What's not to love? After discovering they were out of fries and tots, we settle on the same order, but over chips. What I did not expect was tortilla chips, creating more of a cheesesteak nachos style, but the chips made for a good crunch and not the typical soggy mess that tends to happen with smothered fries or tots. I was a little disappointed in the steak and cheese though, as the steak was chopped fine with the consistency of ground beef and the cheese wasn't freshly melted cheese, but more of a queso base cheese. Portion was pretty small for $12, but gave us just the amount of light sustenance we needed before making our way to another brewery. When stumbling upon this truck again, I think I'll stick to trying one of their sandwiches.

They're rated really high -- actually one of the highest-rated restaurants in Fort Collins -- and from a food perspective I don't really understand why. Sliders with sweet potato fries -- fine, nothing extraordinary. Potato éclairs -- . It was really just mashed potatoes with some topping on it. I honestly didn't even finish it. Mountain oysters -- huge letdown. They came out so overcooked they were basically crunchier than potato chips, with the batter crumbling off. I've never had them before, so I didn't get a good representation of how they're supposed to be -- these were just super-cooked batter. On the space: we ended up sitting in three different spots to eat. We went outside by the street first -- super loud, and people were smoking, so we headed back in. The open spot inside was right under the AC and about forty degrees, so we moved to the back area. The back was fine -- covered -- but pretty dirty, with mop buckets and clutter sitting around. The one drink I had was a good value since we were there at happy hour -- some kind of fruity whiskey drink. It was fine, but nothing I'd seek out again. I hate to give such a friendly place a bad review. It'd be a really great spot if you're a college student who wants some cheap bites and a drink -- but honestly it's just bar food, and the ceiling is probably a 4 on a really good day. I wouldn't get excited to head down there, and parking is a bit of a hassle too. Would recommend only if you're after very cheap eats in that area -- check them out for happy hour. But I would not return.

No way are their so many five star reviews after the sale of the Fort Collins icon Choice City. This new rebranding of Choice City is way way over priced, totally destroyed the cool beer taps-Chimay Ale used to be on tap. It's all gone, chill vibe, great sandwiches, deli counter meats. All gone. In its place is a sterile Over priced mess of a restaurant that was decorated with on line IKEA furniture and a terrible Sysco Foods mass produced food product. Burger was juicy, flavorful, and the tempura avocados were an interesting twist on the un-fried norm. First couple bites had some crisp but mostly the avocados got soggy halfway through. They're listed as opening at 11 AM, but when I arrived with another customer, the doors didn't even open until 11:10 AM. Even then, they clearly weren't ready to be open. There were no slices available, and it didn't feel like they were anywhere close to being prepared for customers. The atmosphere didn't help either. The interaction felt somewhat rude and dismissive, with a lot of excuses instead of solutions. There is a sign stating "no public restrooms," which I initially didn't realize also applied to paying customers. During my visit, two different people came in asking to use the restroom-- want to use it in another just to wash their hands-- and both were returned away. After the second request, the employee put "out of order" signs on both of the restroom doors, which felt misleading. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and underwhelming. The food is mediocre, and the service doesn't make up for it.
