Our server told us that the kitchen was running behind, but our friends were at the table next to us (with a different server) and they ordered when we did and had finished eating before our food even arrived - and I had to go find someone to inquire about it as our server never returned after dropping off drinks. She did apologize and take an item off the bill and hand us a few drink coupons which was appreciated, but the experience had put a damper on our enthusiasm (especially after we told the rest of our party how awesome the place was). I sat at the bar because I was by myself and certainly didn't want to take up an entire couch and leave that for others that may have larger parties. As soon as I sat down my server came to take my order. While I wasn't really planning to eat, once I looked at the menu the Chicken Nachos were calling my name. Even though I am counting calories, I had to order. Man, when they came out they were huge and so so good. You can order the chicken blackened which I did and man it was great. There were two menu items that we inquired about the ingredients and if they were gluten free. The server asked the cook and we were told they were gluten free. Everything else they ordered was marked GF on the menu. Both girls ended up sick and one ended up in the ER with gluten contamination. Staff needs to be better trained. This could end up being a deadly mistake. Think twice if you have food allergies before dining here.
