We started with a bottle of Campo dei Sassi Prosecco (extra dry, Treviso) and with pomegranate and orange juice mimosas. The Prosecco was crisp, bubbly, and perfect for brunch--light enough to pair with everything without being too sweet. For the main event, I went for the daily special: Crab Cake Benedict. It was outstanding. Two perfectly poached eggs sat atop a crispy crab cake and thick cut sourdough covered in a rich, glossy hollandaise sauce with capers.
