I looked at the selection of photos, and picked a price point based on the size and quality of the arrangement. The very helpful person who took my order said that because of the short notice, the arrangement would be "designer's choice," which was fine with me. When I received a photo of the arrangement from my daughter, I was disappointed with the size in general and also the number of flowers. My daughter, however, was pleased and especially loved some of creative greeneries included. I sent a polite email to the florist and expressed my feeling that the arrangement did not look like the photos of similarly priced bouquets. I received a very quick response with an offer to immediately take another bouquet to her, even though they were done with deliveries for the day. The person who delivered the flowers to my daughter was very apologetic, which was embarrasing for my daughter because she liked the first bouquet too. I do not believe for a minute that the florist intended to deliver an inferior bouquet. It was just not what I expected. Perhaps I am "one of those" customers. I am writing this review because I am appreciative of their professionalism and the obvious pride they take in their work. In the future I am going to happily and confidently order from them again. Their willingness to go the extra mile to make a customer happy is a great reassurance when ordering from afar. P.S. I loved the second bouquet!

May 24 is my birthday and my husband wanted to order some local flower arrangements for the condo: a smaller one for the bedroom and a larger one for the living area. I called the concierge before arrival to inquire about a florist they could recommend, she immediately told me about A Special Touch. She said that the owner does exquisite flower arrangements with local flowers. They were delivered five minutes after we arrived at our condo and I was so impressed by how beautiful they were, I had to acknowledge and recommend this special Lahaina florist. I was directed to their website so that I could cruise the different kind of arrangements and price ranges. There were a lot of different selections and they all looked gorgeous. When I called to place the order, I asked the owner which would best fit our space and our tastes. Upon her suggestion, we ordered the "Hawaiin Stlyle Tropical Centerpiece" and the "Jewel Tone Tropical Centerpiece" The prices were quite reasonable and we spent $222.00 for both including delivery. She contacted me and we discussed via phone what my budget was and how many centerpieces, bouquets, etc I would need. She explained what flowers were in season and suggested based on the colors I wanted what we could include that was in my range. I trusted her implicitly and she came through! She provided concrete planters (that, btw, she makes herself!) which she had suggested black based on the white table clothes so that the color of the flowers would pop. She also did a beautiful flower ring for us, my bouquet, some boutonnieres, and all of the table flowers. She was on site to set up the flower ring, make sure all of the flowers were set up on the tables and she was there at the end to break everything down.
