Great pizza and the nicest staff . Walked in and asked the guy making pizza if I could bring in my dog . It's 102 outside . Not only did he say yes he came to check on him several times and brought him 2 bowls of water and a lid for a to go container . Someone else gave him a pepperoni.. Now for the pizza . Great crust perfect sauce .

Here is my pepperoni and sausage pizza. Not impressed for $20plus bucks. I called and there was not much concern for the lack impression. I should have ordered from Little Ceasers or anywhere else. Been wanting to try for a while but will not return. Best of luck with this pizza!

I'm a little conflicted on what to rate this restaurant. But I will give it 4 for great customer service. The food was okay to me. My guest ordered the chicken parmesan he didn't like it and neither did I...the chicken had a strange texture and the spaghetti lacked seasoning. I had the lasagna, which was slightly better but still felt like it was missing something from it. The chicken wing dings were the star and were absolutely delicious and was the salad. Overall I would come back because the staff were very friendly and kind. I would just try something different. read more

It has been way too long since I last visited! That will be rectified because my pizza was outstanding! Best pizza that I have had in a very long time which is no surprise since this family has been making pizza and other Italian dishes since 1957! We enjoyed a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza and some chicken parmesan. All outstanding! Will be visiting again soon! read more

Everything about this wonderful restaurant is a strong 10 !!! Seriously. Service is always special- like you are their family. The Pizza is beyond belief ! Yummy thin crust if you prefer.... My consistent go to pizza place, especially for dine in. Lee and his family are such awesome hosts, service & cleanliness are always spot on. Full bar service and several big screens to catch local sports. Pizzas are always very tasty, the sauce is NOT sweet, very important to me. Pasta dishes are decent size, and don't forget the anti pasta salad, both excellent as well. Everything is competitively priced. Don't miss this place as it's tucked away upstairs in the Zodiac Racket Club. Will always return, and highly recommend! read more

Great pizza, oversized compared to competition. Price is on par, yet not accurate on their website. Pizza menu does not accurately describe items included on specialty pizzas. I ordered an extra large, extra special and it came covered in tomatoes. I hate tomatoes. I had to give the pizza away. To be fair, you can say I should have asked. read more

I have been to this place a couple of times, but have never been disappointed. I think they have some of the best pizza downriver. They also have great customer service. The place has family sitting where it looks cozy to dine in. I have not yet. I finally got up the nerve to try the sauekraut pizza. Boy was it good and different. I would def get it again. There is a couple more I would like to try too. Can't wait to order again. read more

For Italian food, not just pizza but pasta and everything else this is the place to go. Forget the chain places, this place is the best in downriver hands down. The family is fantastic, very friendly and always greet me with a hello. If your new to the area dont be scared off that it's upstairs at a racquetball place just open up the door and walk up stairs, you wont be sorry. I promise. read more

Recently in the area and decided to try Foggia's after reading reviews. Googled the directions and arrived at a building that I wasn't even sure what it was. It looked like an old two story office building. No sign in front of the building...but there's a sign on the street. I had my family with me, and had to go in first to see if there was a pizza parlor there. I did see people going in but they were dressed in workout clothes. Well, this happens to be a gym and a pizza parlor. LOL! The second floor of the building is where the pizza parlor is. Looks like racquetball and basketball courts on the other side of the floor, too. The seating is self serve. Just find a table. Service was very good and the pizza was very good. Homemade everything from the looks of it. The lasagna walking by me looked excellent. Lots of regulars coming in from what I could tell. We had pizza. This pizza is not Detroit style thick crust. The crust wasn't thin but they could make thin if you wanted. It was just good crust and crispy. Perfect amount of cheese and toppings...and not overly salty. Definitely wouldv visit this place again! Floor could use some cleaning, as well as the tables...only reason to drop a star. I could add half of a star because this place had very good prices on pizza. Two medium pizzas and drinks were $45. Great value. read more

It's a good place to eat in . Take out or delivery sucks. My pizza always has lots of cheese when you eat in. But delivery they do whatever they want never enough toppings or cheese and for the price they should be able to afford fresh mushrooms instead of that canned crap read more

I finally stopped in, after 2 years of intending to. My two stars is for the old-school ambiance and staff's politeness and attentiveness. It's a good place to escape the hustle & bustle of weekend, and have maybe a side/appetizer and a couple of drinks. I got a pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and onions. I was disappointed. The cheese was a little too thick for my liking and I tasted no flavor. There was nothing distinctive about the sauce, pepperoni or even the onion. read more

The food was amazing and the staff was so bubbly and helpful. This was a great overall dining experience. I've had pizza from all over the area including some of the highest rated and most popular spots and they don't even come close to Foggia's pizza. I enjoy finding hidden gems like this place...a pizza shop in a racquetball club? What? Can't really give 5 stars because I'm a New Yorker to the core, but the pizza they are serving surprised me. Staying in the area for a hockey tournament. Really good pizza, but exceptional service. Decent prices, very happy we tried it. It's located in the 2nd floor of the building which is a racquetball club, entrance isn't marked well outside for the restaurant but we found it. Definitely would visit again read more

Pepperoni Roll ($5) - This is completely different from the pepperoni rolls in all of the various Italian bakeries in the area. Instead of being super bready, this is basically rolled up pizza dough around a bunch of pizza sauce, pepperoni, and cheese. The areas that are more saucy do leak through the crust a bit, so you can expect a small number of soggy spots. The roll is gigantic - almost 12 inch long. Think of the old Costco chicken bake (prior to 2020, not the nasty frozen pre-made ones that they serve now), but as a pizza instead of chicken, bacon, ranch. Such a great deal at only $5 for lunch every day between 11AM to 3PM. Just don't eat this if you're on a diet! It's super greasy, but delicious. The food does take a bit to come out - I called an order in right when they opened and it took 20 minutes. There were also 3 other people waiting for their food in the lobby when I got there. Expected, when everything is made fresh to order. Sportsman's Pizzeria is definitely a great place to visit!

Our waitress approached us, told us the nightly specials and delivered our drinks. We ordered the Calamari appetizer with warm white wine and butter dipping sauce. Excellent and cooked perfectly, steak cut, no rings, yum! We both chose Minestrone soup, very tasty and we also received a bread and butter basket with a cup of marinara sauce. Our dinner came in a timely fashion, I ordered my favorite, Chicken Francese, I ordered garlic mash potatoes instead of pasta. Chicken was fork tender and the lemon butter sauce was light and delicious, mash potatoes were so good, I loved my dinner. Husband ordered Chicken Tosca with pasta and meat sauce, he was very pleased. Our waitress took good care of us! They offer a dessert tray and we took home a delicious piece of cheesecake with fruit inside. Great Anniversary dinner and Vic's made it happen. Give Vic's a try, excellent food, reasonably priced! After being seated, it was all about excellent food, drinks, and service. Vic's menu is really special. You just don't see this kind of authentic Italian food on many menus these days. We started with cocktails. They were a perfect opener. We were served fresh bread as well as garlic bread. Of course, the bread was delicious. All of us ordered Caesar salads, which were also delicious. From the Filet Marsala to a "Pasta Trio" of cannoli, fettuccine Alfredo, and lasagna, all of our entrees were superb. The steaks were cooked to order...and were so tender they could be cut with a butter knife. The dessert tray was amazing. All of us had cannolis. Just like everything else, they were excellent. Vic's will be the first restaurant I visit every time I come back to the Detroit area. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Brian if you're checking it was a couple days ago and as always these day especially with Chinese restaurants it was carry out, and can't remember if there was napkins or not.
