    Michelada not worth the price
    Mayra M.

This was my first time coming here, and I wanted to try a new Mariscos spot. I regret it. I originally wanted camarones a la Diabla, which is not on the menu. Then I asked for camarones a la chucaracha but it doesn't come with rice is more like an appetizer didn't want that. So I just ended up getting the cocktail De camarones. First impressions count this doesn't look too good beside that has no flavor whatsoever completely disappointed. The michelada so not worth it.

We were a party of 5, and I got to sample a little bit from everyone's plate. We got a dozen oysters, aguachiles with shrimp and scallops, mojarra, rib eye steak, shrimp ceviche, and guacamole. Everything was delicious! The only complaints I had were that the music was too loud and they overcharged me $100. The staff is helpful and kind.

The place is very bright makes you feel alive after a really bad hangover lol ! We felt very welcomed the customer service provided by Sofia was great! We got served right away and after ordering food we received our order after 15mins yes. The tostada mixta was sweet and had a delicious tangy taste we enjoyed every bite! I also ordered the camaron molcajete super delicious and fresh ! I highly recommend this place !

    $12.00 for this ????

Too expensive. Down the road at a comparable establishment tacos are $1.50 cheaper of the same size. Micheladas are $12.00!!! and they don't even have shrimps in it. Leave your card at home. Cash Only.

Restaurant is a descent size and they have a parking lot and available parking in the street. Our waitress was very nice and on top of it. After placing our order food came out pretty quick but after reading on the hyped reviews on the food I was not impressed. The tostada de Jaiba did taste better than it looked but still lacked flavor along with the Ceviche de Pescado (tasted too fishy) Ceviche de Camaron was good. The Coctel de Camaron was better after adding ketchup in it which the server (not waitress) looked bothered when I asked for ketchup. I hate feeling like I insult ppls food when I have to add more S&P or anything to give it more flavor but if I'm the one paying for it. Anyway.... the coctel was ok. Taco de Marlin was a win. All in all I wasn't impressed but to each there own. If you're a seafood fan like I am I say give it a try.

Been a big fan of El Viejon since their original location was basically just a tent. The service here is always good. Food portions are always big. The tostadas they give beforehand with the mustard are great too! I really like this new location to take my brother to when he gets off of school. It's spacious and they have tvs. Can't wait to come back again.

El viejon is the daddy of all mariscos restaurants. Best seafood in the game. They literally have someone drive to Baja every week to bring Marlin and scallops. True quality you can taste. Worth every penny . I highly recommend. My family and I have been coming here since I was a kid and now I come to this newer location it's slightly closer to me and still as good as ever. If you like seafood you must come here. The BEST. My favorite are their callos de hacha a signature from my hometown and their avocado always so picture perfect omg amazing !

This guy consistently goes above and beyond, and our most recent visit was no exception. What really sets Alberto apart is how he anticipates everything. He checked on our spice tolerance mid-boil to make sure it wasn't overwhelming, and he kept the wet wipes and extra lemon coming without us lifting a finger. The food was phenomenal as always but Alberto's energy and genuine care elevated the whole experience. He's friendly, efficient, funny without being over-the-top, and clearly passionate about making sure everyone leaves happy and stuffed. If you're at any Stinkin' Crawfish location and see Alberto on the floor, request him--you won't regret it. Thanks again, Alberto--you're the reason we keep coming back! Highly recommend--food is , but service like this is priceless.

My aunt and I planned to go to another local seafood place similar and wasn't feeling it so we came here and I'm glad we did. I love that they have a sink to wash your hands which was my exact thought walking in to do. I've never seen that and I feel every seafood place should have that. It wasn't crowded on a Monday afternoon at all. We were seated right away and ordered. The food was good. I'm big on the sauce and the consistency of it. It was flavorful which I got the special house sauce. They are very accurate on their quantity which I'm not used too but it was still good. I would come back. If it weren't for the very loud music playing, I would not have known this was a Mexican restaurant. We ordered Fish and Shrimp Ceviche tostadas, but it was ok not the best I ever had. Tostadas had more Cucumbers and Tomatoes than Fish or Shrimp, and to make it worse, it was soaked in some kind of unidentifiable watery juice which made the hard Tostada soggy. What prompts M E Perihuete to soak a hard Tostada shell with water? unbelievable! The Chilaquiles were bad. They were so spicy I could not taste my food. Overall, the service was bad the lady who served us was busy laughing and giggling with the male customers instead of attending to her tables. I have to say the obvious about the waitresses here, to be as nice as I can put it, their lips stand out as plungers, the chest, and behind well, so obvious they were not normal... The service was bad and the food was not the best. Pricey. Plenty of parking.

The sauce in the bag felt a bit... watered down like it went for a swim before meeting the seafood. For a party of four, we ordered: SHRIMP LOVER COMBO, LOBSTER ROLL, SIDE OF RICE, BASKET OF SEASONED FRIES, AND MAD DOG XXX SAUCE on the side. Portion-wise, we left comfortably full and only slightly questioning our life choices. The Shrimp Lover Combo can't be modified. We chose Stinkin' Special and Spicy, which came with a plastic glove so you can dig in like a civilized gremlin. The Stinkin' Special was a generous blasts of Old Bay and enough garlic to ward off vampires. The Mad Dog sauce wasn't shock-your-soul spicy, but it definitely lingered. I was still feeling its friendly burn hours later and well into the evening. The LOBSTER ROLLL was tasty but fleeting. It's one of those dishes that makes you realize the meal is almost over right when you're hitting peak satisfaction. A little emotional damage there. We wrapped it all up with deep-fried Oreos and ice cream, which was an instant win. Sweet, cooling relief after all that heat. It;s also just a pretty good quality seafood boil as well. The shrimp was well cooked, and everything was flavorful but not salty. I do think that the deal is now $25 for 2lbs, but that is still cheaper than most places around. I added sausage, corn, and potatoes, and my party of two was full. I also super enjoy the $1 shots of soju. It's 6 shots max per person, but that puts you at a nice buzz for your meal.
