This isn't someone who's just offering to walk your dog, it's a bonafide business that's branded and whose reputation has been tended by its owner over time, and that means a lot to us and our family. It's also saved us a great deal of money over the years by avoiding impersonal, sketchy kennels. They focus on servicing the growing downtown riverfront area, especially residents of all the new condos and apartments near downtown. She takes her job very seriously and aims to make both the owners and dogs happy. She is reliable, responsible, patient, and gentle. She has a car and on hot days would drive my girls to the park so they didn't have to walk on the hot cement. This is just one example to show her consideration. She'll make sure they have plenty of water and don't overheat- which is huge for Frenchies. Her pricing is very fair and she will work with you to come to an arrangement that meets your needs. In a world where bad reviews can break a small business, I feel compelled to elaborate on my personal experience with Danna and her Park your Bark staff. I have personally witnessed the bond between Danna, the dogs and the dog owners...it is warm and personal. I call her before I call my vet at times. She knows the dogs inside out and cares for them like they were her own. The staff is professional and extremely efficient. We all come to know them well. Maybe this was a case of 'mistaken business identity'... but it is hurtful to see such a wonderful place get ripped apart by people who are clearly not part of the Park your Bark family. I cannot recommend Danna and her team enough. I suggest you call and speak to them before you follow this stranger's advice. Or if you live in Riverdale or the surrounding area I am more than happy to give you first hand accounts and advice on putting your fur family member in Park your Bark Day Care or any day care. We've been taking our dog, Sadie, there 1-2 times a week for about 3 months. We bring her to socialize and we've picked up a 2nd day because she loves being there so much. I am retired, so she's strictly there for fun and socializing. When we pull up and park the car, open the door, she runs to the door and waits for me to open it. That tells all. That's the barometer! The Center is clean, fully staffed with trained handlers, they're always accommodating (full or half day) and most importantly, all furries are given a lot of love, activity and attention!
