Amazing food at a great price! A hidden gem in Rexburg. I highly recommend the burger and curly fries.

As for the food, given that most reviews were bad, I gambled and had a Cesar salad and the salmon with Cajun sauce since I was staying at the hotel and wanted to relive my childhood visit. The salad took too long to show up, especially since I was the first group for dinner. It was 3 times the size of Yellowstone Mammoth Restaurant, but not as good--did not finish, Cesar dressing is the problem . The Cajun sauce on the salmon was tasteless and the salmon boring, BUT the rice it sat on was Cajun and spicy enough to make the main dish acceptable. The rice won the meal by adding it to each bite of the salmon! All were served warm, including the green beans. Desert was the LavaDivine Fudge Cake. It was dry and needed the whip cream on top and on the side to make it worthy of being called a dessert. I ate it all. Was it worth the $57 before tip? Yes and no. Yes, because I'm on vacation at a famous hotel conveniently located downstairs. No, if I was back in Houston at a restaurant trying to claim class. I'll be back again if I stay at the Old Faithful Inn in the future.

The biscuits were hard and dry. The bacon was really well cooked and very good. They had bacon gravy and it was delicious. The pastry's were excellent. The rest of the food was fair. The waitress (server) was from the Tampa Florida area. She was very friendly and very attentive. Since we couldn't get the girls at the buffet to stop talking to each other long enough in order to refill the syrup for the overcooked French toast. We asked the server and she quickly went and got us some. For $22 each it also comes with a drink and orange juice. It's very unlikely that we will return on our next visit to Yellowstone next year.

Everyone was a big fan of the restaurant and had nothing but great things to say and recommend. We had the Noodle Salad and it was the best of that type of salad that we have ever had. Fellow customers were getting huge, delicious burgers, which we later found out were actually the smaller ones! Others praised the steaks and prime rib, which we plan on trying tonight (yup, we're going back right away). Last, but not least, the staff were very friendly, and the most pleasant surprise was our bartender, Jordyn. Great drinks, great attitude, great recommendations - look out Jordyn, we're coming back to see you!

It's the perfect spot for hearty, traditional Midwestern comfort food. After all, how can you visit Potato Country without enjoying at least one perfectly baked potato? A little fun (and mostly useless) fact: Potatoes are typically harvested once a year in the fall and stored in underground bunkers. The ones you usually buy in stores are often nearly a year old. And if a potato starts to sprout? It simply becomes part of the next season's crop. The moment you walk in, it feels like stepping into a time machine. The interior is warm and cozy, with darker tones, rich red accents, wood-paneled walls, and glass partitions. There's even a mud room and a coat rack ready for those chilly Idaho winter nights. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Our server introduced herself right away and took our drink orders with a smile. I went with the Ultimate Philly--tender, well-done strips of their famous prime rib, grilled onions and peppers, all smothered in a rich cheese sauce. It came with a side of au jus for dipping and your choice of side. I couldn't resist ordering the Jaker's Baker, a massive Idaho potato loaded with all the toppings. The prime rib was flavorful and juicy, and the baked potato was hearty and satisfying--the ultimate classic meat-and-potatoes meal. When I travel, I love experiencing local flavor, and Jakers delivers exactly that.

The pub isn't on the Jackson town center, so that mitigates some traffic. Nonetheless the brewery was decently crowded. Fully menu service at the bar, upstairs or downstairs. Seating is first come, first served. Nice mix of tourists and regulars assembled for football, brews and lively socializing. Fun music playlist could still be heard despite the large TV screen. The space feels both contemporary yet a Jackson Hole institution. While the menu features pub food, I shortlisted a number of gourmet contenders. Ultimately the "slash and burn trout" was irresistible. You'll love this dish if you like a variety of colors, flavors and textures. I meant to 86 the fried leeks, but they added crispy fun to the tender fish, decadent pork belly, sweet corn & roasted tomatoes & fresh radish sprouts. This plate qualifies for culinary genius.

Be prepared for it, especially during peak times. We waited about an hour just to be seated, and once we ordered, the food also took quite a while to come out. The brewery itself has a lively atmosphere with plenty of seating and a fun energy without feeling overly touristy. It's a great place to unwind after a day exploring the area. The beer selection offers something for just about everyone, and the food was good overall. Nothing completely wowed me, but everything was decently prepared. The bison burger was pretty dry and you can't pick how you wanted it cooked so that was a miss. The service was friendly throughout despite how busy they were.
