The previous reviews mention a nasty driver and a nasty "girl." I have only dealt with nice folks there. The woman who answers the phone at the office has always been nice and whenever I have dealt with a driver (a few times because I've run dry and had to have it bled) they were always nice and helpful. We had some technicians come out once to clean our furnace and they were also nice and informative. I've had a lot of bad experiences with other fuel oil businesses, but Check Oil has been a good so far (over a year).

I understand oil prices are increasing but i never would have had this oil delivered if i knew i would be paying $6.949 a gallon. If you go to a restaurant, the prices are on the menu. If you get an oil change they tell you what it will cost. You buy a dozen eggs you know how much you will be paying. It seems like they are intentionally trying to deceive you by not telling you what the cost of their product is. I called to see if they would do something for me and they offered a payment plan and a $.25 reduction per gallon. I also told them to come and pump it out and give me a refund which they would not do. Shame on you Burke for intentionally deceiving your customers. I will not be using them again.
