This vet is great! I adopted a dog that happened to have kennel cough(its common, it happens sometimes) and they have done everything in their power to help my sweet girl! They even call to check up to see if they need to intervene more. They were the only vet that I called and could get her in same day. From the first visit, I could see they were caring, efficient and not trying to gouge me for money. They also work very quickly and can usually diagnose the problem in under an hour if not sooner. My dog is also pretty calm when she goes in meaning I think shes knows they are not going to hurt her and are only going to help her. Although this vet is a little far for me, I will continue to go here knowing they actually care as much as I do about my furry family! Thanks Paradise Point! Keep up the good work! read more

My elderly dog used the vet on the go service a couple of years ago. It was great. Love the doctor, love the service, and feel like he was well taken care of until the end of his life. So about two years ago, I took our new cat there. I saw Dr. Garthe. People rave about her but she was cold and had a dismissive attitude toward me. I did not go back. I also find it super weird that her husband is the one that responds to the reviews in Google. I'm guessing he's an "employee" office staff since she is the doctor and acts like she doesn't have the time to speak to you. Do not go here. read more

Dr. Garthe left her helper to put needles in my old pitbull. When I got home several long metal needles where still left in my baby boy. He was so messed up trying to walk with the needles in his stomach he fell under a desk and couldn't get out. He got more messed up while in her care then if I didn't go in at all. I still feel traumatized by this experience. She offered to refund my money which I took in exchange for some reason to not sue her. I should have and wish I could but my buddy soul mate is no longer in this plain no thanks to her and her untrained staff!!! read more

I started taking my cat, Henry, to Dr. Casey in late November/early December 2024. I wanted to find an integrative/holistic vet after my previous integrative vet moved out of the country. Henry and I both LOVE Dr. Casey! She and the rest of the staff answered all the questions I had, and were so attentive to mine and my cat's needs. I was also pleased when I told them Henry only gets fed canned. and fresh food, they did not bash me for my feeding choice for him (which, a few vets have questioned in the past), and told me to keep doing what I'm doing because it was clearly working for him. I signed up for the senior wellness plan that day, got Henry's bloodwork done not too long after that, and had his dental cleaning in January this year, all of which was covered by the wellness plan. Henry and I will DEFINITELY be back to see Dr. Casey in the future! read more

*disturbing photo warning* DO NOT GO HERE. My friend recently had to take her senior dog here for a mass removal surgery. I think we can all agree our animals are our family and finding out one of them is sick, especially when they're older, is extremely scary. After being assured that the surgery went well and the dogs recovery time was up she had to bring him back in for his stitches to be removed. Not only did the dogs wound reopen after the removal, but he had to have another emergency surgery. My friend then proceeded to follow up after the second surgery about his well being, just to have unanswered emails spanning almost two weeks and multiple phone calls. When she finally did get ahold of the office, they brushed her off and told her there was no way of knowing the stitches would reopen and they wouldn't be compensating her for the emergency surgery nor did they apologize. I don't pretend to know anything about veterinary surgery, however I do know how to run a business given that I've had one for over 10 years and the sheer lack of respect and communication is appalling. When you seek care for your animals, you expect them to be treated with priority and compassion. This vet office does not offer that in the slightest. I would never go here if you value your pets care and you expect a level of basic communication from your vet and techs. read more

No show for mobile visit. Called in to the office to report the event and the staff were short and rude. They told me that the don't conduct mobile visits for the day I was referring to and further implied that I knew it was an on-site visit because it had been confirmed the night before. I asked her if she was the person that had confirmed the appointment and she replied, "no." Then, I said, "Is there any possibility that when the person confirmed the appointment they may have just said that they were confirming an appointment but may have failed to specify a location?" She said "no," and told me I had confirmed the location despite her not being the original person that was on the call. Horrible communication and horrible bedside manner. Had to call multiple times to ever get an update. It took them ELEVEN DAYS to return an email. My dog had a procedure here and in under 24 hours of the stitches being removed, the wound reopened and he had to have a second emergency surgery. After being assured they'd make the situation right, after nearly 3 weeks of following up, they nearly laughed at me for saying the stitches shouldn't have been removed and said "there was no way of knowing." Would absolutely not recommend this vet. read more

I called the emergency line (separate business) and after talking with me they decided it would be best to bring my golden retriever to paradise point in the morning for the urgent care visit. I arrived at 8am, they let me know it would be an hour or so before they could give max a full eval. An hour later they called with an explanation, treatment plan and walked me through the pricing before any service was done. Multiple times I have left messages for Dr. Garthe and have had to call back days later to find she never got them. Test samples for my kittens have been mixed up and/or never submitted. Incorrect test results have been reported to me. When I finally got to the point of getting a new prescription for an ongoing upper respiratory infection, I was told it was going to be the same medication that my kittens were showing an allergic reaction to and couldn't take. Too many miscommunications, too many unreturned phone calls especially when the phone call information was expected the next day. The vets are great but until this place gets it together, I don't recommend it. read more

Hands down the best vet we have been to in the Valley!!! Dr. Lori Herrold spent so much time with us going over various options for our dogs allergies. We have been dealing with this for almost five years, and have been told in multiple occasions "she's just allergic to life, get used to it". Dr. Herrold had so many suggestions of things we could try (that weren't just medicines). She was BEYOND helpful and took the time to truly educate us on how we can help our pup. She was the first vet we have been to that sat on the floor with our dog and really did an in depth physical exam. She did not pressure us to make any decisions on the spot, and gave us handouts of information to look through. I just can't say enough good things about the whole experience. It truly felt like she was invested in my dogs health and happiness, not just collecting my money and rushing me out the door. I usually leave the other vets office feeling defeated and a little hopeless for our pup, but left here feeling so hopeful and excited to implement her suggestions!! We will tell everyone about this clinic and how great the staff was!!! read more

Over the years, Dr. Garthe monitored his health closely, and always patiently and helpfully described our treatment options. Dr Garthe is amazing. My pup does not like going to the vet office and gets very stressed out doing so. I scheduled my appt over the phone with the extremely friendly and knowledgeable office staff. They called when they were in route to my home . Dr Garthe did wonderful with both my dogs, she communicates clearly and honestly. She took the time to get to know each one of my dogs rather than rushing through the exams. I did not feel like she was trying to up sell us or spend our money. Dr Garthe will be our forever vet. This place is absolutely amazing, so clean and pretty inside. The staff are so kind and helpful and were so good to my sick dog. I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Paradise today. I was panicking about a sick puppy we just adopted and no vets within 10 miles of my house had appointments this week due to Covid. (Including my own vet which I have been a patron of for 15 years) I called Paradise Point, they got me in same day. Their calming attitude was so reassuring. They treated my puppy and I was sooooooo scared when they brought the bill. My fears unreasonable. The bill was very fair. My puppy is already doing much better, the doctor here is just like my Childrens pediatrician. Very "non panicky" the skies not falling we'll fix this. I seriously could not be happier and I will sleep so much better tonight. Due to this experience I will be taking all of my paw friends here despite the 20 minute commute. I called around for days to get my dog in to a vet for her broken molar. I called the friendly people at Paradise Point at 1130am and they told me to bring her right in! They quickly assessed her and did surgery the same day. They stayed late to take good care of her and we are so appreciative! We will be back for sure! read more

After recently relocating to this neighborhood we really wanted to find a "forever vet" for our dog. Unfortunately, I will need to find another provider due to lack of communication amongst management, staff and customers. I took my dog in for a wellness exam where they discovered he had a potential ear infection. After taking a closer look they recommended he be treated and explained to me that he would need to be treated twice (once at this visit and once a week after) in both ears. I asked how much this treatment plan would be and they said $50. It turns out it is actually $100 ($50 per each visit/application). I found this out when I was waiting for my dogs' second medication application appointment to finish and asked to speak to the manager as this was not communicated to me by staff. The manager came out to my vehicle and basically just told me" Yeah, sorry, this is what it costs." No acknowledgement or apology about how the staff was misleading. After I voiced my concerns, she took my card and came back saying she had "given me a discount"--it was $43!!!! Haha, truly laughable. From what I can see on the outside the office looks very nice. They go above and beyond to take so much time and care with all of the animals and humans who come to see them. Dr. Garthe and her staff are the actual dream team. We brought our kitten in with an upper respiratory infection and she could not have been more caring or more efficient. She was knowledgeable, professional and incredibly kind to our kitty and us. You can tell she isn't just a great doctor, but she's a great person too. Her staff reflects that in everything as well.
