That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. I'm stoked that Jax got another popular Korean brand place: I came in during opening week so I know that it's going to be busy however I did not realize how tight space it was. Very crammed and it was very hard to see which Pastries to buy while going through a line of people grabbing the same thing. But I'm glad that they do have individual tongs to get the pastries ourselves, which is great for the cleanliness. The staff is working very hard and I could tell they are stressed out. I think they would be better if they can hire more people at the checkout because the line is long and it's moving very slow so it's hard to be carrying a tray full of pastries while waiting in line. I had the Easter themed donuts with cream inside, which is very light and fluffy. My daughter loved it. Also got to try their popular Korean iced coffee with milk. Stopped in here for a quick snack. It took me a second to understand the setup. The way I describe it is a cafeteria style place where you put your food on the tray. You go to the checkout counter and order desserts behind the glass and coffee and hot beverage drinks. I got the Dubai hot chocolate and it was very rich but very tasty. I felt like the egg cheese croissant sandwich was way too cheesy for my taste and I kind of wish I would've grabbed something with a bit more protein. There is seating on a first come first serve basis. I gave this three stars because it was fine. I think if I pop in again I'll try some of the delectable desserts behind the glass. read more

Paris Baguette was a great place to wander to while waiting to get a flash tattoo over at the brewery. They have lots of options for packaged food, bakery items, and drinks both hot and cold. My friend and I got egg and cheese sandwiches and they were very meh--the cheese was too much, and the mustardy sauce was too rich. The bread was also soft and a little too salty. Not my favorite, but my friend got a Dubai chocolate hot chocolate and that was incredibly tasty. The dining room didn't seem super well looked after as the water cooler was empty and many of the tables had trash and had been moved around. In general I don't usually patronize too many of the chains but this one was fine and I would come back to try the baked goods. read more

This was a hard review for me to write. As on most fronts it underwhelmed but many of the problems I cannot fully penalize. Let's start with the good. The warm savory pastries here were delightful. I tried both the sausage and hash brown croissants. These alone would make a trip worth it. I was, however, disappointed by the pasties in the display case. But anyone who knows how these work will tell you "if you come in at 1 they're likely not as fresh as early in the morning." And I believe that was the case with these. I would not get another sweet one last 10am if I visited again. The service here was poor. But I will not penalize the performance of our cashier. She seemed new and quite overwhelmed with all that was asked of her. Felt as though management was as dropping the ball for not having someone train her a little bit more before setting her on her own. Would come again. read more

I get it was near closing but the eye roll from the young lady sweeping while a family was eating was odd. Then while grabbing our pastries, the other young lady was grabbing items out the case when I asked her " can you leave those, you have 6 mins until your posted closing time. Since it was obvious they didn't want my business, I went from wanting a few boxes of items to just one. I still think this place is overall a 4 but wanted to update my review specifically for the rainbow cake slice, which I would give a 3 out of 5. Prices seem to have climbed here and the rainbow cake is $8.25 after tax. Watch out for birthday rewards and sign up if you haven't for a free slice though. I thought the crumb of the cake was good, not too dense. There are 6 layers (from the top: red, pink, orange, yellow, green, purple) and the white cream is a light stabilized whipped cream rather than a pastry or buttercream. The cake had a pleasant slightly sweet, slightly vanilla and a flavor that reminded me a little of skittles (maybe all the food dye?). I just don't think the value justifies the price on this one. The strawberry shortcake at Portillos, for example, delivers a tastier, fresher, larger cake portion with a better cream, that is a lot cheaper ($5.49 I think). I wouldn't order this again but will still try the others on offer. Great service and love the ambiance. read more

I've been here a couple times and have really enjoyed each visit. There are some things that are good and others that are GREAT! The cinnamon sugar twist is good stuff and the dough they use really has good flavor. The lemon donut pastry is just mmmmmm yummy! I think I could eat several of those in one sitting. It's just the right amount of lemon to sweet without being sour. When you walk in you can grab a tray and tongs and pick out whatever you want. My wife and I were visiting Orlando over the holiday weekend recently, and our first stop was in the late morning at Paris Baguette. We ended up going there each morning, for the three mornings that we were there to two locations; one in Winter Park and one in Winter Garden. The attached pictures are from the last day we were there. The service is decent, but it is pretty much self service except when you pay and the atmosphere is OK. It's a casual environment and usually fairly busy. I'm not giving it five stars over all because of the pricing compared to Europe and Paris in particular, is much more expensive per item. This place has lots of delicious looking pastries and items. I've gotten a few different things here and some have been good, but majority I've felt were just OK. What I don't love about this place is the service. Majority of your experience is self-serve until you pay. The last two times I've gone the kids working just stand around, some on their phones or just chatting, even as you come up. I went around 3ish and there was so much to choose from! I will say, something's looked a little over cooked but nonetheless, so many options! I ended up getting a strawberry cream cake and matcha latte. The lady helping me was super nice. She seemed new but she was very helpful for making my latte the way I wanted it. I didn't know they add white chocolate to their matcha latte. I had asked her if they add any sweetener, to please not add any and she made sure to inform me how it's made and then told me if I didn't like it or if I needed any adjustments to just let her know. For me, just the matcha and milk was perfect, so I appreciate how she wanted to make sure I thoroughly enjoyed my drink. The strawberry cake was good!! When I first arrived though, there was no toilet paper in the women's restroom, so I did have to ask for some. Thankfully the lady was quick to restock. Overall, my experience was good! This bakery with pastries is actually a chain from South Korea so mixed in with the croissants are delicacies from South Korea as well. It's an interesting concept for a bakery as you pack up your own order as you walk around the display cases. There are trays and wax paper if you are eating in and bags and boxes if you are taking out. There's also a food to go section that has salads and sandwiches. Up at the front counter are full cakes and cake slices (you do need to ask the counter service folks to get those for you) as well as drinks. The cashier will ring you up and you return the tongs you used. I actually really liked this as it made the process go very quickly. The only backlog that I could see was people waiting for their coffee drinks. Of the pastries I tried, I really like the cronut (croissant donut) with lemon cream inside, the almond pastry and the cheesecake slice (it is very light - a cheesecake soufflé). I wasn't a big fan of the peanut crumb bun or coffee bun but that probably because I didn't know what they were. They are brioche rolls with either a peanut or coffee topping - the roll was just a bit too dry for me. read more

So excited to have this option so close to my sister's who I visit pretty often. I got there early on their opening weekend so they were still getting all the booked goodies out. I did luck out and get to try a few amazing options. The pistachio white chocolate latte was fabulous good taste with just the right amount of flavoring.
