I felt very uncomfortable in this establishment. Workers behind the counter stared at me and my boyfriend the entire time we waited for our food. When we left to walk to our car, we saw them aggressively gesturing toward us. Not sure what that was about but it made me very uncomfortable. Just moved to Allen Park and have had Papa's Pizza probably four times and I can say they do a nice job. Pizza is good, bread is good, and the chicken tenders are good and a really good value. Staff is friendly and when they say it will be done in 20 minutes it's done in 20 minutes. Is it the best pizza I've had in my life? No. But it's consistently very good which is more important to me. Our family is a big fan of the pizza here. I usually order a pizza and cheesebread and we have always been pleased. My husband is especially pleased with their rib tip dinner. We used to order them from another establishment in Lincoln Park (I'm sure you know the place ;) lol) but after trying Papas rib tips, my husband would prefer them every time. Just started a new job and one night we were working late and were hungry so we used Grubhub to find somewhere that delivered aside from the usual pizza joints. Everyone enjoyed the food said they would order again from Papa's pizza. I ordered the lasagna, Mac n cheese bites and cheesecake (did I mention we were starving!) great value for the money all of that for under $20 (not including delivery fee) the lasagna comes with breadsticks and a side salad. Generous portions I had more than enough to bring leftovers for lunch the following days. This will be my go to place! Horrible customer service!!!! They supposedly delivered our food to the wrong address. I want to that address and no one was home. No lights on or cars in the drive way. Papa's would not remake our order and send it to us or even let us pick it up. The second Manager I spoke to was very rude. Would never order from them again. I must say I don't understand all the bad reviews. I have ordered from here twice, and I have been please both times. Each time the food was freshly cooked, hot, and tasted good. It was also timely, even today after a heavy snowfall yesterday and likely being busy because of the football playoffs, the food was only a couple of minutes later than I was told and the driver was polite and very apologetic. Fresh lettuce, lots of meat and cheese, enough dressing and delivered promptly. I also got fried mushrooms and mac & cheese bites. Papas. Oh how we love thee. Seriously. A short ode to you... Your pizza is fantastic. You have all the classics. Lasagna, bread sticks, onion rings, salads and shrimp baskets. When we are really hungry and we have the money, your pizza man delivers and we eat 'til its not funny. (Yes, if it sounds familiar, I did sub the words to the tootsie roll song ... aww come on! I thought it was cute. Did it at least make you hungry? .... Okay .... tough crowd!!! Let's continue shall we?) The pizza is wonderful. My husband always orders the A-1 steak pizza. A-1... on pizza? Yes, you read that right. My kids have eaten just about everything except the ribs. I always go for the Antipasto salad, and it is HUGE!!!!! Honestly. 3 meals for me easy. And its great because they put the dressing on the side. They always have super fantastic deals/coupons, either from their website or flyers. And if you happen to have a coupon from them and its old, they will still honor it. We never go to any other pizza place. Ever. They are just that good. And the service is great. I have had to call them back after our food was delivered twice however, because they had forgotten something. But they always make up for it.
