Nice little wine bar by Parcelle! I had dinner reservations across the street so I just popped in for a glass of wine while I waited for my friend. Great wine selection of course but a bit on the higher price point.

This place has been on my list and I'm so glad I was able to try. I was happily surprised with my experience here, and will definitely be back. I thought the food options were great - it was filling and yummy. The drinks were great as well - I had a great chilled red. The space is pretty big, although we sat downstairs on the couch (communal) and faced the mirror so it was a bit weird.

Parcelle has great vibes. It's a very cozy space and is very nicely decorated. I think it's a great spot to catch up with friends or as a stop on a chill night out. The service was okay, but the waiter did take our wine away before we were finished with it and forgot to put the second half of our order for a while. We tried a lot of the food while we were there. It was all okay, but nothing stood out. Everything was very small, but that was expected for a wine bar. The white sauce under the scallops had a very strange flavor, but overall, everything was pretty fresh.

So obsessed with this spot. Well-curated, intimate space perfect for a date or catching up with friends. Orange WOTD was the first orange I've really liked! Got some bites too - great potatoes but would skip the tuna crudo.

Parcelle is one of my go to spots in the city and I'm 50 trips late in making this review. Parcelle is the laid back, retro, perfectly-planned-acoustics vibe you're looking for when you're with a date or a few friends. It's cozy with great lighting and feels chill yet hip and exclusive at the same time. Plus, you can easily hear the people you're with which I always appreciate! The wine list is well thought out, fun, and super unique, with bottles from locations and producers you probably wouldn't know much about. The by-the-glass list is shorter (though lots of fun!), but the bottles are hidden gems so I'd recommend going the bottle route if you have a few people joining. The service is always top notch. Everyone is so kind and I always feel like there's thought put into helping you decide a wine or guide you to something you'll enjoy. Amazing sommeliers here to help you out and just talk about wine. Love love love this place!!!

You could easily find a better place for wine & vibes--crab fried rice was mediocre and salty esp for $35; the uni toast was legit 2 crostini crackers with a few slivers of musty, funky uni on top ($20). Taste was off... like shamu farted in my mouth ...couldn't even finish my piece and that's saying a lot bc it was litch rally the size of a cheezit and I rarely ever waste food esp when splurging. I highly recommend coming for the interiors if you're in the mood to experience a space ridden with elements from some pretentious creative director's Pinterest board service was alright, our waitress was sweet, the male host was stoic and standoffish (but maybe he's just having one of those days but also cmon u got 2 ABGs walking in all giggly and in high spirits--just picture Kiki and Lala encountering Mojo Jojo) & he forgot to reseat us at a 2-seat table for dinner despite telling us he'd move us when our table is ready ...so we were left at the communal table throughout the night

Great wine selection. This orange wine is one of my favorites and incredibly hard to find so I was excited they had it!

Very special place. Such a cool ambience inside with the green entry way, the natural embroidered walls, the low light and the twinkly starlights above. Our waiter was great he helped us with recommendations on the menu and was attentive. We ordered the crab fried rice and the local asparagus with fiddle ferns. I'm giving 4 stars because I wasn't wowed by the fried rice, it was not memorable. Loved the wine, the glassware, and the overall vibe though. We sat on the sofa which was so cozy, it was perfect for a date. I will be returning to try more things on the menu.

Loved the orange wine I had and snacks we ordered for the table both times over the course of a year were just as good.

Wow East Village! You have yourself a gem with Rake Wine Bar! We were waiting for our dinner…read morereservations and decided to stop in here for a pre-dinner drink and bite. I am SO glad we did. The vibe drew us in, they had great music bumpin from the outside, it looked lively and welcoming. Let me tell you- I would have skipped dinner and just stayed here all evening if it was my choice! But alas, my husband wanted a bit more to eat. But let me tell you- their knowledge of wine is PRISTINE! I can't tell you what white wine we had but they captured our tastes perfectly. We also shared a bruschetta and it was deliciouso! I love how friendly the staff was here and how unpretentious it all was. Next time we are in NYC- we will definitely make a point to come visit Rake!

First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

The hwe crudo was refreshing and delicious, and the salad was also a standout -- bright, crisp, and really well-balanced. But the best thing we had by far was the dak mandu, the crab/chicken dumplings. Those alone are worth coming back for. The ssam lettuce wraps were good, though they read a little more like Jewish brisket with a spicy bean sauce than what I expected from a Korean lettuce wrap. Still tasty, just a different vibe. Honestly, this would've been a 5-star meal if I didn't leave with three mosquito bites. Great food, great service, great wine -- just maybe bring bug spray.

The bar is very scenic so you will definitely feel like you are getting the full dining experience. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Make reservations for peak dining times in the evenings and on weekends. Many people walked in without reservations and were seated right away on Saturday evenings. Highly recommend trying their original cocktails ($18). We tried the flower child and the harvest moon. Both were tasty. I would get harvest moon again and again. Perfect balance of Tart, sweet refreshing and strong. Menu items change seasonally so it's delightful to try something new every time you visit. $21 potato croquettes were highly disappointing. Everyone recommended them highly, but I could not understand why. For such price, three tiny balls of fried potato should've been mind blowing, but they were underwhelming and forgettable at best. Skip. $24 giant ricotta stuffed raviolo was delightful. Such soothing comfort food. If I could eat just this, I would be happy. $26 fresh crudo was refreshing and light. Delicious cold broth/juice soup in which it was served. $32 Bronzino with mussels in a broth was superb. Light, crispy, and delicate. Would eat this dish for dinner Any night of the day. Balanced flavor profile. Could suit anyone who is picky about their food. $30 lamb neck was a solid dish. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and delicate and flavorful on the inside. Wish the portion was a bit bigger, especially the sides. $38 duck confit was highly advertised, however, it was underwhelming and the least stand out dish. It was solid, but nothing that I would order again or recommend. The duck was on the dry side. Definitely not enough sauce. The cabbage and the cabbage salad were good. Crispy and refreshing. The duck was not the star of this dish. $13 chocolate mousse with strawberry coulis was surprisingly delightful. So light and balanced. Not sweet, but just right to finish a meal. I could eat this dessert every day after every single meal. So simple, yet it hit the spot. Service is very fast and efficient. One of our readers was superb and provided stellar recommendations. Another waiter (young and inexperienced) was very shy and his energy felt very stifling.
