I just left papaya and leaving this photo here to prove that I am a paying customer. Literally just left the store and I was followed the entire time by A worker who wore a black T-shirt she was short, very full chested, with very short dark hair kind of like a pixie cut, With glitter clear-ish rimmed glasses. Don't know what her name was as they do not wear name tags, but she followed me everywhere in the store and it was so uncomfortable. I don't know if she was profiling me for some particular reason, and I can't obviously confirm if it was racial profiling but it was very blatant and very offensive! It was so obvious that I even made attempts to change direction where I would walk so she could leave me alone but she kept following. I'm so disappointed with her behavior, especially considering I came with The intent to spend money there and I did. After my experience I almost don't even want to go back if I know that she's working there that day, or go back at all. read more

Soo i went to ask if she can charge me and the cashier was like "what" in a rude way. She was on the phone and computer so she told me to go to the next cashier eventho the other cashier had just started to charge someone else. I waited and waited and she was not done charging the lady infront of me. So the girl that was still on the phone waved her arm to go to her and i guess called me over. I didnt know who she was talking too since she was on the phone. She proceded to charge me but still on the phone and taking her sweet as time scanning and folding the clothes with just one hand while she used the other to grab the phone. She was trying to get in touch with home security regarding her home issues. Shes at work not at home. She needs to focus on her job since thats what they pay her for and not be rude to customers having me wait for no reason. Felt like telling her off but tried to avoid ruining her day with me being rude to her. Even my bf said she was being rude and hes one to let things go. But anyways horrible staff. read more

I adore this store. I really do. It never fails me. I have never been in there looking for something and not found what I wanted. Especially jackets. Bomber style, retro, or trendy. The prices are great and its easy to walk in and out with a new outfit. read more

I just went in this store yesterday and i really have a good time coz the lady that helping me is very nice and have a long patience, my daughter being difficult about the clothes that she want to wear but the lady ask her manager for advice, and i was so amaze for the help and service that they given to us specifically that my child is disable, this the first time that somebody help and treated my daughter with smile and respect... One of the worst return policies in the retail industry. Bought a jacket at this store and saw something else better at a different store so I went back to return the jacket I bought just 10 minutes ago and they told me they would not offer any refund even though I just purchased it 10 minutes ago! I would absolutely have given this Papaya 5 stars if I could have ..... I am a loyal customer after all. Love the clothes and they have reasonable prices. Only disadvantage this store had is their supervisor. I don't know her name but she has glasses and wavy type of hair. You would assume she would give great customer service being the supervisor and all but I kid you not. Everytime I go in there she never wants to help me. I'd ask if there were more pink dresses and she is like thats all we have and just walk away without giving suggestions or alternative outfits to pick. I worked at express for years and if someone asks me a question I just don't answer and walk away. She is so rude every time I go in there. Fails to smile and just never offers her assistance nor welcomes her guests. How is she a supervisor? Anyway the other girls are nice and friendly one of them actually helped me pick an outfit.
