Lolitas' paella is probably one of the yummiest ones I've ever had. It has the perfect amount of seafood, the size is quite good, and if you let it set for 5 minutes more or less so the rice can settle, you'll be able to enjoy a delicious paella. Or at least I did! Although if I'm not giving it a full on 5 star rank it's because I know of some friends that also went there yet their experience was nothing like mine: the food came late and it wasn't at all what they ordered, they said it only had like 1 shrimp or something and no other seafood, and also that the service was very rude and careless, so my final thoughts on this restaurant are that I'll have to visit it one more time to have a definitive opinion about it. Would I repeat?: Yes. With doubts, but yes. My experience was very nice and the food was very good so I would personally repeat.

This was a perfect stop for our 500th snack of the day, right after strolling the beach of Barceloneta. We snagged an outdoor seat with views of the marina and boulevard. We ordered tea, and a crab and pineapple montadito, and an order of the patatas bravas. The montadito was good but a little bland, but the patatas were excellent! They were crispy and flavourful, served with a side of garlic mayo. The location was perfect, and the umbrellas shielded us from the sun but let a few rays in so we weren't chilly. We were expecting a higher bill based on the location, but the menu prices pleasantly surprised us. Take a break from exploring Barceloneta and stop by Lolita!

Hair in my salad. Yuck! I also sent back my beer because the glass had lipstick stain on it and I wasn't wearing anything on my lips.

Hair in my salad. Lipstick stain on my beer glass. This place seems to not clean well. Food was ok. We ordered croquettes, mini burger, patatas bravas, and a Cesar salad. On the plus side, The server was really nice and provided good service. He spoke English which is great although I speak Spanish and would have been able to communicate either way.

Be sure to grab a Cava Sangria (or two) and enjoy the outdoor seating. Foot was great, and came to the table quickly. Very comfortable.

Very flavorful and fast experience. Oxtail and mashed potatoes 10/10: the oxtail meet is so tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes pair so well with the oxtail. Mushroom, steak, and egg yolk 9/10: soo flavorful and balance of veggies and protein. Amazing textures and flavors. Sparkling sangria: 8/10 I don't normally live the taste of alcohol but this was great. Not tooooo strong and if tastes pretty good if you mix it with the orange juice. Fresh orange juice: 10/10 so tangy and delicious. I can't recommend it enough. Patatas bravas: 9/10 solid no complaints! Dessert Tapas: - bread dessert (Tarija): 11/10 amazing dessert that is creamy, cameralized, and has a mochi like texture. This fried chewy dessert is not too sweet and such an affordable price. - coconut pudding 9/10 solid and refreshing if you like flan - bread, chocolate oil, salt 7/10: I live the complex flavors. The chocolate mousse was light and the bread to mousse ratio was perfect. It's a smaller dessert tho I wouldn't recommend it if ur sharing. Service: amazing! Staff I'm everywhere so it was very easy to order more food. Also we were sitting buy the area where they made dessert and they allowed me to record them making it!! The feta cheese was absolutely disgusting, it tasted like imitation rubber cheese. - The "Al Ajillo" Style Shrimps (GAMBES AMB ALLADA) had a very strange flavor within it, which overwhelmed the garlic flavors. - The Beef Tenderloin (FILET VEDELLA), she had to spit 1/4 of it out because it was too tough. - Everything was overpriced there for the value. If you are in the area DO NOT waste your time nor money dining here!!!

Thank goodness we had a reservation, otherwise the wait time for walk-ins was quoted to be 2-3 hours. We were seated at the counter, smack-dab in the middle of all the action. The drinks were just okay, but the tapas were great! We tried the anchovy dish, jamon, tomato toast, paella, padron peppers, spanish omelette, mussels, and finished with the crema catalana for dessert. All of the dishes were outstanding and they did not disappoint. Service was phenomenal and they were all very friendly and engaging with diners. They guided us on how many plates to order and stopped us from ordering too much, which I appreciate since we weren't sure how big each portion was. Would definitely come back if I had the chance!

Be careful ladies! The street outside this resturant is not safe in my estimation. I mean my beautiful daughter did get chased by "a newer uninvited resident." Inside? The best resturant in the city. Maybe in all of Spain. I could make a case for it to be THE BEST RESTURANT ON EARTH. (Except that title goes to Commanders Palace in New Orleans or Caviar Kaspia in Paris. But maybe not.) Great service. Great food. Great feeling place. Drawbacks? The neighborhood. The entrance to get in is AWFUL. The place is always too crowded and it can get very loud. It's about a 6 minute taxi ride from there. We were seated in the back room with the writing covering the walls. The front bar seemed a little livelier but we took what was offered. Husband had house red wine (3.50 euros) and I had sangria (4.50 euros). Good pours for both. We started with the red shrimp (gambillos) in a lemongrass sauce, about 6 shrimp for 15 euros. Then grilled octopus (which was very tender) over mash potatos and snap peas for 15 euros. We also had a side of grilled bread (4 pieces) for 3.5. We also ordered the Pepita beef with mash potato but took home for dinner as we were full (18 euros). We finished with the homemade corn ice cream with carmelized popcorn and raspberries, which was very unique at 6.5. We added our names to the wall to top off the meal. Service was quick and friendly.
