They were in and out in 3 days, subfloor replaced, flooring replaced, trim repaired, all electrical and plumbing repaired, AND crappy old kitchen cupboards removed and then reinstalled without any damage either to the cupboards nor the tile backsplash. This was all done last week. We just had a second contractor get back to us with a late estimate for the same job, insisting that the kitchen cupboards would almost certainly fall apart and need to be replaced (for more money obviously). So we sent a photo of the job already done with cupboards intact. We will only be hiring JJ from now on.

The shower backs to my hall wood floor....within a short time I noticed bumbles appearing in my wood floor and I contacted the floor person.....bumbles in the wood is water damage!! By means of attempting several solutions to no avail, we have to totally tear down and redo after only 3 1/2 yrs. We realized the leaking has to be an issue under the floor......The pan was put in wrong, so it drained out around it in one of the corners! The Cloud Nine owner, Gilbert, refused to assist when I wanted to find out who installed the glass doors as we were trying to attempt to have more reap holes drilled thinking that might help drainage! His response, was, it's no longer under warranty! You don't care about warranty when your trying to fix a leaking problem damaging your floor. The attitude of the owner was uncooperative. Their Installation was not done correctly and has had cost & headaches to try to fix! No stars from my experience with Cloud Nine Construction!

They knew my budget upfront was a $100k and they said they could complete the job with the targeted budget. After I paid 7k for their so call design fees, they gave me a construction price of $321k. Their design team gave me no innovative ways to lower the cost other than shrinking the size of the addition from a large bedroom to a tiny office. They knew we were expanding our home to accommodate our special needs child and I felt that they led us on with false promises, when they clearly did not want to complete the job. Our main goal, was to expand home to accommodate our special needs child so he could have his own space. Their design team did not think outside the box when I asked to give me different ideas we could accomplish this within our budget. It was very disappointing that they gave me back my same designs I originally gave them. DODSON BUILDERS CONSTRUCTION miss lead their customers by saying "yes, we can complete your remodel within your budget but you have to pay a non-refundable 7k" when DODSON Builders knew they were going to over charge their customers.
