Since I got…read moremy Traeger few yrs ago, I have been looking for a place to get quality meat whether it's beef, pork, lamb or poultry. Steve who was working Friday night provided answers to every question I had including on recreating the porchetta my in-laws would do every Thanksgiving. I needed to find a butcher who could get me a fresh ham, remove the bone, and remove the fat cap but keep it in tact so I could wrap the pork back in it after seasoning. He said they could do it all but also discussed options if I wanted to do a 6 lb porchetta vs a 20+ pounder. He even gave me a history lesson on the Boston pork butt. I then started with questions on beef short plate ribs and rib roasts and chuck eye. Well after talking about marbling on the long short ribs in the case (not the Littles usually in super markets) I bought two for dinner on Saturday. I smoked them for about 6 hours. They were so tender and delicious. By far much cheaper than most BBQ places that charge $50 per rib. My friend, John, who shops there often picked up a a pot roast for saturday dinner. He said it was like butter. So if you get a chance stop in and pick up some meat or house made hot dogs or sweet and hot italian sausage.

Customers were coming in to pick up their meat orders. The deli area offers a variety of cold and hot sandwiches, salads, sides. Great selection. I ordered a roast beef and Swiss on a hard roll, with coleslaw and horseradish sauce. It was fantastic! The meat was flavorful and plentiful and that homemade slaw added a great little kick. They also have baked breads and goodies. I left with a sourdough bread and a choc chip cookie. There are some tables outside to eat. They also sell unwashed, unrefrigerated chicken eggs from a local farm. So great! I did buy these, but somehow they didn't make it into my bag which I did not discover until I got home, but other than that, service was super friendly and helpful. So refreshing to have quality customer service. The store is well organized, nicely decorated, and extremely clean. I recommend a stop in and I will make a point to return as soon as possible.

The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, with a butcher counter in the front and a buffet filled with traditional dishes that makes it feel like a neighborhood spot where you can stop in for a quick, satisfying meal. The grilled meats were the highlight of my visit. The picanha was tender and flavorful, while the garlic steak, Brazilian sausages, and bacon-wrapped chicken were all cooked over the grill and served fresh. I liked being able to build my own plate with a variety of classic sides, including rice, beans, farofa, fried plantains, and other traditional Brazilian dishes. Everything tasted fresh, and the combination of the buffet with the grilled meats made for a hearty meal. Beyond the prepared food, the market also offers a selection of fresh meat cuts and Brazilian grocery products, making it convenient to pick up ingredients while grabbing lunch. It feels like more than just a restaurant, giving it the atmosphere of a local neighborhood market where people stop by for both meals and everyday shopping. The service was friendly and efficient throughout my visit. The staff quickly served the meats straight from the grill and kept the buffet line moving, even during the lunch rush. Seating is casual and straightforward, making it a great choice for a quick meal rather than a long dining experience. Overall, Minas Carne & Deli is an excellent place for authentic Brazilian comfort food at a reasonable price. The quality of the grilled meats, the variety of traditional sides, and the welcoming atmosphere make it a place I would gladly return to whenever I am craving a satisfying Brazilian meal.

This is an extremely popular blue collar spot in Danbury that became really special to me as a undergrad student and has remained an amazing place. The Pao de queijo is amazing with the right balance of chewiness with a nice crust on the outside. Picanha and beef ribs are also outstanding-- the ribs are incredibly rich, tender and flavorful. The beans are also seasoned to perfection. Hot bar is also really nice and overall you can make a really satisfying, personalized meal for yourself at a reasonable cost. I recommend coming before 9 PM because they start running out of stuff and hot bar looks rough at night. Also definitely give the complimentary spicy peppers in oil a try-- super spicy but delicious.
