Both drinks were on point, my mojito was classic mint just the way I like it, Havana club rum, sugary and refreshing. The martini was well above average with 3 extra olives. The star of the show was the cod croquettes, made with a delicious creamy cod filling, with a red pepper aioli sauce that put an explosion of flavor in our mouths! If it wasn't for us tapa hopping and trying to eat our way through Barcelona we would have ordered more but it was extremely delicious.

We would set a price that we were willing to spend for dinner per person and the restaurant will provide us with tapas that equals up to the price. We decided on 70 euro each which gave us a grand total of around 15 tapa dishes. This was a lot of food and you bet we were stuffed by the end of the meal! Everything was so delicious, the meat and seafood were all excellent quality. Standout tapas include the sea urchin, grilled razor clams, Russian salad, Iberian ham, tomato bread, foie gras, pork jowl sandwiches and mackerel. Overall, it was an amazing start to our stay in Barcelona and a definite food highlight. The young lady waitperson was so friendly and we laughed as we tried to communicate with each other (she with no English and me with no Spanish). After we were stuffed to the gills, she brought us a complimentary plate of 4 pieces of olive oil cake and two glasses of a very tart brightly colored yellow liqueur that my friend said had a definite kick. When I told our waitperson that I don't drink alcohol, she brought me a glass of the same fruity base liquid sans the alcohol, which I found to be very tart and very pleasing on the palate! When I finished it, the young lady offered me more, but there was no way for me to fit anything else into my completely full satisfied belly! This place might look touristy with the menu posted at the door and its plastic covered menu inside, but the food and staff are wonderful.
