Couple weeks ago a neighbor of mine highly recommend that I try this Pizza, he posted a 5 star review on Google. Let me tell you this 40 year spot blew me away, sure it's a few miles away well worth the drive. I walked in and ordered after readings many reviews around the web. The most heavily loaded Pizza we ever eaten WOW. Got a large Primo Su-Primo Primo's supreme has all items on that are on a Primo's special, plus-hamburger, italian sausage, black olives, tomatoes and mild bell peppers, sitting on top of double dough and loaded with extra cheese and extra sauce. and including these toppings. Primos Special this is a primo's classic! just the right amount of cheese, pepperoni, ham, green peppers, onions, bacon and mushroom. Took about 35 minutes just as told. Ordered 12 pc Broasted Chicken OMG fantastic bigger Chickens than most places, those Chicken Breast n Wings be huge. We looking forward to try a whole lotta the menu, it's loaded with tempting food goodies. Fast friendly service, I truly enjoyed talking with the Pizza guys up front. Haven't been here in years I want to say it used to be Rudy's ? I remember they had a similar broasted chicken as Wishbone years and year ago I think that was Rudy's chicken? I was also told the pizza was good. I ordered a small pepperoni and snack of just white meat broasted chicken. The chicken wasn't how I remember. I remember back in my teen years they had a deal which was 2 slices of pizza and a can of pop for $3 I sure wish they'd bring that back. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza & a small order of loaded fries TO-GO at around 8:20 PM on a Monday. The service was good! I was told it would be around 25-30 minutes for the food to be done and that's almost exactly how long it took! So the reason I'm giving this review 2 stars is because for a "Pizza Place" the pizza was mediocre at best. Which is surprising given all the good reviews.. Also, the ranch has a weird taste to it. So I think it's safe to say from a pizza perspective you can get better. The fries were good! And I'm happy I ordered them because the pizza didn't get eaten. read more

Detroit style Pizza has a lot of similarities to Buffalo pizza, and between the two of them, they're probably the best homemade All-American style pizza cities in the whole world. This was my first ever experience of really good Detroit pizza and I will never forget it. Absolutely spectacular. Pizza in Detroit is something very special. A lot of the locals and definitely out-of-towners don't appreciate just how miraculous it is. Thick, doughy pizza bread with delicious hearty homemade tomato sauce and thick layers of cheese, with greasy-ass pepperoni as the Crown on the King that is Detroit Style on the throne that is delicious dough of the kingdom that is Pizza. The city knows how to pizza, and BC's knows better than most. It is the only city other than Buffalo that I've ever been to with a sky-high standard of local pizza like this. Funnily enough the pizza in Detroit - much like that in Buffalo - is best found south of the city. Morons will tell you that there is no South Detroit and that Journey were wrong, but there really is. It's called Downriver. It's technically Southwest of the downtown, but it's South enough. The Pizza of perfection is specifically in Allen Park. I highly recommend BC Pizza and Bella and Paul's, as well as this place - the Allen Park location of local chain Primo's (probably my joint fave with BC's). I will update this review when I find more great ones, but in general, as long as you're getting it from the small mom-and-pop family places, you're going to be getting some of the best pizza in your life in Detroit. I know people say NYC has the best pizza, and honestly, 4 of the best 5 slices in the country are probably in NYC. But in terms of overall excellence at many of the masses of locally owned spots, nothing comes close to the consistent standards of Buffalo and Detroit. Bear in mind, you may not like this pizza if you are into hipster traditional healthy locally sourced stuff. For that I recommend skipping Detroit and Buffalo completely. Head to Williamsburg and stop hogging Yelp. And if you give birth 1 month before your due date, the best way to get a PREMIE healthy is a steady diet of PRIMO'S. Love PRIMOS! My favorite meal is the Chicken bacon ranch sandwich with broasted potatoes, if you have not had them you are missing out. Generous portion sizes and absolutely delicious. I thought this was my first time ordering from Primo's, but after getting my delivery, my first experience years ago came quickly back to mind. The medium square pizza that I received was barely edible and cold. The wings were a joke. I received 6 puny wingettes that were nothing but rubbery breading with a tiny sliver of meat. It's like they buy the cheapest, salty, pre-breaded frozen wings they can find. I thought that I would support a local small business instead of a chain. Ok,, food wise,, downriver is probably one of the best kept secrets of the pizza kingdom in all of Metro Detroit. Forget about what you know. Proper pizzerias here can definitely destroy all other pizzerias outside of Wayne County. Primos is probably the best representative of the downriver pizza game. All pizza is not created equal. You can definitely tell how much love it goes into the pie just by the first bite alone. Their Primo supreme is just that. The toppings, the cheese and the crust is just sublime. They even give you the option to flavor the crust as well. Surprisingly, this pizza doesn't need condiment help, like pepper flakes, parmesan or garlic powder. It's very tasty just the way it is. Then there's the cheesy bread, which is a totally different world to itself. It's a symphony of blended cheese, crust and house red sauce. Mmmmm!! It's definitely making my mouth water as we speak. I've ordered a pick up, so that as far as I can speak for. The cashier was pretty friendly. He did say hello when I walked in. First, and last, time I used delivery. I ordered pizza and bread that were lukewarm. Caesar salad with extra chicken (not) and croutons (none). I ordered it at 2:40pm and it was delivered at 4pm. First time ordering from Primos. Ordered a XLarge Pizza pepperoni and bacon. To my surprise they have the small pepperonis !!!!. Those are the best pepperonis!!! Old-school , Yes.! Pizza was decent size for an XL. Pretty good taste. The people that work there were very friendly and thanked me for my order. I like when they ring the bell also when you leave a tip. We have been going to Primos since it was still across the street from where they are now. We always used them for graduation parties and showers. The last three times we got chicken there it was not very good. We thought we would give it another try today. We ordered two dinners with two pieces of chicken each. One with all white meat and one with all dark meat. The White meat dinner came with a breast and a wing, the dark meat one came with a leg and a wing(?) The wing isn't considered dark meat but it was fine, I'm ok with that. But, what I'm not ok if is that every piece except the breast was so over cooked that I could hardly bite into it, the skin was so hard and the meat was completely dried out. It wasn't edible at all. So, I ate my fried mushrooms and ranch dressing. The mushrooms were good but the ranch was so acidic that I burnt the back of my throat. We also ordered a grilled chicken bacon wrap and got fried chicken. The person that ordered it is on a special diet and cannot eat fried foods. They didn't at it. We spent over $60 for these meals and couldn't even eat them. I'm very disappointed at how far PRIMOS has fallen. We will be finding another place for our broasted chicken. read more

Primo's catered my son's graduation party. They did such a good job. Friendly and easy to work with. They let us modify the menu a bit. Communicated with us about everything. They set everything up and then came back and broke everything down at the end of the night. And, the best part, the food was delicious!! I heard all night long how delicious everything was! I've been eating here at least once a week for about 3.5 years now. I've tried just about everything on the menu, and it is rarely not up to high standards. On the rare occasion something isn't the way it should be, the owners and staff do everything possible to make it up to you. Prices are amazingly cheap considering the quality of the products. Shitty customer service Ordered my pizza at 5:15. I didn't show up to my house until seven. They told me 30-45min call to talk to the manager to see what was going on. Where is my order that I'm on the phone delivery guy shows up says why did you call? On me. Smelled like weed which is no big deal still tipped him well eight dollars on a $23 order. As the delivery guy walks away, he said it's just a Pizza dickhead didn't have to call on me. So I walked out to confront him. I remember having this pizza when I was younger. I guess at that age I ate anything. This wasn't bad pizza, It just didn't blow me away. I got a large cheese pizza. I did enjoy it, but I didn't love it. I also got the cheese bread. It was OK, but it was very greasy. I also wish there was a little bit more spice on the bread. The owners are very nice people. I appreciate their business. Allen Park is a better place with them. Perhaps I will try this again at another time. read more

We started out with Rudy's Broasted Chicken because we had a "pizza shop". In the years since, this is now our "pizza shop". The people inside are great and treat you like you are family! They have fun with their patrons, remember names and faces and thank you every time. They recently helped me with a small party and for Valentine's Day the delivered some outstanding Heart Pizza's!
