Such a quaint and charming place! We stayed in ASPEN cabin and our doors opened right onto the river. It is a wonderful sound to drift off and wake up to. The cabin has absolutely everything you need! Well stocked with coffee, cookware, dishes, ice trays, generous fluffy towels, soap ... even bathroom spray! The caretakers are personable and responsive when needed. Owner is on property (or steps away). Some cabins / RVs are dog friendly. Reasonably priced with easy access to RMNP. One note: our cabin was not air conditioned (but with windows open at night, it is plenty comfortable); daytime can get pretty hot, but, for us, there was always a breeze. I can't say enough good about this place. Just lovely and when I come back, this is where I want to stay! read more

We flew into Colorado from NJ for a wedding in Estes park , we rented a cabin here 1st time staying in a cabin type setting so waa little apprehensive , but once we got there it all disappeared the area was clean and welcoming the owner Cathy ( not sure if correct spelling ) was fantastic and very accommodating but best of all was our cabin and views , if i ever come back down this way thats exactly where I will be staying again .thank you for a great time Cathy !!! read more

Absolutely beautiful in every way. We had our Airstream on the River for two days and only left because of availability. This place is magical. The owners are wonderful and we're so gracious answering our questions and getting us settled. We hiked/climbed every day and couldn't wait to get back to our spot each evening to sit and chill. Clean and beautiful place with friendly staff. We made reservations about 8 months in advance. RV sites are tight, but the staff are helpful and guide you in. We asked to stay an extra night 3 months after our reservation and they were fully booked. Recommend that you plan well in advance as extending your stay is hard. They do have a cancellation fee, should you change your mind. Overall nice and clean and great view of the river. read more

I can honestly say that this is the nicest, most beautiful RV park that i have ever seen...it is surrounded by evergreen trees and meticulously maintained by an obvious gardener. The grounds are so beautiful, but the best part is the river that runs right next to the grounds. It provides a serene sound backdrop and is absolutely gorgeous. We had our own deck, and table with chairs provided. There are also cute little cabins available. The restrooms and showers are exceptionally clean, the laundry room is clean, and you can wash for $2 and dry for $2 so bring quarters. It's located one mile from downtown. Very nice management personnel. I will definitely be staying at Paradise on the River again! read more

Great Burgers, Cold Beers, Really Good Service, and a Great outdoor seating area. Ambience is relaxing and casual. Nice seating outside by the river. I had a great dinner after hiking the Manitou Incline. Definately recommend you visit this place for Lunch or Dinner. read more

A large group of us stayed here for multiple days for a wedding. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The location is beautiful and right on the river. We stayed in the 3 bedroom cabin, which was perfect for our group. Includes a hot tub and the deck looks over the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. At night, you can sleep to the sounds of the calming river. a few others in our party stayed in the smaller cabins which were also cute, and provided everything you needed for your stay. Paradise on the River is 5-10 minutes to downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking and shopping. Highly recommend staying here, and I'll definitely be back for any future mountain vacations. read more

When they say Paradise on the River, they mean it! My fiancé and I decided at the last minute to stay in Estes Park for one night. Everything was booked except one cabin at Paradise on the River. We booked the Elk's Crossing cabin, and we arrived around 6:30 (after hours). One of the staff (I can't remember her name) was still on site and let us in. She was very friendly and gave us some restaurant recommendations. She also walked us to our cabin and showed us where everything was. The cabin was absolutely adorable, clean and cozy. Nice kitchen with all the essentials, bunk beds (nice if you have kids), bathroom with towels and wash cloths, quaint bedroom and living room. The best part was the cabin situated right on the river. It was so relaxing listening to the water in the morning while we made breakfast. There's also a patio and a fireplace to keep you warm during the crisp, chilly morning. Thank you so much for such a nice stay! We'll definitely be back to try one of the cabins with a hot tub. read more

This RV park is great. It is beautiful and beautifully cared for. The staff is made up of volunteers who have a work/stay agreement and they are all so nice and seem to care about what they do. We rebooked for next year the day we were leaving, which we have not done at any other campground. We look forward to camping there again. read more

This was my families first visit to Estes Park and what a wonderful surprise Paradise on the River was. The property is beautiful, the cabin was incredibly clean and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. I can't say enough about how well managed this property is. And one of the best parts about the stay was how dog friendly it is. We rented a cabin which allowed our pups to stay with us. My husband and I would sit on the deck in the mornings and drink our coffee and read while we watched the hummingbirds and listened to the water from the river. My wife and I just spent a long weekend in RV campsite #5 at Paradise on the River. It's a wonderful place and we had a wonderful time. The staff is incredibly helpful and do everything they can to make the visit as easy and comfortable​ as possible. They are friendly, available when you need them, and just plain nice people. The property is clean, well kept, and makes for a relaxing time. Site #5 backs onto the Big Thompson River. The river sound provides a relaxing counterpoint to the hustle and bustle of city life. We had tow vehicle trouble while there. Kathy in the office put us in touch with a local auto shop she uses and trusts that went out of their way to help us out. She even figured out how to help us out if we needed to stay an extra night should repairs take longer than our reservation. Everything​ ended up working out, we left on time with a working, safe, tow vehicle. If you're traveling to Estes Park towing a travel trailer this is a great place to stay! read more

We rented the Hallett's Peak Cottage for two nights. If we had known that it was so nice, we would have stayed longer. The women at check-in were super nice and friendly. The cottage and the grounds were all very well maintained and clean. The owner and the manager were extremely helpful and accommodating. The cottage itself was immaculate and has a great layout with a large living room and kitchen, spacious bedrooms, tvs in every room with cable and stocked with everything you need for an enjoyable stay! Loved the porch that was about 10 feet from the river. There was also a bbq and propane fire pit on the deck. It almost impossible to get any closer to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Close enough to town to be convenient but far enough to avoid traffic. As a bonus, the cabin had a private outdoor hot tub which was welcoming after a long day of hiking in the park. read more

Stayed there for 8 nights in one of the RVs. Super clean and wonderful place to stay. The RV was brand new and nicely decorated and stocked with high-end items like quality glasses, plates, towels, etc. The laundry room was spotless and the staff was very nice but not intrusive. The property does have the river next to it but it is a small section of river without many areas to access/fish. The location is great. easy to get to town and back. Our RV was not on the river and was fairly close to the main road so you did hear cars going by. Very little space between cabins/RVs but they have done a good job of building separators so you have privacy. The property it small --no playground area for the kiddos. Overall very nice experience there. read more

My family came up from TX and we rented the Hallett's Peak Cottage....... huge beautiful place....... sleeps 12 and has a covered back deck overlooking the river. All modern all wonderful all a BLAST ! The folks in the office were more than excellent and we've already booked our trip for 2015 with them ! If you're truly looking for a little piece of heaven then THIS is your place ! We can't wait to go back ! Do yourself a favor and run, don't walk, to book one of these cabins...... and I highly recommend Hallett's Peak Cottage :) read more
