I called and got the same Aggressiveness from him. He stated that you would have to wait a year for the contract to auto renew and then wait 30 days to cancel. I had a membership at another large, chain gym - and used to get so annoyed and frustrated at how there didn't seem to be any off peak times. It was constantly crowded and it was a struggle to get any piece of cardio equipment or weights or benches. I found myself using the gym less and less because I couldn't fully utilize it. Anytime Fitness is probably the same distance away as my other gym. I will say though that it is small....but if you do not require classes and just need some cardio equipment, weights and machines, then this place is for you. I have gone after work and have been able to work out and do what I need to. It's never packed and even when there are people there, everyone is polite about sharing or working in and cleaning their benches/machines when they are done.

I love to work out without too many people around, I feel comfortable, plus there's no wait for any machine. The only hiccup I foresee is the fact that I didn't see more than 1 pair of 5 and 10 dumbells. So if more than 1 person is using one of those weights time could be wasted. Plus there were no 8 or 12 lb weights. There were only 5, 10, 15lbs. Sometimes 10 is too light and 15 is too heavy. A 12lb dumbell would do nicely. The main reason I'm joining is because it's open 24hrs and close to my house. I'm a busy mom of two, who works in the city, has to leave at 6am to get to work and return at 6/6:30pm. Joining a regular gym with regular hours wouldn't work for me. It's slightly pricier than other gyms but for me this works. And I can't wait to try out the classes!

Several members raised the issue, but management did not offer a refund, credit, or reasonable solution. On top of the monthly fee, they charge $15 if you cancel a booked class. However, when the studio fails to provide one of the classes included in the membership, customers receive no refund or credit. That feels very one-sided. For nearly half of the summer, the studio also had no air conditioning, making the classes extremely uncomfortable. Members were still expected to pay the full membership price despite the conditions and unavailable services. The two instructors who provided challenging, effective classes are no longer regularly available--one left, and the other now teaches only once a week. The remaining classes feel repetitive, with the same exercises being done over and over. I gave the program several months, but the conditions, quality, policies, and limited class options did not justify the price. I have now canceled my membership. Customers should receive the services and suitable environment they are paying for.

But this was not the case. I felt very welcomed and got started with one of their trainers, Carl ( the best!!!!) The fees are very reasonable, which has made it possible for me to really commit and frankly change my life. I deal with a lot of caretaking on a daily basis and getting stronger in this space has made that possible without feeling that I am harming my body. Everyone here knows your name and is available to help but you have space to explore and learn on your own. This is truly a place for everyone.
