Paris Banh mi is a relatively new addition to Buford Hwy, located next to the old 99 Ranch Market. I stopped by after a quick lunch nearby and tried their soursop Smoothie ($7.99). The drink was tasty and refreshing! Not many spots have this smoothie so I just had to try it. Their menu is vast with so much variety! From banh mi to noodle soups, desserts, snacks, bubble tea and smoothies. I believe there's something for everyone. There is alot of seating inside, very spacious and with a mini Eiffel Tower in the middle of the restaurant. Additionally, there is plenty of (free) parking. Service is good and fast. I had seen this place go viral due to their labubu jellies but mainly wanted to go because I wanted to try their banh mi. It was on our way back home so we decided to stop by! It is in a shopping center with plenty of Asian shops and a decent amount of parking. We came in and were surprised to see such a spacious location. Plenty of seating! It has much more than banh mi as they had pho, rice platter, skillet plates, and drinks. I ordered a Thai tea and got a labubu jelly. I also decided to buy the seafood fried rice platter. They give you a number and you sit and wait for your food! I got my drink first or course and the food takes some time to prep. The wait was maybe around 15-20 minutes. The platter itself was very nice! The drink was super cute with the jelly on top, and the Thai tea was delicious and authentic. The rice came out shortly after. The taste was not exactly what I was expecting as they had a fried egg with the seafood mixed in. The egg was a little runny and I am a bit sensitive to that. I wish they would have asked or told us how the egg was going to be prepared as I am usually used to the egg being scrambled into the rice. I have been going to this restaurant regularly for the past few months. I love the Beef Pho and a Chicken Banh Mi with the pate. This is my favorite meal for me to go out and eat. It was $14.95 for a standard size. It's more of a medium size at best. The pate pork roll (pate cha lua) banh mi was on point though. It was rather pricier than some other banh mi's elsewhere. I came by to get some food and some studying done. The space in the back is isolated with several outlet spaces. I got an iced lychee strawberry tea with tapioca pearls and a pineapple bun. It seems like more of a day crowd kind of place so when we arrived for dinner there weren't many people there and most of the bakery items had already flown off the shelves. After deciding that we were going to Asian Square on Buford Highway in Doraville for a light dinner at about 8pm on Sunday, we parked the car at a nearby restaurant and were reconsidering our first restaurant choice. I just happened to look across the parking lot, and said to R, "Hey, do you remember seeing that place before?" He asked, "Where are you looking?" I said, "That place called Paris Banh Mi. It wasn't there the last time we came to Asian Square. Let's check it out!" Nice, new, well lit, clean and spacious place! This is a nice place to come with friends and spend some time eating a meal, drinking a refreshing drink and eating a sweet dessert. The employees working here are nice, helpful and the one that took our order was knowledgeable about the things that went into their banh mi sandwiches, which is what we were interested in eating. There are 8 choices of banh mi sandwiches, and we both chose the B2 Grilled Pork banh mi. We didn't have to wait long at all since the woman making the sandwiches was very quick. Another employee delivered the sandwiches to our table. This sandwich was delicious! Tasty and flavorful grilled pork, crunchy cucumber, pickled radish and carrot and crispy bread - these and the condiments all went together so smoothly. I liked how the jalapeño peppers were spaced out, and, yes, they provided a nice spike to the spice level. Everything in the sandwich were placed on there in generous portions. The only thing that I think could make this a better sandwich would be a nice crispy AND flakey baguette bread. What I had originally wanted was something light, but this size of this sandwich and the amount of everything that was stuffed in it actually made me full, but in a great way, although this stopped me from considering eating a dessert afterwards. Besides the banh mi sandwiches, Paris Banh Mi also has croissant sandwiches, burgers, Korean corn dogs and 7 types of various appetizers. It also has some refrigerated dessert treats that look too good to eat, along with baked goods. At about 8:30pm, on a Sunday, people were still coming into the store to see what baked goods were still available. The selection looked small at that time, but we could tell that there were so many empty baskets in the display areas that were probably full every morning. If you're in the mood to try their drinks, they have milk teas, milk slushies, coffees, Taiwanese Fruit teas, regular teas and flavored teas. They have a good selection of baked goods BUT I was too late because most of the bakery stuff was gone. It had a good amount or vegs and grilled pork was very good. The hot dog onion bun was very good. I had the bun later in the day and it was not dry when I warmed it up in the microwave. The bun bread was light and not heavy tasting. This is a great meal for the kids. I would recommend to go to the restaurant to taste their many versions of Pho soups, noodle dishes and more. The bun is like a soft French roll, not crispy, not chewy. Pate was airy, like the difference between cream cheese and whipped cream cheese. It's a big place, open, and lots of seating. At first I was not sure if they were going to take my order but I was assertive and the cashier soon entered it in and charged me. They said they would bring it to my table which they did.
