Great spot for a great burger! Went in on a Sunday for lunch and it didn't disappoint! I went with the beer battered burger (Booze Burger on the menu) and seasoned fries. While it was pretty pricey, you get what you pay for! HUGE portions. My meal came out quick and was hot and fresh. The guy at the counter was busting his tail getting the orders out, all while keeping a smile on his face. Plenty of TVs to go around and one of the best playlists playing over the speakers. This place is such a treat!! I got the Beach House burger and loved it and my husband got the Paradise burger with bacon and cheese and really liked his as well. Both burgers had a ton of flavor, great toppings, and crispy buns (which I thought would be too thin but actually worked out very well). We didn't see the specials on the wall until we were leaving, but the special burger also looked really good. We got the seasoned fries as a side and there were enough for both of us - they were very seasoned (in a good way) and went great with the jalapeño ranch. The vanilla milkshake was really good and had SO much whipped cream on it - you can tell they use real ice cream and good whipped cream from how delicious it all tastes. I've heard great things about the original PV Burger, so had to check it out! Being open late and ordering at the counter makes for a great quick dinner still with attentive, kind service and quality burgers. The seasoned fries are a must-get, and their smash burgers have good flavor with an almost sweet caramelization. I've had better burgers elsewhere, but these were very solid. I will also say $9 for an average milkshake is pretty overpriced. My boyfriend was craving a burger yesterday, and upon a quick Google search, we settled on Paradise Valley Burger. First, the good: we walked in a little after 7pm, and there were only a few people inside. We had our pick of seats, and that was nice. I went with the Brulee burger (no 1,000 island), and he got their paradise burger. The burger patties themselves were thin and seasoned well, and their French fries were awesome. Additionally, the Brulee burger came with an egg over medium, which happens to be my favorite way to cook an egg. Also, they serve coke products here, and I prefer that over Pepsi. The so-so: The service was.... Subpar, at best. The guy behind the counter was polite-ish but definitely seemed bored and like he'd rather be anywhere else. While the burger was good at first, it quickly became soggy and I couldn't handle the texture, so I couldn't finish my meal. The price was also a tad high for what we got, I feel, and for $40 I should have walked away more satisfied than I did. Will I be back? Meh. Maybe, if I'm not paying. read more

A friend of mine suggested we come here after trying the Downtown Scottsdale location. I'm so glad we checked it out! After walking in and checking out the menu, I couldn't stop wondering what the Brûlée Burger tasted like....I had to order it! I like crème brûlée and I like burgers....why not, right? The service and atmosphere were great. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table and there's plenty of seating inside. The burger was great! The top bun had the brûlée burnt on, add in the running egg, 1,000 island, bacon, etc....the sweet and savory flavors were amazing and balanced. Gluten free eater. This place was so good. It's a casual place but feels like it can be a local bar. TVs on all over. Nice booths. Their menu is small but everything we had was flavored well. I got mine without a bun and seasoned fries. The fries were amazing. My burger and green chili was perfect. I couldn't taste it was canned which I can with most places. My husband enjoyed his diablo. He got sweet potato tots. Those are packed with flavor. They were a bit on the sweet side but still really good. Overall the service was quick and we were in and out within 30 minutes. I was in the area and decided to give their second location a shot. This location is nicer than their original location in P.V., that has closed and relocated to Scottsdale... The place is clean. Minimal staff today. The wait time is average. This place is a fast casual spot. The service is OK. I ordered to go. I decided to order a chicken sandwich. I normally would not eat chicken at a burger place. However I was intrigued with the ingredient combination. I have to say I'm impressed with the dredge they use for the chicken. It was perfectly seasoned, therefore I didn't have to add salt. The rosemary was a nice touch , they definitely were skimpy with it. The sandwich had a great bite, nice and crunchy. The sauce was a little runny and not very much of it. The honey was really a nice addition as well. I would definitely go back and make sure the next time I ordered extra sauce and rosemary. There were parts of the sandwich that were dry, because the sauce was thin and had a tendency to settle in the center of the sandwich. read more

Found this place on Yelp and, I loved the service and attitude of the people here so I'm going to be really positive and start with what I loved. I also rounded the experience up from a 3.5 star to 4 star because of the awesome above average service. The tamale tots with that brilliant dipping sauce was just an astounding 10/10 experience. This was one of the most brilliant culinary things I've tasted in a while. I was very pleased by the experience as it very much tasted like a deep fried tamale but with a batter on the outside rather than a bunch of masa. The flavor profile was perfect . The cardinal fries were a solid 8/10 the pulled pork was soft and fatty and excellent in texture and flavor, the sauce it came with very much complimented it perfectly as well. The only thing that gave it slightly less points were the fries themselves added a bit too much salt and once you added sauce and meat and all this stuff the seasoning they used on the salt just didn't really taste like it belonged in my opinion. I ended up picking around some of the fries and eating the rest. We both felt like the burgers needed a little extra flavor in the sauces that were in them. They were pretty decent but it just didn't get past a 6/10 which is still not bad honestly. The service was extremely friendly and very accommodating, they gave us plenty of sauces to try and I think their demeanor around customer service was one of the best I've seen in a long time. 10/10 for that read more

Never grabbing Togo again. My portion of French fries for 6$ was smaller than a value fry from McDonald's. Then my burger lettuce was so wet my bottom bun fell apart within 10 minutes of receiving my order. Inedible and absolutely disgusting lunch experience after not eating all Like someone soaked my bun in grease/water and lettuce is all wilted and brown. Sad bc this spot normally really goes above and beyond. 5-6$ for French fry's and giving someone 1/3 of an entire potatoes thst cost less than 1$ a pound is diabolical. Complete waste of $17 I am disgusted. The onions also sept into the top bun making it just as disgusting and gross. Imagine overly wet stuffing consistency from thanksgiving tha sat out for 5 hours and is luke warm. FOUL read more

The burgers and fries here are absolutely delicious. Been here twice now and I look forward to my next visit. The fries are indeed crispy and seasoned. The burgers taste homemade and full of flavors. I love that everything comes out hot. Ordering your food is easy. As you walk into the restaurant, the first thing you see is the ordering counter where you place your order and pay. The menu is short making decision making a breeze. Service is great and the people taking your order have been great with making modifications. They offer the best gluten free bun I've ever had (I've tried quite a few) and their register system is able to take away or add ingredients which is great. The ambiance is okay which is why I gave 4 stars. There is sufficient sunlight light that comes through into the inside. Also the murals on the walls distracts and provides you with something to look at as you wait and even eat. Tables and chairs seem clean and the colors are bright and fun. However, the space feels a little claustrophobic at times and it is unsightly to see their supplies out in plain view (bun packaging just outside the kitchen, toilet paper just outside the bathroom). Not the end of the world issues considering how good everything else is but some issues for management to consider. read more

Personally, a 3/5 for me, but my partner loves Paradise Valley Burger with 5/5 stars. I'll be giving this review with our combined average. Ordering style is fast casual where you order up front and find whichever seat you like to wait for your food. Service has always been friendly and quick :) My partner and I have tried most of the burgers on the main menu here, so I've started ordering the monthly specials if they appeal to me. For the regular menu, my partner really loves the Beach House burger. My personal favorite was an old monthly special in the Kentucky Fried burger. It sounds strange in concept but it worked super well all together. Even the cashier at the time commented that it was his favorite too. I wish it would be brought back :( It would definitely be my regular order if it was. I still think about it months later! A good number of the burgers on the regular menu come with sauce that tends to make the bun soggy and fall apart. I am personally not a huge fan of this. Some of the monthly specials have also puzzled me in that they come with patties only with no bun. They have to be eaten with a fork and knife. I also wish this was made clearer before I ordered them. There's definitely good flavor in all of the burgers, I'm just more picky in the eating experience. All sides are crispy and you can't go wrong with them, but I do find the fries in particular a bit too salty. Milkshakes here are made really thick! This is also not my personal preference, but great for anyone who loves a thick shake. I've always found it to be clean here even during busier times. Overall, while PVB isn't my personal favorite burger spot, I would still recommend people try it at least once because they definitely have some unique twists on their burgers that have great flavors. I've been meaning to stop by Paradise Valley Burger for quite a while and I finally made it in. Ordered the Paradise Valley Burger with seasoned fries. From the graffiti, I guess Guy Fieri has eaten here, but honestly I'd really like to see some other interesting decorations to give the place its own identity. The gorilla on another wall was a different art style too so there wasn't consistency there either. The gold tile under the soda fountain caught my eye for some reason though. I really liked it and I couldn't tell you why. I received my food quickly and it looked great! I immediately noticed that the burger patties were significantly smaller than the bun. I'd say about 1/2 the area of the bun so that bun to meat ratio was disappointing. The burger was good but honestly I expected more flavor. I feel like the meat wasn't seasoned much, probably to let the toppings take the spotlight, but those weren't particularly flavorful either. Pickles, pickled onion and thousand island should have zapped my mouth with tanginess but there just wasn't any zapping going on. The fries were crispy and the seasoning is a bbq-like seasoning. Smoked paprika and maybe some brown sugar but not as sweet as bbq chips usually are. Overall I kinda went in with high expectations from the reviews. The food was pretty good, but didn't reach my expectations. I'll have to try one of the more exotic burgers next time read more

With the name of a brûlée burger I was prepared for a sweet burger but it was a bit too sweet and the $4 small side of mid fries that were also sweet made it less of a savory sweet meal and was just a sweet meal. This is how I know this place is delicious....I ordered a kids burger for a snack and it was awesome! I needed to eat but not a full meal so I had to watch the portion size. The kids burger was absolutely tasty! I can't wait to go back and try one of their featured burgers with more complex flavors. The burger patty itself has such a great taste. My burger was just bun, patty, cheese, and a ketchup smile. That's a purist cheeseburger and if they excel at that I'm sure it only goes up from there. I also had a delicious milkshake with Oreos.
