However, I recently had a crown done on my front tooth that exceeded my greatest expectations! Dr. Liz Cristofano- who only comes to the office on Monday's and Fridays is the absolute best dentist there is. She's honest, caring, and TALENTED. She explained the procedure and although I was nervous about having an exact match on my front tooth, she assured me that I would be sent to a lab to find a color match for my neighboring teeth. She worked with Sandy (who's also incredible) to find a temporary crown that worked for me until my permanent crown came in and it looked great. Today I went in for my permanent crown and Dr. Cristofano was such a perfectionist in making sure the tooth was shaved perfectly in line with my other teeth and I could not believe the finished product! Us Veterans tend to get appointment dates confused. Happen all the time. I also took the day off to get the crown done. Your office had been calling me to get the root canal done which I had delayed because I had an issue last Sept when I was going the root canal. I did get the root canal as you asked. The young front desk lady said there was nothing she can do when I asked if they could squeeze me in to get the crown done. I asked if I can speak to the office manager and she said there was non-available. I then asked when will an office manager be back and she said no office manager would be back until Tuesday. There was no attempt to call anyone to try and help. I asked the young front desk lady to cancel the 19 June appointment as I would be out of town. I really believe that there were other options to offer instead of turning me down as I was already there, and the crown did would not take much to install.

Over the years, I have done a lot of work on my teeth with many Dentists in 3 different countries, bridges, implants, crowns, veneers, root canals, and all that dental work needs special attention and maintenance. I see Dr. Daniels regularly since 2014, and I have had a few emergencies with broken teeth, and he has always done outstanding work. Dr. Daniels is also treating my sleep apnea. After four years since my initial diagnosis, I'm delighted to share that my Sleep Apnea has vanished, supported by one in-home sleep study and one in-clinic sleep study, both of which confirmed the positive outcome. Though I still snore occasionally, the life-threatening aspect of sleep apnea is no longer a concern. I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Daniels for his exceptional care and expertise. As I tried to explain that in 12 years I've never paid for a cleaning she then said .. "oh that's a prophylactic cleaning, we recommend another one", when she refused to do the other I walked out. I haven't had any dental issues in years and have regular cleanings. I let them talk me into a deep cleaning in the fall and that cost me hundreds of dollars. My son had a crown placed and I paid over 400 for that, then the insurance company questioned all the costs. Every time one of us walks in there, it's an additional cost that I've never encountered at another dentist. Don't go here!

Coupled with complex dental issues that compromised their smiles, we did not have much hope. My daughter was in distress and needed an urgent appointment. She was squeezed in, quickly evaluated, and a reasonable treatment plan was created. From the front desk, to the techs, to Dr. Patel, the service has been consistently exemplary. During the middle of my daughter's course of treatment, my husband had an infection that compromised already weak front teeth. Again, the service was extremely professional and friendly. They were so careful and considerate in taking impressions, doing scans, and performing the eventual surgery. My husband, who is understandably skittish around dentists, was put completely at ease. He eventually needed prosthodontics and even the temporary device is gorgeous. He mentioned how Dr. Patel has a perfect touch and how he felt zero pain. Moreover, he loved her professionalism. I appreciated working with Cameron (I hope I have the spelling correct) at the front desk. She presented the plans for both my husband and daughter, and explained what was due and when. Dr. Patel kindly gave post-surgery care instructions to me as well, to make sure my husband's healing was not painful. Over the next week I received two additional calls from New Tampa family dental asking for my insurance information because they kept failing to enter it into the computer correctly. Then a few days before my appointment I received a health questionnaire that I had to complete through my cell phone. At first this seemed like a typical dental questionnaire about allergies and previous surgeries. However, I was required to enter my insurance information a fourth time, upload pictures of my driver's license, and answer roughly 50 to 100 questions about my health history. On the day of the appointment I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early since I was a new patient. I was informed after arriving that showing up 15 minutes early was not necessary since I had already completed the excessively long health questionnaire. I then proceeded to wait in the waiting room for 20 minutes before being called back. Once the cleaning began I was informed that I would need to complete mandatory extra services that were not covered by insurance. When I questioned why these extra services were mandatory I was never provided with an adequate explanation. I have never had a cavity and dental cleanings have always been run-of-the-mill for me. When I refused to accept the extra services New Tampa family dental refused to treat me. I ended up walking out of my appointment without completing my routine cleaning. A few weeks later I went to a different dentist in Wesley Chapel and was faced with none of these mandatory extra services and received compliments on my oral hygiene. New Tampa family dental was an outlier in every interaction I had with them, and they were not an outlier in a positive direction.
