Loved this place! We tried all 3 potatoes the chorizo was the favorite by far. Their salsa for the potato is really good and definitely elevates it. My only tiny complaint is I wish the potato skin tasted better. This is a must try good food and good service. read more

So good!!! Recently found this food truck and I'm obsessed. It's so good. We tried the carne asada and chorizo potato bowls and while both are good, chorizo is my favorite because it just has more flavor and just amazing. Carne asada is still good just not as much flavor. Also recommend getting them with corn. Their corn is so good. Only drawback is hours and locations. It's a food truck so they always moving around and not always in the same spot. Sometimes they are in a swap meet, sometimes in an office park, and sometimes in Perris. So make sure you follow them on instagram to find out where they are at that day, you won't regret it, food is so good. read more

Corona location. Corn was ready 25 mins after we received our potato orders. Just canned corn. Bacon bits are the same bagged ones we buy from Costco. Really looked forward to this place but was disappointed. If items are not ready then let us know so we can move on. read more

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I've been looking forward for the day I get to try this Papas after seeing so many great videos on IG, last night after a long day at work I drove by their food truck by downtown Riverside and I was super happy to have found them by pure luck lol well that happiness lasted only till I saw my food and took the first bit of the asada papa I got, they take your order fast but then when it's time to pick up your order they don't call out your number so you have to be standing by the window guessing which one is your order, when I saw 2 people that order before me getting their big orders I went up to the window and asked if my single order was ready and the "cook" was like o yeah ,so it was just sitting there getting cold and that's exactly what I got ,a cold papa with barely any toppings, they are cheap on the amount of sour cream, cheese,chives and meat they give you for a $13 dollar potato, but the worst was the meat I got which was supposed to be asada and it looked more like bacon lol meat was probably seating in the steam table for a long time, it was old, dry like bacon and of course really overcooked almost burned! It was just bad bad bad all around! I understand when you hire young people to work but you need to have someone with food experience checking on the quality of food you are serving, which is the biggest mistake with Hispanic own business, most don't care about customer service and quality of their food, this is why most small businesses are here really popular today and gone tomorrow, don't sell anything you won't eat yourself! Well, I don't know how someone can mess up something as simple as a baked potato, but El Guero sure did! The service has been great thus far, beware depending on the time you go, I've heard there is a line, but I have yet to experience it, thank goodness. I will continue to be a customer! Went to the location at a swap meet in Westminster. Potatoes were cold, asada was over cooked and wait was long. Staff was super helpful with explaining what was available. Rim chamoy is DELICIOUS!!!! The pineapple agua was a bit to sweet but tasty. Don't forget to have change to get in or the window lady for the swap meet will get you . Their food is great, but their service sucks. I have been to their truck several times and never had a problem until today. As always, I look to see if they will be at a location near me. I drove 30 mins in traffic to get to a location that they said they were going to be at a certain time. I got there after that time just to be told that they will not be ready for 30-40 minutes. I left a comment stating this on their IG. Nothing mentioned was negative or rude. I was blocked by them for my comment, which is very unprofessional. I love to support small vendors and businesses on the rise. I will no longer support them or tell anyone about them ever again. As a business, you should welcome feedback to better serve your customers, maybe even better your business. As I come from an HR background, we are taught that we are to listen and treat our employees and clients with respect. If this is how you treat paying customers trying to support you, maybe you should take courses on business ethics. read more
