Golfed 18 holes and the course is in great condition, other than a couple spots that are being reseeded due to winter kill, which is expected in this climate. Beautiful layout with lots of "moguls" on the front 9, along with water hazards, just to keep things interesting. The back 9 is spectacular. Ravines, blind corners, and houses so you do want some course knowledge before heading out. Staff is friendly and helpful. Love the push carts they offer! read more

Only have 1 star because there was no option to go lower. Attended Italian night. Food was awful. Sauce was this, watery tasteless. Pasta on Italian night undercooked and stuck together, reheated. All sauces were the same. Looked and tasted like it came out of a tin. Dessert was lacking inspiration, gelato portions were scimpy as was the anti pasta, made you feel like there wasn't enough to go around. Chicken was dry, soup and entree needed seasoning. Waitress was painful, had to be reminded repeatedly.I never complain but 26.95 for a nasty meal is an insult. read more

This review addresses only the timeshare portion of Paradise Canyon. If you're going for the golf, it's a very good place to play. If you're considering staying in one of the timeshare units, not so much. The good: Very welcoming staff, good food at the restarant, nice pool. The bad: Every expense possible was saved in the construction of the units. Pressed board and painted cabinets, trim strip coming off the bathroom counter, dining table formica-something. There is not even a garbage disposal in the kitchen. When was the last time any dwelling was constructed without a garbage dusposal? That would be sort of ok, except for... The ugly: The beds are something that one would salvage for their first apartment. Springy, noisy, floppy, cheap. If one person is in bed and another turns over, the first person gets jolted awake. The windows are single-pane, so the sun rips through the non-insulated drapes like they are not there. The air-conditioning units is just about adequate to cool a large dog house. So by all means, go play golf and eat at the club house, but beware of the lodging. Maybe search for a local vacation rental. It is a good location to use as a base for exploring Lethbridge. read more

One of the best courses in Southern Alberta. Could use some more trees but it is beautifully maintained and the price is decent.
