The umbrella is housed inside what appears to be a wine bottle. It is a very well-made umbrella, with great quality spokes. There are wonderful colorful designs. I have a royal blue "bottle case" with dogs and cats, love it!! Everyone who sees it LOVES it!! Such a clever umbrella!! And, I bought another in colors of brown, black, cream, with a black/cream houndstooth design. There is a great selection, and no surprise, this item is one of the most popular gift items. I gifted myself! You can too! Who deserves a gift more than you today?! And price points are quite reasonable. Gift yourself!! LOL I also bought 3 hair clips, and I'll be back to buy a few more. The quality is very nice. I used to have very long hair, to my knees, so I'm particular when it comes to hair accessories, I'm looking to make sure the edges on the clip are finished, not rough so that it does not damage my hair. I was so happy to find an assortment of various sized clips. Nice quality. And I didn't have to hunt for them in various drug stores or other specialty shops. Years ago, the best clips were made in Paris, France. These days, you can find nice quality hair clips in various shops. How convenient that I found some good clips here. I'm writing this September 2025, and my best advice for those who may celebrate birthdays, and holidays with fun gifts, visit this shop. If you keep a gift closet , stop in here, for sure. stopped by this neighborhood variety store because i needed batteries. low and behold, the store…read morehad them at a reasonable price. the service was helpful and friendly. this is a small store packed with a variety of houseware, kitchenware, and stuff for the bathroom. didn't really get to explore the store because the batteries are on full display at the checkout counter., but there's a whole lot of stuff here and some packaged food like candy and snacks and bottled soft drinks. decided to purchase from Clinton Variety versus going online or to a big brand store because it's important to support the little guys. definitely will be back here again when i need batteries or what-not. it's a little shop that serves the Lower East Side and its surroundings.

Quest Bookshop was the only place that popped up. The location is perfect for me because it's super close to the train and in the area I work in. This bookstore really specializes in spiritual things but theres a lot of information plastered everywhere I didn't feel too lost. They have a lot of stones and they tell you which each one is meant for. I saw in the back someone reading tarot cards and they also have other events like knowing your enneagram which I thought was pretty cool. I don't know much about this bookstore but I feel like it's such a nice staple in midtown that I can really see myself as a regular.

There was drugstore makeup, toiletries and shower things, video games and electronics, sporting goods, random groceries like the brand new Selena Gomez Oreo cookies that I couldn't leave without. You know. The basic necessities of life. Not everything may be exactly $5 and below but most things are slightly cheaper than you would find at your regular drug store. I'm happy because so many drug stores are closing and there used to be a cheap makeup/toiletries store in the Chelsea area I frequented that recently closed that I loved and this has now filled that void.
