I stopped by Paris Baguette the other day because I kept getting the s'mores latte on my feet and it honestly looked so amazing! My first impression when I walked into this place is that it is so cute and aesthetic. They have a display in the middle with really unique pastries and then against the wall there's different type of pastry selection. All of the pastries were so pretty and fresh looking. The variety was almost kind of crazy because they had so many different types of desserts available. I also saw that they offered custom cakes. The girl at the front was super helpful with getting my order since I had ordered from my phone. I was thrilled when they gave me my drink and it looked exactly like what I had seen on Instagram! The presentation was great, the inside was smeared with marshmallow fluff in the top had graham cracker crumbs on top. The drink itself was pretty good too,definitely super chocolatey and rich! I got an extra shot of espresso, which helped balance out the flavor a lot. The drink was exactly what I wanted and was advertised. I'm stoked that Jax got another popular Korean brand place: I came in during opening week so I know that it's going to be busy however I did not realize how tight space it was. Very crammed and it was very hard to see which Pastries to buy while going through a line of people grabbing the same thing. But I'm glad that they do have individual tongs to get the pastries ourselves, which is great for the cleanliness. The staff is working very hard and I could tell they are stressed out. I think they would be better if they can hire more people at the checkout because the line is long and it's moving very slow so it's hard to be carrying a tray full of pastries while waiting in line. I had the Easter themed donuts with cream inside, which is very light and fluffy. My daughter loved it. Also got to try their popular Korean iced coffee with milk. Stopped in here for a quick snack. It took me a second to understand the setup. The way I describe it is a cafeteria style place where you put your food on the tray. You go to the checkout counter and order desserts behind the glass and coffee and hot beverage drinks. I got the Dubai hot chocolate and it was very rich but very tasty. I felt like the egg cheese croissant sandwich was way too cheesy for my taste and I kind of wish I would've grabbed something with a bit more protein. There is seating on a first come first serve basis. I gave this three stars because it was fine. I think if I pop in again I'll try some of the delectable desserts behind the glass. read more

I was out in Hamblin Town Center area in Winter Garden for the Flag Day Parade with the wife. On our way out, we noticed a French Bakery. We stopped by and learned of this french inspired bakery which started in S. Korea. We picked up a variety of pastries to try out the food, we were not disappointed. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. The asked if we wanted the pastries warmed up, which we did and they taste very good. My friend and I got egg and cheese sandwiches and they were very meh--the cheese was too much, and the mustardy sauce was too rich. The bread was also soft and a little too salty. Not my favorite, but my friend got a Dubai chocolate hot chocolate and that was incredibly tasty. The dining room didn't seem super well looked after as the water cooler was empty and many of the tables had trash and had been moved around. In general I don't usually patronize too many of the chains but this one was fine and I would come back to try the baked goods. read more

This was a hard review for me to write. As on most fronts it underwhelmed but many of the problems I cannot fully penalize. Let's start with the good. The warm savory pastries here were delightful. I tried both the sausage and hash brown croissants. These alone would make a trip worth it. I was, however, disappointed by the pasties in the display case. But anyone who knows how these work will tell you "if you come in at 1 they're likely not as fresh as early in the morning." And I believe that was the case with these. I would not get another sweet one last 10am if I visited again. The service here was poor. But I will not penalize the performance of our cashier. She seemed new and quite overwhelmed with all that was asked of her. I get it was near closing but the eye roll from the young lady sweeping while a family was eating was odd. I still think this place is overall a 4 but wanted to update my review specifically for the rainbow cake slice, which I would give a 3 out of 5. Prices seem to have climbed here and the rainbow cake is $8.25 after tax. Watch out for birthday rewards and sign up if you haven't for a free slice though. I thought the crumb of the cake was good, not too dense. There are 6 layers (from the top: red, pink, orange, yellow, green, purple) and the white cream is a light stabilized whipped cream rather than a pastry or buttercream. The cake had a pleasant slightly sweet, slightly vanilla and a flavor that reminded me a little of skittles (maybe all the food dye?). I just don't think the value justifies the price on this one. The strawberry shortcake at Portillos, for example, delivers a tastier, fresher, larger cake portion with a better cream, that is a lot cheaper ($5.49 I think). I wouldn't order this again but will still try the others on offer. Great service and love the ambiance. read more

I use to go to this bakery many years ago in New York and New Jersey when I lived up there. So I'm glad they are expanding and opening stores in Florida. Like many franchises I just hope they don't cut corners and eventually screw it up. Time will tell. Everything here is tasty and never too sweet. The baked goods taste real and not filled with GMOs. I hope it stays that way. Each time I'm here I take a few baguettes with me. So interesting that this business started in South Korea. Someone just has to mention "french bakery" and I'm turning the wheel to go there. I might have a slight addiction to french pastries. I've been here a couple times and have really enjoyed each visit. There are some things that are good and others that are GREAT! The cinnamon sugar twist is good stuff and the dough they use really has good flavor. The lemon donut pastry is just mmmmmm yummy! I think I could eat several of those in one sitting. It's just the right amount of lemon to sweet without being sour. When you walk in you can grab a tray and tongs and pick out whatever you want. This bakery with pastries is actually a chain from South Korea so mixed in with the croissants are delicacies from South Korea as well. It's an interesting concept for a bakery as you pack up your own order as you walk around the display cases. There are trays and wax paper if you are eating in and bags and boxes if you are taking out. There's also a food to go section that has salads and sandwiches. Up at the front counter are full cakes and cake slices (you do need to ask the counter service folks to get those for you) as well as drinks. The cashier will ring you up and you return the tongs you used. I actually really liked this as it made the process go very quickly. The only backlog that I could see was people waiting for their coffee drinks. Of the pastries I tried, I really like the cronut (croissant donut) with lemon cream inside, the almond pastry and the cheesecake slice (it is very light - a cheesecake soufflé). I wasn't a big fan of the peanut crumb bun or coffee bun but that probably because I didn't know what they were. They are brioche rolls with either a peanut or coffee topping - the roll was just a bit too dry for me. read more

My husband and I stopped in to snag a bite to eat on a Friday afternoon, and it was very busy between dining in and taking food to go. The concept is a fast casual French bakery. There is a station for you to grab tongs, a tray, and wax paper to line your tray. The wax paper dispenser almost blends in with the counter, but thankfully, an employee pointed it out to us. FOOD (4.5/5): We sampled a LOT this time around. I ordered a turkey club on a baguette, jalapeno bacon quiche, pastel de nata, strawberry croissant, raspberry almond croissant, and twisted donut. Everything was very tasty, but I was disappointed that the strawberry croissant was burnt on the bottom. It gave the pastry a bitter taste that was unappealing. Otherwise, it would have been delicious. I would pass on the pastel de nata as well - it lacked the cinnamon sprinkle and flaky crust of a traditional Portuguese pastel de nata. I'd definitely go back to try more of their bakery items. COFFEE (5/5): THANK YOU to the employee who was patiently working with me to make sure that the order was correct. I ordered a cappuccino and coffee, and I'm pretty sure I said the wrong thing when I ordered. (I obviously needed a cup of coffee.) This place has lots of delicious looking pastries and items. I've gotten a few different things here and some have been good, but majority I've felt were just OK. What I don't love about this place is the service. Majority of your experience is self-serve until you pay. The last two times I've gone the kids working just stand around, some on their phones or just chatting, even as you come up. One of the times I checked out a To-go box and after paying the guy checking me out just stood there. I had to ask him to put a sticker or something on my box so it didn't open up.
