I was visiting a friend in Pullman and I'm a sucker for anything huckleberry. They're known for their huckleberry stuffed French toast and it did not disappoint. So good! I like a little bit of savory for breakfast too so I would get a side of bacon and eggs or something next time. The mimosa was a perfect addition also! Service was great! I went during the lunch hour and I was seated right away. But it was definitely packed. Everyone was pleasant. Parking was difficult during this time. This review is just for the cinnamon roll, which I took to-go and reheated in the oven per the instructions. I would pass on it, it was mostly just bread. No doughy gooeyness and very limited cinnamon filling. The frosting was decent though. Sounds like the cinnamon roll pancake would've been a better pick. read more

I was hesitant to try this spot because it was recommended to me by the same people who had recommended S**th F*rk but I'm glad I put my reservations aside and gave this place a try. At first, all I had gotten here was the zucchini French toast which was good but more desserty than I would like for breakfast (that's on me, idk what I was thinking). The long wait was worth it. Grub breakfast options, super friendly service, efficient, once you're seated. They have a good wait system here. The text tells you how many parties are ahead of you and approx. how many more minutes until you're seated. With a 60 min wait, we walked the street and explored the nearby co-op. The wait time was exact. The French toast Benny is different and delicious! Equally impressive was substitutions are welcome and they nailed all of our orders. Impressive! The chimichurri steak skillet breakfast was excellent. Very well balanced in the seasoning and flavors. The potatoes, bell peppers, onions suuteed mushrooms with white cheddar two sunny side eggs was so so delicious. This is part of their summer menu. Coffee biscuit and gravy was great too. Wow. Go here. Our server was so lovely and chipper--Sierra's a real jewel! We came in 30 minutes to closing time, but it was all right, because that's just when they stop seating people. The kitchen time is built into that close time. Phew! Sierra was attentive to us throughout, though I was at first concerned we might not get great service due to when we arrived. Not the case at all! Because of when we arrived, the diners around were mostly leaving, so it got a little quieter than usual for a busy breakfast spot, and I heard a few regulars engaging positively with the servers as they departed. I love hearing those neighborly exchanges, very community oriented. Our family ordered several dishes: the kitchen sink, huckleberry stuffed French toast, the Bavarian omelette, stuffed biscuits and gravy, and a little bowl of fruit. Everything was scrumptious. I definitely recommend the Huckleberry Stuffed French toast: everything you would expect from a sweet French toast plus a not-too-sweet cheesy addition. The Bavarian omelette was soft, not over-cooked at all, and full of perfectly cooked mushrooms and sausage. The locally made sausage was where the magic happened: fragrant flavor and silky texture. The Kitchen Sink skillet is exactly as the name implies--a garden full of flavor! Lovely peppers and veggies and different meats all together atop crunchy and soft hash browns, yum! Wish I could give 2.5 stars. Not a two but not a three so they get the benefit of the doubt. I usually go to Varsity Diner when in town (apparently Jack Jack's now). Decided to try "The Breakfast Club" since they're the "#1 restaurant in Moscow". It was mediocre. The server was pleasant. Chicken fried steak was tasty. I ordered my hash browns "crispy" and they were barely warm. My "over medium" eggs were over hard. The sourdough toast had barely any butter on it. Bottom line, it's breakfast and that's hard to screw up. A little more attention to detail would be nice. I was hungry and in a hurry or I'd have sent it back. read more

I was seated at the espresso bar. The high chair was wobbly and uncomfortable but the place was busy so I didn't ask to move. The eggs Benedict was classically prepared but with thinly sliced ham which I liked better than a thick slab. The eggs were perfect and the sauce was on point. The English muffin was really tough and burnt in spots so I moved it out of the way. The barista was friendly and made sure I was taken care of. Everyone's food looked amazing. Both savory and sweet options on the breakfast menu are well portioned and very indulgent. I would suggest getting one of each and splitting it to taste like I did with my #wife. Did not feel scammed out of my fifteen dollars at all! My stuffed biscuits were a perfect mix of all breakfast foods-eggs, biscuits, hashbrowns, and bacon all topped off with a nice gravy. Heard this was a hotspot in the area. My friend and I came by after running some morning errands. It was a cool indoor spot, nothing too fancy. A nice breakfast/brunch spot! The ambiance and decorations feel very classic diner though with a slight upscale vibe. We came a few minutes before their brunch was closing but they were still seating folks - I think because it was a busy weekend (Idaho homecoming), they were very nice about letting people off the waiting list. Even though it was very busy, our food was taken quickly and arrived quickly. Our waiter also provided some useful recommendations and pointers about food menu items. I ordered the huckleberry french toast and it was very good. I did think the huckleberry jam was a bit sparse - and the portions of the french toast was small. A friend ordered the pancakes and the pancakes were very large. The french toast itself was good but wasn't super filling - I would recommend it only if you want a smaller brunch meal. I don't love the inconsistent portion sizes of the food (large pancakes, smaller french toast) but overall, I thought this place was nice! read more

Solid breakfast joint downtown with local HS and UofI memorabilia on the walls. All the staff seemed to be students and they were all working hard and were very friendly. Wife and I split a Biscuits and Gravy because we had a long drive ahead. Huge portion, so that worked out. I think they have mimosas but we just had good drip coffee. See: the drive. Whenever I'm in Pullman or the Moscow area I make it a point to have a least one breakfast here. It is always busy, but that just means they are doing something right! The staff never fails to make you feel welcome & the food has never disappointed me. On my most recent visit an older gentleman sat at the table behind me, I could tell he was a regular that had not been in for a while. It was impressive to see every staff member walking by take some time to say hello & ask how he was doing. Really great breakfast spot in Moscow. Quick 15-20 minutes from apartment land on WSU campus. Went on a Thursday morning and it was full but got a seat for 3 right away. Daughter tells me on the weekend the line is out the door but they have a "text when ready" system and there are more than a few little shops and coffee shops while you wait for a table. Food was solid. Burrito was packed full of all the good stuff. Daughter's cinnamon roll pancake was exactly that. No need to get more than one since they are super sweet. Wife got the "Cali" sandwich and said it was like a really good veggie sandwich w an added egg. Solid place all around. read more

What happened to this place? First lets start with the over generic menu now. What happened to the beautiful custom design of the last? Hire a designer and do it right. After a few times of going there and having traveled a lot i can say without a doubt they serve the worst tasting coffee and espresso; instead of sourcing local like Kamiak, they use run of the mill bland brand coffee. Service. Could have been a bad day all three times. My guess is lack of training. Whether its touching the tops of glasses or getting drinks after food, and just unpreparedness of person. Just a warning- you will not be seated unless your entire party is there... because I was wondering the fabulous farmer's market and got a text from the SO who was hungry and wanted to be seated. That out of the way. The wait was reasonable on a Saturday morning, about 20 minutes around 9:30. We ordered quickly, drinks arrived pronto. Ordered our meals- a Bavarian omelette for me with GF zucchini huckleberry bread and hash browns. My omelette was FILLED with sausage, Swiss and mushrooms (passed on the onions). Those hash browns were golden crispy deliciousness on BOTH sides. The bread, I needed to taste because it sounded like it had the potential to be soggy/boggy, but pleasantly it was like a quick bread in texture. I won't say it was my favorite thing, flavor wise, but I give them huge props for what they achieved in texture. And a huge shout out to Aubree, our server.
