My flight was delayed so I decided to get dinner and a drink…read more Stopped by Braxtons and looked at their menu. Went across the hall to the other place and their menu was worse and the service there was NOT friendly, so I went back to Braxtons. I sat at the bar next to some randoms, who were very nice and we chatted for a few hours while we all waited for the same delayed flight. The bartenders were awesome. They were helpful and funny. This is a family owned place, so while the place across closed promptly at 8, this place allowed us to sit outside the restaurant after 8 and still get served! I had one of their beers- a local sour, cherry, very good. I also had their veggie bowl with beef on it. It was delicious. Then I had a fantastic Bloody Mary. They served it to me with a lime and a big olive, and I got it spicy. My neighbor had a super strong margarita. She also has the chips and salsa which she said the salsa was super hot. I did not verify. The kitchen closes early, which is a shame. But the bar and the shenanigans are open longer. They even gave us plastic cups with lids so we could take our drinks to our gate if we had to leave before finishing them. Great service. Great food. Great drinks. Family owned. No airport rules. Gotta love that.

You'll find this Braxton's in terminal A around gates A15 & A14. Flat screen T.V.s dot the walls playing the days various sporting events. The server was attentive and quick to bring my Braxton Garage Beer, light lager - very cold and hit the spot. I opted for the Whiskey Row taco, $6, in a flour tortilla, stout braised pork belly, cheese blend, bourbon glaze and a garnish of chopped cilantro. I really enjoyed the tender pork belly, but the bourbon glaze was too sweet for my taste. The cilantro looked as if it had been sitting out since opening and looked tired and a bit dried out. I'd certainly stop at this watering hole if passing through this airport again!

I came prepared knowing the MLB lineups, the menu, and the evenings basketball picks. I arrived just a little after one with the intentions of the Yankee game but, Ohio seemed to cover as a home advantage. My order consisted of nothing crazy. A (22oz) tall boy, Fried pickles, 12ct wings and a double baked potato. I mean, "I was ready!" I had noticed a miner lag for my first beer and pickle appetizers. Later I was informed that the apologies were dear and that she was undertaking a hit and low on hands. Ones service can make or break a review so, be patient. All and all, I drunk three beers and a Long Island totaling me out at roughly eighty dollars. Not too bad for a morning of baseball and beer.

Everything comes out hot and fresh, which makes a big difference. Of course, Twin Peaks is known for its ice-cold beer, and they live up to that reputation. If you're a beer fan, you'll appreciate the variety and just how cold it's served. Service can vary depending on how busy it is, but overall it's usually friendly and attentive, even during peak hours. When it's packed for a big game, expect a little bit of a wait but that's part of the experience.
