for spaghetti and marinara because, sadly, my appetite had been quelled by the onions. The spaghetti/marinara was lackluster overall -- not bad, not great. Just ok. The ceasar salad which came before our meal was pretty good but the Veal Parmigiana was not well battered, much more soggy than crispy. Very disappointing! The spaghetti and sauce was ok but it was the special side of Italian sausage which saved the day. The Chicken Marsala was an absolute joke. They make it with red sauce not the traditional brown and mushrooms were almost non existant. A total fail. The chicken in the Chicken Francaise was expertly cooked. The sauce though was absent of any flavor at all. The blandest Chicken Francaise sauce I've tasted to date. A very sad dish. For a place that boasts a bakery you would expect dessert to be amazing. Well the limoncello cake was good but by far not the best I have tasted. Seemed kinda like ha hem... let's offer a cake. A four star place this is not. In the stretch from wickham and pineda all the way to 95 there are four Italian restaurants. Judging on food alone Carrabba's is the worst. The best in the suntree area is Bella Luna followed by Tuscany Grill then Amicis. Maybe Mr. Amici needs to come back and start cooking again. I am really disappointed having to write this review. My family has dined at both Amici's and the Chef's Table. The food was good and we had good experiences, up until our last visit. We were overcharged on our bill and did not find this out until we got home. We reached out to get this resolved and never received a response. Nothing. When we finally gave up, we filed a complaint with the BBB. They never responded to them either. That is very disappointing because we were regulars and strongly believe in supporting local businesses. Unfortunately, Amici's does not care and has now lost a customer. If you choose to continue to dine there, I would strongly encourage you to pay attention to your receipt and audit it before you leave to avoid our mistake. If you choose to pay by credit card (like most people), expect to pay a fee for that, too. read more

Having not had great luck with food here in Melbourne, an acquaintance recommended Amici's. Let me just say I WAS NOT READY for all this place had in store! We ordered chicken parmigiana and chicken piccata to go. The marinara sauce is AMAZEBALLS and the cream lemon sauce on the chicken piccata was insane with flavor. I only gave it 4 stars because there wasn't enough chicken on either entree. But what really made this a great experience are the personnel.
