While walking along the Salado Creek Trail, my friend and I had the urge for a treat. We wandered off the trail into Los Patios and found Saladworks. The menu is extensive, and everything is made fresh.

Options at the salad bar.

Saladworks is located on the beautiful and mystic Los Patios grounds. As you walk up to the entrance you're greeted by the beauty of nature and serene decor. Upon entrance you immediately notice the spaciousness inside in addition to the large window view of outdoors. This place is similar to Salata and other salad places. The menu items includes all things salad, salad wraps, soups, coffee drinks, juices and smoothies. For the true introverts you can use the kiosk and place your order and pay so there's no human interaction. For others, you can place your order with the person at the cashier stand. I used the kiosk . You can choose from their standard items or customize your salads to your liking. My order was ready pretty fast and I must say it was pretty good! The employees were helpful and friendly and the vibe was relaxing. Go check out their many options if you're looking for soups and salads.

Very shallow açaí bowl (I added peanut butter to compensate). Can you see the açaí?

Very nice space and location. Customer service is A+. The Açaí bowl size for price was ridiculous. I am an açaí bowl lover. I've had them in few different locations around the city. Unfortunately, the size and portion for the one at this location completely misses the mark. It was a fruit bowl...you will be disappointed with the amount of açaí. It is the serving container, which looks more like a lid. Extremely shallow, so no room for açaí, only fruit. I added peanut butter when I arrived home, to gain some satisfaction. About $11+ (with taxes). Just go to Smoothie King, or RiseUp for a full serving and they're around the same price-point.

Ask the Community - Saladworks

Is this place closed for good? I've been there twice and is closed :(

Unfortunately a gas line was damaged during construction at the entrance and the store is temporarily closed until repairs can be made.

Amazing food the people who work there are always nice and the acai bowls are so bombread more

This review has been overdue. Last month, after an early valentine's lunch, my aunt and uncle went…read moreoff in search of aguas frescas and mangonadas nearby while my cousin and I hunted for a dessert spot that was a little different. that spontaneous search led us to Just Smash'em--and it turned out to be a sweet find. The concept is simple but appealing: fun, unique combinations of sweet treats that lean slightly toward the lighter side. Think açaí bowls, waffles, and snackable options that could easily double as breakfast or a light meal. I ordered the Berry Good Bowl with açaí, oat milk, strawberries, blueberries, banana, pineapple, granola, almonds, and Nutella. In hindsight I could've skipped the banana and granola, but it was still delicious. The fruit tasted fresh, the sweetness was balanced, and the açaí base held up surprisingly well on the drive home. My cousin went for the Belgian waffle with banana and Nutella--the waffle he has been searching for in the first place--and it did night disappoint. Service was warm and patient while we navigated the menu, and we even got to chat briefly with David, the young lady went. He shared that the business started as a food truck before growing into this standalone shop. The nice young ladies at the counter even offered us to take a flower from their vase of pink carnations for the Valentines. It's a cozy spot with a welcoming I've, even with yea small arts-and-crafts area for kids that makes it feel like a neighborhood hangout. A fun kitty dessert stop when you're craving something sweet but a bit different. We'll definitely be back to try more.
