First of all, the front-door menu is outdated, so I was not able to order the sandwich I used to enjoy and wanted. I then reluctantly ordered the veggie sandwich after seeing avocado was an ingredient. Something told me to check my order before I left, and I wish I had. The employees left off the avocado, meaning the sandwich only consisted of a few sliced vegetables suitable for a rabbit. One of us heard the employees discuss leaving off the hummus, but we did not hear them say they were leaving off the avocado. After I discovered this error, the business was closed. Another bad review from the same day says that employees left off a major ingredient on her sandwich. If I lived closer to this place, I would have returned my day-old sandwich. Hopefully my review will mean one or two less customers for Paradise Juice to make up for my wasting my time and money on this place. read more

Came in for a smoothy got a tropical strawberry smoothy and a chicken salad sandwich on multi grain bread. By far the best chicken salad sandwich I've ever had. The smoothy was very good not to sweet like a lot of places make them. read more

Best açaí bowls anywhere. Every time I get an açaí bowl somewhere else I am disappointed because it pales in comparison. The smoothies are the best also. This place is gross. They drive down to Restaurant Deport and buy their fruits and vegetables and then drive them all the way back in their warm car. There are some great juice spots around here that actually buy quality produce and store it properly. Went in for the last week as I am very local - ordered small OJ and shot of wheat grass daily 10 bucks, no big deal. The older guy that I think is the owner and I guess is his wife are NOT to FRIENDLY and they are the only ones that collect your payment. So I went in today and same thing so with this unfriendliness I was NOT compelled to leave a tip. Paid on CC. Received my order and sat in their store for 20 min. Then left gone about an half hour, went to my phone and no CC and I realized he didn't give me my receipt as well. Went back to store and explained that he had NOT given me the card back and he stated he had - I explained if he had it would be right in my Iphone case and have not been anywhere else. He said just call my CC co. like I'm stupid. Never looked for it or ask for my number to call me if they find it. I ask them to look at surveillance and we will know what happened to it . He said he can't do that. Here is my observation of this place - it is clickish and he stuck my card in his pocket because I didnt tip. I have been in there several times, but i will make my ratings on my last visit while its still fresh in my head. I order a smoothie that is not on the menu, its banana and chocolate, it tastes very similar to a fudge bomb from childhood. You have to try this if you loved a fudge bomb as much as i did. I used to come to this store somewhat regularly. Today, I ordered a regular All Greens. A guy, who I assume was the owner came over and insisted I try adding Apple Juice to the blend. I foolishly agreed. It appears they rung up a large, or charged me extra for the Apple Juice as it cost more than usual. They made my order, and managed to coat the entire cup with the stuff in the process. After wasting a large amount of napkins wiping down this watery mess, I gave it a taste. The juice had not only made it incredibly watery, but entirely too sweet, and it tasted disgusting. The person who had made my drink saw me still at the counter and came back over to ask if everything was fine. "No, this tastes disgusting." I replied. She either didn't listen to me or didn't care, because she said "Oh, okay" and walked away. After standing there dumbfounded for a few moments I simply threw my drink away and left. Great menu full of delicious smoothies, and add in vitamins. The smoothies come out fairly quick and the owner is really friendly, usually works the register the last time I went. Good indoor seating and outdoor tables. The smoothies are really fresh and you can see the employees making your smoothie from behind some glass. I should've read the bad reviews and not just the good. I've been here twice, first fine I got the green pineapple which I was told was dairy free and it was delicious. This time I ordered the green rainbow, assumed it was dairy free based on the ingredients listed. I was wrong. I started drinking it and immediately tasted yogurt. Having been dairy free for two years this really upset me. I spoke with the owner on the phone and she offered to remake it. These people need to list the ingredients on the menu, nowhere does it say yogurt yet she said most of them contain non fat yogurt. Not cool. I spent $7.00 on a smoothie I cant drink. And it doesn't help that the people in here never smile, ever. read more

!st visit ordered a tuna avocado sandwich to go. Got it home and no avocado, unripe tomato and overwhelming pickles... but good tuna. 2nd visit ordered the same with no tomato no pickles and asked them not to forget the avocado. Got it home and thick layer of pickles..but good tuna. 3rd and this is the last time..Got it home and the bread was so old it fell apart first bite...and the avocado? 3 slices paper thin. Took it back this. The "owner" went off on me like no one's business, yelling at me about the best tuna fish in town, all the while shoving a loaf of bread in my face...at $8.52 of which I got $7.40 back and ringing ears.. My wife and I have been going there for over four years. They are the best. Always fresh ingredients and real fruit.

The customer service has always been pretty bad. Employees seem to be devoid of the ability to smile. But I bypassed this small factor in favor of tasty and fast incredibly healthy food. That is, until I saw the owner towering over a female customer with his finger in her face, screaming. In front of other customers. The whole store heard him raving demeaning and sexist drivel. While his employees, all female, cowered, eyes down, behind the counter. I was appauled by this man's astounding inability to control his unfounded temper. It seemed the girl wanted a refund for an oder that the store got wrong. He cursed at her and demeaned her for being a female. In front of everyone. It was disgusting. Truly. Well. Now I know why the employees dont smile. And I can find any other business to purchase my food from. Skip the sexism. Dont support people who treat others like that. Paradise Juice is by far the BEST place in the valley for smoothies! Whether you're looking for something as simple as strawberry banana (which by the way is DELICIOUS!) or as unique as coconut, it would be very hard for someone to NOT find something that they like. Additionally, the owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Working at a retail store myself, i believe customer service is extremely important, and the owners and employees at Paradise Juice definitely agree. Whenever i'm running late, they are always happy to make my smoothie for me "extra quickly" upon request. I even forgot my wallet one day and didn't realize it until i ordered the smoothie, and one of the owners told me that i have "good credit" at their store and would have been more than happy to let me repay them later instead of running home and grabbing my wallet, which is what i decided to do anyway. They will go out of their way to make their customers happy, and i always appreciate their generosity and friendly demeanor. I am definitely a life-long customer of Paradise Juice-- there is absolutely no better place to go when you need something to cool you down! read more
