Great place to eat in Pullman. Food and service was great. Beautiful, unique building that used to be a post office. Love how the kept the charter of the building.

Sitting down to some beers and a meal at Paradise Creek!

Paradise Creek has been around for quite a while. I haven't ever been to Pullman until recently but as I looked at brewery maps I knew of it's existence for quite a while. The building that the brewery is in is interesting and historic so that's an added bonus. We got seated fairly quickly but the staff seemed overwhelmed and waiting to place our order and receive our food was lengthy but we gave them slack on that since many restaurants are short staffed right now and students were just returning to college here in Pullman. We had two beers and a meal here. Truth be told I wasn't all that impressed with the beer. One beer was J Dub's Northwest Pale Ale and the other was the Artbier IPA. I didn't really feel that either beer was memorable. They were alright but there was nothing distinctive to them to make me want to get them again. I was considering my Yelp review would be three stars for the place... But then our food arrived and that really turned things around. I had a tough time trying to decide what to eat but in the end I got the Turkey Club which was very good and glad that that was my ordering choice. For dessert Steve and I shared their Nanaimo Bar which was pretty great! I'm not sure if I ever had this kind of bar but I was very impressed! As I said before the staff seemed overwhelmed but they were always friendly and hopefully over time that will get turned around. So despite not being too impressed with the beer... thinking that it was just fair the food pushes my overall rating to four stars for Paradise Creek.

Literally the best. I physically cannot stop myself from stuffing myself with the house-made chips. They taste like the song of Idaho.

I enjoyed the restaurant's rustic atmosphere and the friendly staff. The menu had a wide selection, and we ordered and loved: 'Mile high Ruben' and 'Birch classic club tomato with tomato basil soup.' Both sandwiches were tasty, and the portions were generous. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend dining here on your next visit to Pullman.

I came to Pullman because my dog was having surgery and needed to find a restaurant nearby that…read morecould safely accommodate celiac disease for lunch. I called ahead and was specifically told that the restaurant has a gluten-free menu and that all staff are trained in celiac-safe protocols. I ordered a burger with a GF bun and a side Caesar salad, which I understood from the GF menu to be included with my meal. Another member of my party, who also has celiac disease, ordered the soup and salad combo. Our server was made aware of both of our dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, when our food arrived, both salads had croutons on them, making them unsafe for us to eat. The bigger issue was that our server never returned to the table after bringing our food. We were seated on the patio and were the only customers out there the entire time, so we expected she would check back fairly quickly. She never did, which meant we had no opportunity to point out the problem until we had finished the rest of our meals. When she finally returned to clear our plates, she said, "It looks like everything was good!", which was particularly strange given that there were two entire salads still sitting there untouched. I explained that the salads had croutons, and after what seemed like a surprised reaction, she offered to have new ones made. The other member of my party declined because we had already finished the rest of our food and needed to get back to our dog. When she brought my replacement salad to-go with the check, she told us that the manager had decided not to charge us for the salads. The salads were apparently only $1.50 each. I had understood my salad to be included with my meal, and the other salad was part of a soup-and-salad combo, so taking $1.50 off each felt like a very poor attempt at service recovery given the circumstances. I know accidents can happen, and I understand that mistakes are sometimes made. But when a restaurant specifically tells someone with celiac disease that they have trained staff and celiac-safe protocols, finding croutons on both salads is especially concerning. I sat there the whole time wondering if maybe they had GF croutons and debating if I should just eat it. Anyone with celiac knows how exhausting it is to constantly have to double-check food even after being assured that a restaurant can safely accommodate you. What really soured this experience was not simply the mistake, it was the lack of an opportunity to address it promptly because our server never came back to the table, followed by a response that felt dismissive rather than genuinely concerned about what had happened. I appreciate that they ultimately remade my salad and removed $3 from the bill, but given the circumstances, that did not feel like meaningful service recovery. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone who needs truly careful gluten-free accommodations, and I won't be returning.

I have to say it's one of those college bars that has such a unique personality. If you go in, make sure you bring a marker of some sort because you want to leave your mark behind just like everyone else has. Literally the whole place is marked up from the tables to the cups up to the fans. The bathroom doors. We all took part in this tradition and marked areas as well. My daughter ordered a unique drink that came with a picture and an upside down vodka drink. She couldn't finish it but it was quite delicious. They also have some food options if you're hungry. Prices were not bad in the bartender was really nice. This bar is located very close to campus or somewhat on campus. If you're ever in town, you definitely need to visit The Coug.
