On the other hand, sometimes they get backed up and it can take awhile to get your food. For example, last weekend I got my regular cheesesteak and some fries....I watched it move down the assembly line as the guy put the bun in the toaster and then grilled the steak, onions, peppers, etc. But then it sat on the counter right by the lettuce/tomato station because the lady who did that was mopping the entire floor....front and back. So as my sandwich got cold, I watched her finish the front, then roll the mop bucket into the back and finish back there. After that was done, I was happy to see her change gloves and then come and dress the five sandwiches that were backed up at that point. Was waiting five minutes for my sandwich the greatest hardship of my life? Not really, and it was still warm, but a better customer experience would be for the sandwiches to be finished right away and maybe do the mopping later. In any event, the people who work there are nice enough and I do like the food, so perhaps some improved guidance from management on focusing on customers actually waiting for their food would help improve their rating.
