They refused to move and the boss gave me the evil eye before he turned and drove off on his mower. They have a county contract but that should come to an end. What they did is a $250 fine and caused us to abandon our park plans for the day. Never use this company. They hate disabled people and go out of their way to show it! WE FILED A COMPLAINT with the county and the supervisor was reportedly in route to see them at the job site. Wilhelm are confirmed Assholes! For the personnel working at Nokomis, Pocono Trail 2/19/26 4:00pm two guys. The grunt was just sitting on his butt in the handicap parking spot while fixated/looking at his phone. He refused to move or ask the boss man to move "because he is annasshole", he said several times. The boss was wearing a black balaclava cutting the grass at a completely separate park while blocking anyone from using this park if you can believe that! Total jerks even when asked! Two cars trying to park and the boss's evil stink eye was the best we could get from Wilhelm. They are not answering their phone this afternoon. I would like to speak to the owner and will try more. I will also be back in touch with the county over their contract and the blocking of the entrance and handicap access to entire park with refusal to assist handicapped people keep access is the most disturbing. He was soliciting work Because we had two very large dead oak trees in our front yard. At first, Josh appeared, professional and knowledgeable, and he assured us that he could have a crew and equipment on site immediately. He pressured us to pay in full before any word began stating that he needed the money to secure rental equipment and pay his workers. Against our better judgment, and because he insisted this was the only acceptable form of payment for a job. This size we paid him $14,500 in cash. Within within an hour, the crew arrived and began cutting. Not even 30 minutes into the job a large branch was dropped, crushing our shed and damaging our well system. Immediately after causing the damage, the crew packed up and left the property without explanation and never returned. We attempted to contact Josh multiple times, but he refuses to answer or take responsibility. We filed a report with the sheriffs office, but were told it is considered a civil matter. At this point it feels like we are dealing with a clear case of fraud yet as the saying goes, you can't get blood from a stone.

People show up to give an estimate and never provide a quote; or worse, provide a quote and then try to increase the price after-the-fact. But THIS job went better than expected on just about every level. So a huge shout-out and thank you to Lamb Tree Care Service, because I cannot say enough good things about this company. They were a very late addition to the list of tree companies I contacted to get an estimate to have 11 large oaks trimmed; and two others completely removed. The owner, Paul Lamb showed up and we walked the property; he provided a verbal quote right off the top of his head, and I told him that it was a great quote but I'd need it in writing - - he said that one would be coming no later than the following day, and when I checked my e-mail barely an hour later, and I had a VERY detailed, itemized statement, complete with notes about certain parts of the project. It was not only the care they took to be professional about the quoting process, it didn't hurt that the price was significantly better than the others I'd received. Also, a couple of companies told me that the job would take at least three and possibly four days. Lamb said it would be done in a day and a half at most. I called the company to approve the job, and heard from the office shortly thereafter to set up the work date. James, the crew foreman, arrived Wednesday morning right on time, and we walked the property to be sure that nothing was lost in translation. Not long thereafter, his crew of two showed up with the big equipment, and for the next 7 hours or so, they tackled this huge job without any hiccups whatsoever. They even blew the leaves off of our roof. It didn't take four days or three or even a day and a half. They were done in a single day. So now we no longer have an enormous oak, dangerously leaning over our driveway (it was pushed to a very concerning angle during Hurricanes Ian and Idalia), and the large branches that loomed over our pool cage, fence, and even the next-door neighbor's house have been removed.
