Super unprofessional and very flaky. At first glance and interaction the owner of this business appears competent. However you will shortly find that as soon as he has you slated for reoccurring service and a service contract magically he will disappear and be completely unavailable. My husband had shoulder surgery this summer and we needed to hire someone to care for our front and back yard. David was very accommodating. He came over right away to give us an estimate. The price seemed fair. His crew arrived the next day and made the place look great. We hadn't done any yard work since my husband's injury, so it looked bad. Their work always looked great. They're reliable, and very unobtrusive. If we're ever in a position to need yard work again these are the people I will hire. David also mentioned that he does limited landscape layout. I'm planning to call him in when we're ready to re-do the front yard to be more water efficient. read more

It took a while to post this, because I felt that the rest of the world should know this. If you a looking for "mow and blow guys" to take care of your lawn, he is definitely the person for you. But if you are looking for something else, maybe someone that can be proactive with seeing issues with your lawn and bringing it to you attention to correct it, PLEASE LOOK FOR SOMEONE ELSE. We reached out to David to replace our former landscaper (Turf King). All I can say about him is that he speaks for the moment. He promises everything to get the business, but as I have discovered, he just does NOT deliver. We gave him specific instructions, like removing weeds, shaping/trimming bushes and replacing dead plant and bushes to maintain our yard. I must say though, that his workers do a very good job, when told what to do, but when you have issues with the service and want to talk to David about it, his response is "I'm not available". I would think that if a customer has an issue with the service that you provide, as the owner of the company, you would IMMEDIATELY address it. I don't think he even stepped foot on the yard after our initial meeting. I have a laundry list of items that cause me to feel this way. One thing in particular, like leaving the trimmed branches from trimming our Crape Myrtle trees, outside the fence and NOT hauling them away like we requested (they left an unsightly view for our neighbors to complain about). We were looking for a Landscaper that takes pride in their service and is proactive to replace damaged plants, and correct lawn care issues, but in the end he (and his company) are just regular "mow and blow" guys and that's it!!! read more

Well, I don't see how the guy has 4 stars. We hired him while we were gone due to the Camp Fire, just buy going his so called reputation and paid half up front. We had a river bed and pond that needed cleaning and due to rain when we came to pay the final amount the pond was partially full plus Dave said he put water in so hard to see. He did not touch the pond to just clean out the debris that was in it. Contract said that was part of the job. Gutters he said were cleaned and guards put back, nope. He even tried to get away with blowing leaves into the bushes in the back. He did go back and rake up the pile of leaves. Now back home water gone from pond due to a tiny leak and gunk in the pond still so he didn't pressure wash as he promised in the contract. I texted him today to tell him what he promised wasn't completed. Dave's response "Iwish you and your husband the very best. Thank you" The nerve of people taking advantage of seniors and the fires. This guy is a real flake. I tried to set up a monthly service with him, he promised me he would come out and do my yard, then gave me nothing but excuses. One excuse after another, delayed and delayed, I gave him another chance and he STILL did not take care of my yard, until I finally told him I would find someone else. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. David came out and cleaned my gutters and cleared my roof of leaves and debris. He came out promptly to give me a bid and did the work as soon as it was dry enough. His price was more than fair. I will call David again when I need more yard clean up work. read more

Initially had them cone out after a storm left me buried in leaves and limbs. They sure didn't waste any time! The yards soon looked beautiful. Kept them coming back every two weeks and the price was more than reasonable. They were always willing to take on extra work (cleaning gutters, taking out dead shrubs, bringing in gravel, etc.) and they were always great to work with. I was in a bind regarding my father's property as he could not maintain it any longer. I was unable to keep it up so I contacted Paradise Pines Yard Care and made arrangements for David to help. He was so helpful and did a complete clean up. I was so pleased that he now maintains the home continuously. Communication is definitely a plus with this business as well! read more

Paradise Pines Yard Care has taken care of my mother's yard weekly since just after the fire. David and his crew mow the large lot and trim the bushes routinely and haul away debris and clean the gutters as needed. David is responsible, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He is local and does a great job! David took pictures of the work done and I paid by Venmo. Very efficient. read more

David was hired to perform pruning, trimming, clean up and roof and gutter cleaning for an agreed price of $350. The full amount was paid to him when he was ready to leave at the end of the day on Tues. Sept. 25. On Thurs. 9/27 I called David and told him that his men had missed pruning several shrubs, had not cleaned up any of the perennials in the yard and had done an incomplete job on the gutters. He thanked me for calling and said he would return on Tues., 10/2 to finish the job. That is the last I heard from him. Highly recommend! We were very fortunate to find David of Paradise Pines Yard Care. We were coming from out of town and looking for someone to do a complete yard cleanup at my mom's place, as she had recently passed away. It was a stressful time for us; we were overwhelmed. Not only did he show up as scheduled to meet with us, he also gave us a fair price, kept in communication after we left, and worked very hard to get the job done. He was reliable, trustworthy, very nice, and professional, which gave us peace of mind, and complete confidence knowing that the job was in good hands. He came through for us. read more

To trim front bushes and rake leaves in a small 4-Plex and small amount of work in back, David gave estimate $200 reg $300 better and #400 "the works". Apparently "the works" does not include raking up the leaves and taking them away. He did the work at end of Dec. and sent pictures. He wanted us to pay right before we saw what he did. We trusted him. That is probably why he wants you to pay right away. I would suggest not paying him until you look at what he did. We did trusted him - he will tell you he worked two days for the $400, but I have done this work before myself, and $400 is generous. He will tell you we contacted him 2 months after the job was done. This is true because we trusted him and had not reason to check. Then he did not respond until I was persistent. He will tell you he can't go back now because sooo many leaves have fallen in winter months. Be wary of this business, he will do as little work as possible if you don't nail down the contract. I would look for someone else. read more
