My family has been coming to This location since we've lived here in the SA area since late 2004. We've seen many managers come and go, and the current manager Summer, by far is one of our favorites. (All of the mgmt here is amazing) She is attentive, caring, and pays attention to detail. She is very accommodating. Summer came by our table tonight to address a question we had about the menu. Then she assured me she would let the kitchen know about a shellfish allergy at our table. Being from Management myself, Summer more than, Has what it Takes to be in A Management Position. I can't adequately express just how wonderful of an experience we had with this catering service. We hired them to cater our son's wedding at Gardens at West Green (another amazing experience). We selected the beef and chicken fajitas (yummy as always) and also added the bar service. Every single server bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. Pappas catered our wedding reception at Lost Mission in Spring Branch. I wish there were more stars in the scoring! We had a chicken/beef fajita combo with the avocado bar. And they also took care of our vegetarian guests. And they were there the whole time, bussing tables, serving the champagne to all the guests for toasting, and just all around service. The meal was delicious, and we receive numerous compliments from our guests. Jessica Sanchez and her whole team are amazing! Jessica was my main point of contact throughout planning and with every question (and there were many), she was friendly and meticulous. She advised on what appetizers go best together, what sides go well with the entrees, and what foods guests with dietary restrictions can and cannot have. She took dietary restrictions very seriously, making special plates for guests who needed it and letting me know exactly which appetizers and sauces they could/couldn't have. Delicious food, terrific service! We used Pappas to cater a 50th wedding anniversary party for my parents, and they were excellent. Our guests consistently complimented the food (the crab cakes and quesadillas were particularly scrumptious). Pappas was very easy to work with in terms of setting up the menu; their presentation and service the night of the event was professional, personable, and flexed appropriately to our venue. Pappa's Catering was such a pleasure to work with! The process from the initial tasting at the restaurant to our wedding day was such a breeze. Pappa's worked closely with our venue (Lost Mission) for our wedding day on when and how to set up with little guidance from my husband and I. We did the quesadilla bar during cocktail hour and the fajita buffet for our main course and we got so many compliments on the food and how smoothly the buffet line ran. You could tell this was not Pappa's first rodeo for a buffet line, they got our guests through the line efficiently and quickly! The quesadilla bar was also amazing and highly recommended, our guests absolutely loved it and the quesadillas are made fresh at your venue. Their staff bussed all of our tables throughout the entire night, cleaning off empty glasses, dirty plates, etc. They also there to help with the cake cutting and passing slices out to guests. They even made sure to make my husband and I two huge to go boxes that were waiting for us in our limo, since they realize that the bride and groom may not have time to sit down and eat. They also packed up all the leftover food that was not served throughout the night and sent it home with our families, which was so appreciated by our families!!
