Went here for my dads and sisters birthday today. It was my first time here. I didn't care for the food. I had the fried oyster meal and they put too much batter much like the consistency of a hush puppy. Also my sister ordered the stinkin crab special meal which was about 45 bucks alone and they didn't give her enough of the seafood juice in her bag of seafood like they suppose to as they do at the other locations. Instead they said if she wanted to have more juice we would need to pay $1.50 a up for more juice which we did. I have tried many seafood boil places and although the fried options were pretty good, and they have cheap beer, the seasoning isn't the right consistency. It's not BAD tasting it's just too thin. No seasoning sticks to the seafood. It looks gross when u look at it it looks like seafood in seasoned water. I took all my food out the bag and ate it. Out of all the Cajun seafood restaurants I have been to, this place probably has the freshest tasting shrimp and crab! The sauce is good, a little runny and garlicy, but still good. Went to celebrate my husbands birthday today here and what started as a nice dinner ended horrible! When it came to last call the waiter asked if we wanted to order anything else so we ordered a couple of drinks. We also ordered the free dessert that supposedly "everyone" gets. We were a party of 11 but they only brought out 8 desserts. When we told one of the waitress that we were missing some deserts, she said "no I brought 10" even through we were a party of 11 and literally went around the table to count each dessert plate. She saw the she was wrong but simply said "well the kitchen is closed". We ask the waiter about our drinks but I guess he forgot to put in our order so that doesn't come out either. We ask to speak to the manger Brianna and that went even worse. She has the most terrible manager skills I have ever seen. She approached our table with attitude and was very rude with us. When we asked her about the dessert she said " my cooks are gone I can't do anything about it" mind you the dessert is ice cream and an Oreo cookie. When we asked her about the drinks she said "it's past last call I can't do anything about it." She didn't even offer to bring the kids a plate of ice cream I don't think she needs cooks for that. In the middle of all of this we paid our bill and they got a $60 gratuity and a $12 service fee(don't know why) that they don't deserve. Will definitely be my last time here! They need to get new "managers" that actually want to help the customer out and make this a friendlier environment. This particular time I came and spent over $75 worth of crawfish and shrimp to go and when I got home my food was basically dry. BARELY any sauce. It wasn't good the crawfish was very fishy and I was highly disappointed. I called to let them know and to see if there was anything they can do because I'm not satisfied with my food. Not a big fan of seafood, but I do love shrimp. With that being said, the shrimp tacos were amazing. The fried zucchini was crispy and delicious. I got to try my dad's garlic butter shrimp and they were also great. I've been to this location before with a different staff and had a great experience. Me and a friend went today and I couldn't believe the difference in service. We sit down to order and they didnt bring anything to the table. We had to ask for salt and limes and plastic ware. Also they didn't have bibs? No bibs? Are you kidding me. I had to get up and get my own plastic ware and it was like I tried to steal the cash register. They started yelling like hey you cant grab your own. I was like dam! Sorry but I need them to eat. Then when I said that the manager Bree said calm down it's not that serious very sarcastically. They made a big deal out if nothing. Ordered the snow crab and shrimp, the Cajun sauce could use some revisions, it's way to buttery and runny and lacks garlic flavor. It's competitors Kicking Crab has a much better sauce. By far one of my favorite places for Cajun shrimp. You can tell right away that the shrimp is fresh. They don't add too much garlic so you don't walk out smelling like it. My first time at a place like this. When we walked in we were greeted by the manager and told to sit where we wanted. Our server was there within a minute or two and he was wonderful! Decided to give them a try because my mom didn't want to drive to Kickin Crab. Boy do I wish that I would have convinced her to make the drive. The food was bland and overpriced. For myself I ordered a Lb of snow crab and a Lb of shrimp. For the Lb of crab I literally received 1 cluster and 2 legs from another cluster and was charged $21. My total bill was $103 which I would not have minded if the food was good and I least got my monies worth. My waitress was very nice and friendly.
