However, the front desk girls are rude, no hello, hardly look up from their cellphones. Some of the equipment (stairmills especially) are soooo filthy- it's a bio-hazard !!! I mean - disgusting ! The manager is very nice and friendly. My one year contract is coming up to an end in a couple of months, I'm going to have to think hard before I renew. I mean there are many other gyms in the area so I might just try something else.... see how it compares.

I called and got the same Aggressiveness from him. He stated that you would have to wait a year for the contract to auto renew and then wait 30 days to cancel. That's not what the contract says and that makes no sense. They are rude,unprofessional, and make up their own policies to keep you locked into to giving up your money!! PLEASE BEWARE!!! DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM!!

Before training with her, most of my own work out routine consisted of just cardio and basic utilization of some machines. With Seleah, I have gained a lot more information on how to work out various muscles in my body, build a lot of strength and able to lift more weights. She works very well with your goals and needs. Like any typical trainer, she doesn't make you go on any crazy strict diets and makes sure that you are not indulged in crazy work outs. Her flexibility is the reason of her success and I know that for someone who couldn't do planks or lift much weights, I have come a long way with Seleah in just 3 months and look forward to what else is stored in my training course with her.

I wasn't able to use the toilet on my visit but I will check next time. I've seen them training school-aged and college athletes, soccer moms, pudgy dads, Spartan-racers and everything in between. I do "bootcamp" 5-6 times per week, which is a one-hour, high intensity butt-kicking that can include anything from chin-ups and pushups to tire-flipping and sledgehammers. And squats. Lots of squats. The workouts are flexible and scalable depending on the individual's needs, so a wide range of people can work out together. The trainers all do a great job of understanding the needs of the athletes, and keeping the workouts varied so it doesn't get boring or repetitive. There's great camaraderie among the boot camp crew, and we occasionally go to happy hour at the Riverside Inn, so there's that too.

Trainer comes up with attitude that I'm using the space despite walking away for 30+ minutes. Came really disrespectful specifically to me despite others also using the space. Came up mid set of mine and only placed a ball down and told me I can't be using the area. What irks me is that there were two people also there using the cable machine. And I've seen other people using it. There was a 30-1hr gap between his clients in which no other trainer was using the area. I was already using it for a while completing 4 sets prior too. I don't mind moving if you have a client but just gotta lmk since I don't see any schedules posted. Otherwise a good gym with good equipment

I've paid monthly dues to a few gyms over the years and went only a handful of times. Why? Because…read morethey felt impersonal and superficial. Nothing was keeping me coming back. Don't even get me started about to cancel one of these memberships. I went into Resurgence curious about lifting heavy, with good form and was genuinely greeted with kindness and curiosity. They wanted to know what my goals were and how I wanted to get there. I'm an active woman in my 40's with a previous injury so joining a powerlifting gym could feel intimidating. But this was not the case. I felt very welcomed and got started with one of their trainers, Carl ( the best!!!!) The fees are very reasonable, which has made it possible for me to really commit and frankly change my life. I deal with a lot of caretaking on a daily basis and getting stronger in this space has made that possible without feeling that I am harming my body. Everyone here knows your name and is available to help but you have space to explore and learn on your own. This is truly a place for everyone.
