This office was where I had gone most of my childhood and a few times as an adult. 5 years ago or so I had gotten cavities filled and a root canal capped at this location. They sent me else where to do the root canal. I came in July to had the cap put back in as it had fallen out after flossing. On the morning of my appointment I was strongly urged to come in as spots in earlier time slots were available. I'm dealing with extreme allergies and can't drive on my medication, which is why I chose to stick with my afternoon appointment. This initially threw me off as I had never been asked to come in early so vigorously. As I get into my appointment I was seated and was told I had 2 cavities and that the dentist would only fill in the cavity next to my root canal as it was in the vicinity. Once it got time to do the cap he was about to place the tooth into my mouth without cleaning it, I should have noticed at this point to be more cautious but felt he was professional so I let it be. I had this tooth filed down perfectly when I had it done there previously. I didn't think I'd need much altering but he had to grind the tooth down several times in order for it to feel right. Immediately after my session was done the dentist practically ran out of the office, I assume it was lunch time for him. Which may be the cause for the next series of events. As I got home I felt the tooth and it seemed off to me, I couldn't explain it. I then noticed that the tooth was put on incorrectly, that the doctor just placed the cap in without rotating it to see if it matched the other teeth. The inside of my teeth where the tongue sits are more round while the side of the teeth that meets the cheek are a bit more edgy. I ate soft food for the rest of that day and afterwords. Avoiding all crunchy things as the dentist is a bit nerve wrecking for me, I flossed a week later for the first time and the tooth popped out with the slightest pressure. I then saw how jagged the filing was on my cap when it was not like that previously. I called to let them know of the situation and they are only able to do cavity fillings and cap placements on Tuesdays. I found this very odd and decided to change my dentist office all together. It may be a good office for some but it was a very unfortunate visit for me. I did not have a good experience at Paradise Dental. I went in to have two crowns replaced. They did a root canal, (which was the longest most invasive root canal ive ever had) they placed temporary crowns. And told me the new crowns would be ready in less than two weeks, but almost two weeks into waiting for them, they called me to come in because they needed to make some adjustments to my teeth and remeasure for the crowns again, which did not make sense to me. I patiently waited. Almost two weeks later, they called me to replace the temps with the new crowns. Almost a month went by, and the nerve sensitivity only got worse. I called them, and they had me come back in for a re-check. I was so relieved that the doctor was going to figure out why I had so much sensitivity and would offer help. Well, to my surprise, he completely gaslighted my concerns and my sensitivity complaints. He ran a floss through the affected crown and told me, 'there, you had a piece of food stuck.' I am still in disbelief. He was rude and dismissive and told me to go see a root canal specialist. Mind you, the first thing they did from the beginning was to collect $1,200 in addition to the $7,000 claim they submitted to my Delta insurance. I do not recommend this place. read more

Had to switch dentists after a horrible wisdom teeth removal experience (which ended in me stopping the procedure half way due to pain) and was recommended this place by my mom's coworker. Horrible, service I tried to obtain document to provide to my insurance and they told me that they were unable to do so. No patient should be neglect for written documentation of their own treatment especially if it's to seek treatment that this OFFICE CAN NOT DO ! It's crazy how much the dentist doesn't care about his patient , & wouldn't even explain what we can do to resolve it . He just sent in his nurse to tell me a price & when I asked her if she can explain she just said the dentist says this is the only solution. Hoping the dentist would come back to the room to explain he didn't . I already knew what was wrong and they wasted an hour of my time telling me what I knew without explaining it as a dentist should . Real customer service , because being a dentist is also a business , requires caring for your patients . This is how you lose patients , I wouldn't have been hesitant if I had to pay , but I didn't get a proper explanation and felt like he was just giving me any solution to make some money . They are CROOKS!!! DONT GO! RUN!!! I am a state employee and was assigned here. My benefits are pretty good so i get no charge for major services that can be provided. So they preyed on that and lied saying i had to pay a 500 fee for deep cleaning when my copay was 0 out of pocket for the procedure. They tried to make it seem as if it was the copay at first. Then when i called back and they knew i was calling the insurance company they admitted it was 0 copay and the 500 was for medicine! No where charges that obscene amount. They will try to rush you into quick procedures and charge you the rediculous amounts of money to put money in their pockets! They tild me for a cavity to be filled i jad to pay 160 dollars when the insurance company said its 100 percent 0 copay. They are crooks. I wont be back and they just lost loyal customers of a family of 4. They are pathetic and greedy and if i could give a 0 star i would. read more

Total Shysters! Aside from the fact that they charge $42 more than anybody else in the area for an oral exam, they did a very fancy wraparound Xray of my mouth. However, the physical exam was not real comfortable. 40 min. after my arrival at the office, the dentist finally came in. He told me that I needed extensive work including multiple root canals replacement teeth multiple fillings, crowns and a bridge. He said this would cost around $10-$12,000. I explained that I cannot afford that. I hadn't dental coverage. He suggested I finance that and he could get me financed. I said I can't afford to get financed. That's why I have Medi-Cal. He said who is your dental coverage with? I said Liberty Dental. His mouth dropped open and he looked at me, sneered, and said "they don't cover anything" He turned, walked towards the door and said, "you wasted my time" and walked out of the exam area. as I was leaving I asked the front desk for a written copy of my exam and my x-rays. They said they would send them to me in about a week. A week later I called up and they told me I needed to come in and pick them up. Because of the horrific treatment by their supposed dentist, there was no way I was walking back into that office. do not waste your time with ALEN BAKHTAMIAN. He is rude and clearly a thief. Don't be fooled guys, they start off very sweet but quickly turn into sour. I really have no idea why I stayed a patient of this establishment for so long. They are just deceiving money hungry people. Lets say more like con artists. They will charge your insurance for work they did not perform on you then when you really need that work the insurance won't cover it because it's "already been done". They will tell you that you need certain work done when in reality you don't. They do not do a good job whatsoever on the work they do to you. Dishonest people. It's really a shame. read more

Ok so been on the hunt searching for a new dentist, that would actually acccept my insurance, for my routine cleaning and check up. After a couple of online searches and a few phone calls made, these guys came highly recommended from a friend. Was a little hesitant at first but went ahead and scheduled an appt. They scheduled me the following day and gave an afternoon appt. just how I wanted. On day of appt the staff was nice and very pollite and double kudos for the short wait time! Doctor was cool and knew exactly what he was doing and in no time was on my way. Will definately be returning in 6 months! read more
