The quality of care is great but if you don't have 6 hours to spend waiting go somewhere else. Even if you have an appointment you wait 4-5 hours. A lady with an appointment waited 6 hours. A lady came as a walk in at 6am and waited until 11am to be seen. I switched to this clinic because my daughter sees the pediatrician Yolanda Zapanta which I absolutely love. She always checks my daughter and listens to my concerns and needs when it comes to my daughter. 10/10 for her. But the other doctor, a guy idk what his name is. He is the worst doctor ever. He never listens to my concerns and needs and just ignores me and says it's anxiety. Anxiety does not cause pain. I have been having muscle pain and a really bad headache for the past 5 months. I wanted to see if he can refer me to go to a specialist to do CT or ultrasounds to see what is going one. I sometimes feel very confused when my head hurts and my muscles hurt I can't move or do nothing a lot but I do because my daughter and husband come first. I went to this doctor for a couple years since I was a teen. The doctors are good people I mean I had like 3 different ones who were respectful and did whatever they can to ensure that my siblings and I were doing well and I really appreciate that. But one time I came here I'll never forget how 1 staff member treated me; she was so rude and nasty to me that I felt very unsafe. She was the lady in the second office (not at the front) but right by where they take your height & blood pressure. She was trying to give me an appointment so I can go back after some results, but with a really bad attitude that had a negative spirit. I don't understand why would anyone hire and consider this staff as "professional" with this kind of behavior. You work with families and children and I think that this environment is unsettling and unsafe. Now I understand days can be tough and chaotic especially during the weekend. But the lack of professionalism gives the place a bad rep. I usually have an appointment when I come and I don't have problems but this review is just as a walk in. My daughter got sick over the weekend so I was a walk in on Monday, they were short on doctors so we were warned the wait would be long. We waited about 2 hours for vitals lucky we had somewhere to sit but others had to stand due to how full it was. After vitals we had to come back to the waiting room and were told we would probably have to wait another hour before being seen by the doctor. We left the clinic to get food and came back to wait another hour until my daughters name was finally called. The doctor we had was great and took their time to ask questions and figure out the best thing for my daughter and the staff were great with her when they drew her blood. I'd give 5 stars for doctor and staff but -2 stars for the wait and being short on doctors. If you are a walk in be ready to wait. read more

We were told the Dr. said my client's vaccines were not valid because they were old and needed to get them again. The cost of the immigration physical was quoted at $880 here . Thankfully my client went to another clinic and got the exam done for $320. The other clinic did not mention any issues with his immunization record from the US since he was a child . Terrible. Worst clinic and medical experience I've ever had to deal with. It's so sad because I switched to health care LA in Lynnwood and was so accustomed to being treated like a chore/race to the next patient I had no idea doctors and nurses actually cares for their clients! At Para Latino I've gone in with and without appointments, always averaging around a 5 hour wait. I remember going in at 11am one day (my off day from work) and not leaving until 7pm. Terrible. I've gone multiple times complaining of throat problems and suspecting I had pcos. There was one doctor who seemed to judge me whenever I had a question and gave me the vibe that she thought I was a know-it-all/hypochondriac bc of how strongly I thought she should consider me as having pcos. The times other doctors gave in and sent me for blood tests it was a wreck. The first time supposedly everything was normal (even tho my current doctor let me know that a normal amt of testosterone in female's is around 45 and I had 350+ :). The next time I did it they lost my blood work (????) so I had to get poked AGAIN. Then they told me "just come back in two weeks, knock on the door and go to the lab it'll be quick". I went about two hours before work just to be safe....I knocked, I asked for the results, and it was about 10min before I had to be at work and still nothing. Terrible. Never went back after that. Now at my new PCP the doctor's and staff actually truly care about your well being. I went in and on the first day my doctor already had my back and sent me for lots of blood tests. The next time I went he had all my results, he went over everything and indeed said that what he also suspected was true, I have pcos+hirsutism. Now I'm on medication and I couldn't feel better. The nurse!!! even cares and actually got me diagnosed with severe depression/mild anxiety. I'm so happy now but man, I hope PLMC improves. Don't look at it as a race but really listen to your patients, and that wait time holy hell. Never again. read more

There was a lady in the waiting room keep going to the receptionist and telling her she had another appointment at 2 at some where else should she be able to make it . EXTREMELY TERRIBLE SERVICE AND WAIT TIME. Wait time is ALWAYS about 3hrs long. I had to get surgery on my hand and needed an authorization from this location and they got the WRONG surgeon so i had to wait an extra week or two just to wait for them to receive and give me the right one. And it happened two more times when one of the doctors said I was in need of physical therapy. After each authorization request, they said they would call me back to notify me that the pick up would be ready, but after three weeks of waiting, I called again and they said the request was barely sent the second week before I called, NOT DURING MY PREVIOUS VISIT. I am rating this place based on several visits. I came here as a referral bc my child needed a letter to participate in a sport. They agreed to write it, and then after that they said MediCal didn't cover it and it would be $60. We paid bc we needed the letter. We've been here several times for check ups. They say they don't take appointments and they say they open at 8am. They never open at 8am. They open the doors around 8:30 and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to how they call people in. Usually we wait until 10:30/11 to be seen, while others who come after us get called in before us. We also had a big confusion with blood results and how to get the results... more waiting, little communication via phone or in person. On the phone they keep hanging up and in person they are not friendly, and keep sending you back to the waiting room because they don't know what you are there for. They also referred us to an office for X-rays that didn't take our insurance (mediCal) and we didn't find out until we got there. I'm not going to come again, and I would not recommend this office unless you want to spend a lot of time waiting to be seen, general confusion, and staff that seems like they don't care, with no real help given at the end of the day. read more
