For example, the kitchen area had items like a stove, dishwasher, and all the utensils you could need. The staff were kind and helpful. One of them helped me measure a chair to see if it would fit under my desk. There are all sorts of designer clothing and handbag items too. My friend and I had a great time looking through all their beautiful gems. I loved their collection of vintage silk scarfs from Japan. They're of stunning quality and vibrant colors. They have jewelry, formal dresses, coats, shoes, art work, decor items, greeting cards and books. There is also a downstairs section of kids furniture, with the most adorable tiny desk, books, and little girls dresses. There was a pair of little girls Mexican sandals, that I just wish I had a little girl in my life to get them for. This store is so beautifully styled, that alone is a masterpiece. There was one lady working, I'm not sure if she's the owner, she said I could try on anything I like. I looked at a pair of really fun earrings, but they were clip ons, and a bit too big for me, so I passed. I trekked to Hamden earlier this year and when I went here, they had some cool stuff. I found a couple of good things that I liked. The clothing selection is decent, book selections are a little iffy. There's literally so much space that could be used to keep merchandise in these areas. Service is really good. I think this Salvation Army is better than other ones I've been to.
